2Kings 4:1-7

This is a great story it places me where I am in life at this moment. So lets jump in to the story.

A widow woman went to Elisha and tells him, her husband who was a servant, and revered (adored) God had passed and now the tax collector  wants to take her sons as slaves.
So Elisha asks the widow how could he help her. What did she have in her house?
*This part of the scripture makes us ask. What are we working with?, what has God already given us to help us out of our situations?

So the widow answers Elisha I don’t have nothing at all, just a little oil.

* We have a way of always looking at what we already have as nothing. If you speak well and communicate  that’s something, if you’re a writer that’s something, if you make beautiful cakes then that’s what you do. Sharpen your skills and move forward. Lets see what happens.

Elisha tells the widow to go around to her neighbor and ask for empty jars not a little bit. Many he says ” don’t ask for a few.(2 kings 4:3)  then go inside shut the door behind you and your sons, pour the oil into all the jars. The widow did as she was told, as she poured the oil she put the filled Jar to the side, when there were no Jars to be filled, the oil stopped flowing. The widow went to Elisha and told him what had happen he told her to now sell the oil and pay her debt and she and her sons could live of rest. (2 Kings:7)

* The widow didn’t say well Elisha where am I gonna get the oil?, she didn’t  say Elisha you know how these neighbors are, no one is going to give me their empty jars. She didn’t go to her neighbors telling them what Elisha told her to do, She was obedient  to Gods orders she had faith. Her husband lead a righteous household he adored God, because she went to Elisha we know that the family followed the husbands lead, he is no longer with them but they still look to God. And with what they already had God blessed their family.God shined on them and showed favor upon them in that season. This is not to say you wont have to climb over some serious rocks. You may even get some scrapes and bruises it’s the faith that you can get back up. It’s the faith that you have the oil in you to get  to another level, it’s the faith that tells you God is ready to light your lamp, that you already have enough oil for the next step just go toward it.

If there is anyone out there looking for the Lord, he has been waiting for you, Confess with your mouth and your heart that Jesus died for your sins, that Jesus is the Son Of The Living God. Turn your bible to Romans 10:9 -13, get yourself in a bible based church and start your fellowship with the one who loves you.

Be Blessed everyone until next time

So before the enemy tries to pull you out of your purpose, and in to the swamp of where dreams Die, I want you to think about the last commandment given by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Love one another as God loves you

John13:34:  A New command I give you Love one another. As I have Loved you, so you must love one another.

Stay in prayer and Glorify his holy name in what ever you are doing. #dontdiluteyouroil

Romans 1:17, Proverbs 6:20, John5:5-8

What a wonderful experience that I have been going through. From the beginning I have expressed that I am on a righteous Journey. I am on this blog expressing what God has done in my life, also sharing the scriptures that he brings to me and what I felt they meant.

I am in an obedient stage in my faith, I had been searching for a teacher to mentor me through the process but couldn’t afford any at the moment. So I prayed that the Lord will guide me where he wanted me to be, what he wanted me to learn. He showed it to me by scripture I will add that listened and watched Pastor Kimberly Jones on periscope with the morning Declaration, if your looking for sound doctrine she is also a life coach. you can find her at  http://kimberlyj.net/ and on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/livpurposecoach/timeline  If you are on periscope already try to catch her  between 730 and 9:00am search Kimberly Jones. What an inspiration in the morning. Also I watch Dr Danny Flanagan he can be found at bookapostledtf@gmail.com

This week he gave me scripture, and then he showed me who they belong to.I had decided to deliver the word after stating that I would not testify this week, I wanted to just study and memorize the scripture for the week. Before service the word obedient came to my mind and I knew it was my spirit reminding me that I have to be obedient when he gives me a word. That I asked that he would fill me up with him. Before service I went over the scriptures with my pastor and God confirmed it was right through her, and so I continued on with delivering of the message.

The wonderful point is I had began studying the word and he began speaking to me through the word. The first scripture the Lord gave me was

Romans 1:17- For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed,- *you will receive God from the word

a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, * a righteousness that it given by the faith in christ

just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith * it is written the righteous will life by faith in Jesus Christ (1John5:5-12)

I learned in this scripture that I will hear him in the gospel, (good news) reading and learning scripture. In scripture my faith will build strong as I grow in fellowship with the Father. I refused to believe that I couldn’t memorize this scripture. God gave me a photogenic memory for his purpose. I concurred this scripture it was a tearful battle, but God pushed me past the pressure.the next scripture he gave me to memorize was

Psalms  118:13,14 – I was pushed back and about to fall, * I was going through hardship and almost lost

but the Lord helped me * But God

The Lord is my strength, and my song,  *he is my strength and worship

he has become my salvation. * he has delivered me from danger, difficulty

My God the Father had answered my Prayers and I felt closer to him. the second scripture was in my mind the second I read it and the sword was sharpening. The psalms 118 scripture brings tears to my eyes. How many of you can relate, How many has the Father caught before you fell How many has Jesus died for, he was concerned for our Salvation saving us and pulling us through hardship, abandonment, anxiety, depression. When the enemy was pushing you over the cliff, when everything was against you, the Lord caught you before you hit the Ground, he heard you call out his name. He is your strength to push pass the pressure. He is your worship and he is your Salavation, he will delver you from the enemy (Amen) he will deliver you from a sinful nature

If you are looking to hear the Lords voice, If you are looking to plant seeds. Confess with your mouth and heart that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans10:9-13. get in a good bible based church, subscribe to some Daily inspiration emails, some bible verse quote, and set aside time for you and the Lord (Amen).

Be Blessed Brothers and Sisters in Christ

2 Kings 5:1-27

I stumbled upon this scripture on the periscope, I was actually studying the Prodigal son, which will be coming on. so I’ll break down my notes and what my spirit Is telling about them. so  get out your bibles brothers and Sisters

2 Kings 5 : 1 – 27

We start off in verse 1 learning that Naaman was a commander of King Aram’s army, we learn that he was a great man in the sight of his master, because the Lord had given victory through him (Naaman) but he had leprosy. Now for those who do not know what leprosy is, it is a skin disease that causes sores and nerve damage

verse 2 a young woman who was taken from Israel and served as his wife’s servant, suggested he go see the prophet in Samaria, to be cured. 4 Naaman went to the king and told him what the girl said and was granted permission to go. King Aram wrote a letter to the King of Israel letting him know what Naaman was there for. 7 as soon as the king read the letter he tore his robe in anger thinking King  Aram was picking with him.

8 When Elisha the man of God heard the King got upset he sent a message to tell Naaman  to come to him, so that he knows there was a prophet.9 so Naaman went to Elisha’s house 10 Elisha sent a messenger to tell Naaman to wash himself 7 times in the Jordan river and his flesh will be restored, and you will be cleansed.10. Naaman left Elisha’s house angry, he couldn’t believe there wasn’t any big scene and calling on the name of the Lord. Aren’t the waters in Damascus better than the waters in Israel, couldn’t wash in them. he said  out of rage.

13 Naaman servant said to him if you had to do something out of hand and crazy wouldn’t you have, go and be washed. Naaman went down to the river and washed seven times and his flesh was restored, and became clean like a young boy. so you know his  skin was  smooth.

15 Then Naaman and his Attendants went back to The Man Of God. (Elisha) offering gifts. So Elisha says to him no as long as I serve the living God, I will not accept a thing. Naaman tried to convince Elisha to take a gift.

17 Naaman asks Elisha if not then let me be given as much earth as a pair of mules can care. (Naaman is asking for enough soil that 2 mules can carry to put in the ground when he got back to Damascus.) Naaman goes on to say I will never offer burnt offering or sacrifices to another god, but forgive me when my master( King Aram )    enters the temple of Rimmon to bow down   he is leaning on my arm and I bow down too, please forgive me for this. Elisha was like Go in peace your good.

20 Gehazi Elisha’s servant said to himself my Master was too easy on him by not excepting the gifts from him. I’m going to go get me so gifts. So  Gehazi rushed to catch up to Naaman chariot, Naaman saw him and got down to meet him. Naaman asks if everything was okay. and Gehazi said my Master  said to give me one talent of silver and two pairs of clothing. Naaman gets excited and says please take two talents he gave them to two   servant and they carried them ahead of Gehazi when he got close he took the bags from the servant and hid them in the house. and went to Elisha

25    Elisha  asks him were had he been, He tells him no where, but Elisha knew he was lying he  says  wasn’t I with you when he got off the  chariot to meet you. Is this the time to take money, then he tells him Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever. Then  Gehazi  went from Elisha and he was leprous, white as snow. This part was serious because Gheazi tried to dilute Naaman faith in a selfish way. Unknowingly he was trading God’s gifts for silver, then lied about it,  and tried to hide it. When we fall for deceit we  find ourselves in bad situations causing pain to not only ourselves but to people close to us.

Hope  you Enjoyed Have a Blessed night

Encouragement (tearing down walls)

Good Afternoon Brothers and sisters

I want to start off a little bit different today, I want to talk about when you finally hear God calling, and you begin to answer, that’s when things get busy. Now you start to follow the word, through study and prayer building your relationship with the father through the holy spirit. The closer you get to your purpose, the harder the pressure becomes. you know the saying when God starts moving  in your life, the evil one gets busy, gets nervous. so the ground under your foot starts to shake.

This Morning I was on periscope and was invited to join in on Dr Danny Flanagan live broadcast ( if you have not checked out periscope, saints please do what an experience) well Dr. Flanagan started to speak on Pressure, and when you’re doing good in your life, and God’s work, the pressure gets heavy.

I started to think about all the things that had been going on, then I started to pay attention to how people have been coming at me. I reacted, fell in it, out of anger. I made the announcement that I would be as selfish, and none caring as them.

The Lord did not allow me to dwell there, you see he has a plan now I either fall or stand up. Since I am in fellowship with him I am in a listening stage. well I’m learning how to listen. (Chuckles)

So I’m in this anger, and trying to read my bible because I know I don’t like this feeling it’s not me. I feel the pressure, as I’m reading scripture preparing for bible study I don’t understand anything I’m reading.

My phone alerts me of an email, it’s from my sister in Christ, she sent me an inspirational link to subscribe to, so I click on it. let me stop right there God doesn’t want us to dwell in anger, anger is like quicksand the longer you dwell in it the deeper it will suck you down (amen) The article was on Tearing Down Walls, How convenient of the Lord to use my sister almost Immediately.

At that moment I realized that God didn’t make me a physical Fighter, God didn’t make me an angry person. In the 36 years on this earth I built up walls, walls that would stop people from taking advantage of me. While I was behind those walls I started  to get confused, I didn’t know who I was or how I was supposed to feel. Brothers and Sisters I tell you don’t get yourself lost behind those walls. In one day, less than an hour, I was willing to place a brick called selfish, and a brick called inconsiderate and add it to the wall.

Brother’s and Sisters I encourage you to NOT dilute who God intended you to be James 1:27 says Religion that God Our Father accepts as pure faultless is this, to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

COMPASSION – LOVE – WHO EVER YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE no add -on. be your quietest thought revealed, allow yourself to bring that person out to be one in your skin with God. When we are born we are not born Alcoholics, we are not born prostitutes, we are not born drug addicts, we are not born murderers, we are not born with depression, we are born in joy. We are born as one of the sands, one of the stars that the lord promised Abraham  genesis 17:4-7. Excepting and concurring your insecurities. No More diluting Gods work, No more Hiding the God in you behind walls, he wants you to be happy, he gave you gifts out of love, not shame. If your sensitive that’s because he made you compassionate. I know I’m a cry baby ,cry at commercials, movies, the news, etc…

I encourage you to tear down those walls brick by brick, Allow the holy spirit to comfort you and hold you up. God Loves you as he made you.

Have a Blessed day until next time.

Follow him

This week I found myself quietly focused on who was focused on me. Who found me pleasing? or why wasn’t anyone acknowledging who I am, that I exist. My eyes showed me no one, but my heart looked at Jesus like you’re always there. I was taking him for granted, and losing focus with the word.

John 21:3:  This part of the scripture talks about how Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathaniel, James, John, and two other disciples went out to fish but didn’t catch anything. The next verse goes on to say Jesus called out to them “friends. haven’t you any fish?” and they answered him “no”. verse 6 goes to say that Jesus tells them to throw their net on the right side of the boat, when they did they weren’t able to carry the net in, because of the great amount of fish that was in it.it wa lo noticed that the net wasn’t damaged.
This story reminds me that  I alone isn’t going to get me where God plans for me to be. I need to allow God to lead and I follow him.
John 21:15  In this verse Jesus ask Simon Peter 3 times if he loved him, each time Peters response was you know I love you. Jesus’s first respond to Simon Peter was feed my lamb his second response was take care of my sheep,1 the third time Simon Peter was pretty shook up because this is 3 times he is asking and he says Lord you know all things I love you Jesus says feed my sheep. In this verse I see it like If you love God why not follow him, and then give people the word, his word. Share love (God)
John 21:20  Jesus tells Peter to follow him, He also lets Peter know how he would die. Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them and ask Jesus “Lord what about him?” and he replies if I want him to stay alive until I return what does it matter?  you must follow me.
Do you find yourself looking at someone elses blessings? or worried about what the next person is up to? we all do. Sometimes I find myself wondering, how much work the next  did to get the blessings that they have? Why is this person so lucky how many followers does this person have. From there it made me question, if I was working hard enough, it even made me question if I was doing too much. Reading this scripture I see the answer to that situation. I should not be worried about being pleasing to others, I should be focused on being pleasing to God. I should be on Jesus. We as human beings,  not only Christians seem to forget the importance of staying in the word, and focused on God. We look at our neighbors and what they have and what they may not have just to see if we have more or less than that person, Instead of where the truth is. We were not put here to be in competition with each other, we were put here for his purpose. so if we were focused on the word of God, and God’s work, when would we have time to worry about taking inventory of what others have.

I took focus on this today and am glad to say I avoided all kinds of drama today. When I had the oppertunity to watch someone fail, I took the time to break from the office squirl and encourage the person to do better, as God had did with me.
With that being said, brothers and sisters I encourage you to focus on God, to not worry about what is in the other window, to let go of the grass is greener syndrome. When we have our work in order, and he has put us where he wants us to be.  Adding someone elses journey on that path will just take us off path. so I encourage you to call his name when you may be looking in another Direction, to call his name when you may be focused on someone else’s blessing. You’ll be busy missing your blessing, you’ll be busy missing God guiding  you because you’re not following him, your n looking toward him. You’re busy following someone else. When we talk about role models let’s try to encourage our children to make Jesus their number one role model because we want our children to follow him. Amen

Thank you for reading this blog please don’t forget to follow. Until next time be blessed brothers and sisters.

The Book Of Mark (chapter 1)

The book of MARK, I love the fact that this book starts off with The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and then goes to baptism and repentance. Mark 1:12  Explaining the baptism of Jesus and then right after it states his Spirit sent him  into the wilderness were he was tempted. .  It reminds me of  when we start the path to God and began our walk, our journey. God has his purpose for us. We receive the holy spirit and began our path to righteousness.  At this moment I am going through the tempted stage. I’m  fighting the world trying to be more like Jesus. There goes my language falling into conversation, there goes my judging falling in to acceptance,  there goes my talking about people.  In this Modern world I Find myself trying to catch my mouth before i let it out. Those are my temptations.
Right after letting it go I find myself in prayer. Asking God for forgiveness of those sins. So I’m thinking I’m missing something should I pray before I let it out mouth. Asking God to give me strength to speak better, asking God to use his will to control how I handle people, asking God for strength to fight the temptation to be verbally abusive, or verbally inconsiderate, and/ or verbally judgmental. So these are the things I plan to work on this week. My faith leads me to believe I will concur this, because it is my temptation, and I feel horrible when I do it, so it can’t be good. Praying for a better way to speak and handle myself while I’m dealing with people treating my neighbors as I would want to be treated.
Mark 1:14  takes us to when Jesus started to gather his disciples I find this one very interesting because he’s on his journey as I am. We find ourselves always wanting to share when we’re on our journey that’s why I started this blog I wanted to share Gods  good news as Jesus did after his baptism, when you’re full of the spirit you just get so happy that you want to express the wonderful feeling that God has given you and you want to share that feeling with anyone who is willing to listen. The God in you (holy Spirit) is ready to praise and Share the love of God

Mark 1:17  Makes sense  Jesus says to Simon and Andrew come follow me and I will make you Fishers of Men. Amen. Sharing the Good news, now I’m ready to look at myself as a Simon and a Andrew, which we all should. when in the word you will share the word, Hoping that the Faithless becomes the Faithful. Could it be considered stingy to keep it to yourself. Like Simon and Andrew I would have dropped my net and followed Jesus too. As I type that last sentence my thoughts go back to before lent. I wasn’t willing to give up certain things (Cigarettes, Wine, Cussing) I can’t say I wasn’t willing  I didn’t try. in the middle of lent the taste was taken from me, but with out a fight I dropped my net, when Jesus said come.
Mark 1:21  Shows The Authority that Jesus uses To command an evil spirit out of a man who was at one of his teachings on the Sabbath in the synagogue in Capernaum. I have  learned in my journey that when the spirit takes over your body you speak with Authority. In the Bible Luke 1:41 says when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting the baby leaped in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:42 says in a loud voice she exclaimed blessed are you among women and blessed is the child you will bear. The amazing part is she was filled with the Holy Spirit, Even the baby in her womb was filled with the spirit. Now let me explain how  I see speaking with authority  I believe it as speaking in a clear and loud voice, with control, no fear, or  doubt. In this scripture (LUKE) Who’s  Authority? The authorization of God the Holy Spirit. who was with Elizabeth at that moment so that’s where the authority would come from in my view. Again these are my thoughts as I study The Book of Mark. I am not a pastor, I am not a minister I am just reading the word of God with my open heart and spirit and sharing out of faith and Love. Back to the scripture It goes on to show us that the evil spirit was well aware that Jesus could Destroy it and called Jesus THE HOLY ONE OF GOD. In a stern voice Jesus demands the Evil Spirit out of the man and it leaves with a violent shake and a loud shriek. As a little girl I remember having bad dreams about evil spirits and I remember my Grandmother telling me to call Jesus and to continue calling his name. It works I still do it when I get a heavy feeling in my sleep no matter what I call Jesus sometimes I can’t move my mouth and just recently I find myself just calling his name in my head it works. My faith in him removes the fear and whatever that maybe lurking.

Mark 1:29  Jesus healing Simon’s mother-in-law from fever. Depending on what Gospel your reading he touched her hand, helped her up, spoke to the fever. even though Mark, Matthew , and Luke says one of those three happened in their book I believed each happened. He touched her hand as he prayed over the fever and helped her up. and then she got up and waited on them as women would do with guess.

Mark 1:32  The sick and demon possessed was  brought to Jesus. He healed many with different diseases and drove out demons, not allowing them to speak because they knew he was God the son but it says they knew who he was and of course they would because he was there in the beginning John 1:1 in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God John 1:14 the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us we have seen his glory the glory of the one and only who came from the father full of grace and truth which is describing Jesus.

Mark 1:35  Shows us  Jesus wakes up early in the morning to go pray I’ve come accustom after celebrating Lent to praying early in the morning so I wake up 5 a.m. to go to work and I say my prayers by 5:30 before I leave the house at 6 a.m. I did not make the schedule my spirit found it a better time to do my prayers but what I learned is it is important to start your day off with prayer. If I don’t get on my knees and pray I don’t feel right that day and I probably had been in praise all day it’s just different when I take the time for God. please don’t get me wrong there it doesn’t matter when you pray just try to fit it in there daily drop that net. and walk with Jesus.

Mark 1:38  Simon comes and tells Jesus that everyone is looking for him and then Jesus replied let us go somewhere else to a nearby Village so I can preach there also. That is why I have come to like the book of Mark. Jesus is showing his disciples, hey I am here to preach God’s word now that we have helped these people here, let’s go find someone else who needs me to preach and drive out demons and heal the sick. let’s go that’s why I’m here. My thoughts: before getting in to this book for the blog, I only would use it to reference Faith. well I see the building of faith now. Jesus teaching his disciples preparing them in the word, and showing them what faith is. You can show someone better than you can tell them. It says here in my study guide that the people would have a Saturday the Sabbath day where Jewish men would gather to listen to a rabbi teach from the scriptures. so I take it he would have those days to get from one place to another before he would preach the truth the word in a synagogue on the Sabbath day. giving opportunity to meet, heal, bless , love, and teach on his way to the next place led by the holy spirit.

Mark 1:39  So he traveled throughout Galilee preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. In the flesh his purpose was to teach us the scripture and about faith, to remove all things that was out to get us, that invaded us, and we were fighting internally with emotions uncontrolled,  evil words, and evil spirits that dwell within us. I believe some people do have somethings in their system that just won’t allow the good to take over their lives, or won’t allow great things to come into their space. I’ve seen those kind of people and it’s sad and I pray for them. They don’t think that God loves them enough to remove all things that is not of him. They allow the thought of having  “bad luck” instead of having faith control their mental space. If anyone who is reading this is going through a rough season.

Mark 1:40  A man with Leprosy came to Jesus and begged him on his knees if you were willing,  you can make me clean. now leprosy was a disease that’s said in the those days  anybody with Leprosy was considered unclean and  if you touch that person you would be unclean

Mark 1:41  Filled with compassion Jesus reached out his hand and touched him and I am willing he said be cleaned immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured. That’s The Power of Jesus. He had no problem touching this man because Jesus is love. So why would he worry about touching this man, all he wanted was for this man to feel loved. I mention the compassion of Jesus. Jesus was not only curing the leprosy but the lonely also. This man was so lonely that he just wanted to be considered clean again so that he can be able to communicate. His family didn’t touch him they considered him unclean he could not be with a mate, he could not be with his family or his children if he had any. Think about the pain he must have felt the emptiness and loneliness. When Jesus healed him he told the man go and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, but don’t tell anyone.  of course he was going to go and Tell It on the Mountain, as we tend to  We are willing to tell our many blessings but Jesus told him to keep it down. Here’s a question that I will basically end this blog with. If you were living in his day, and Jesus said I’m going to heal you, but don’t tell anybody. Could you hold it to yourself?  Let me be honest, I’m going to be the first to answer that question I could not because to this day I Go Tell It on the Mountain any blessing that I received from God. Glorifying his name on it.

Brothers and sisters please be blessed I will return with the next blog on Mark 2nd chapter I find it easier to break the chapters down and just enjoy the word with you guys until then please Like, Share &  Follow and spread the good news.

be blessed brothers and sisters until next time
