Appreciation

Hey Everyone,

I’m hoping and praying that your day is going in a positive direction. I’m going to get right on in to it today I hope you don’t mind.

So I’m home way early from work. I came home hurt and Emotionally bruised and when I got home and told Abba he told me I was being pleasing to the wrong persons. My Lord gave me a job to do. So I’m going to be pleasing in that Job

I won’t go through what happen because I have been put back on my track by the Lord but what I will say is that God will sometimes show you who is paying attention they won’t align with what you’re saying.

People need to be appreciated you can’t go through praising those who don’t care and ignoring those who care eventually the person who cares will find someone to appreciate them. It’s organic of us to want the Gold star especially a hard worker.

I was reminded today that God is the one who validates our hard work not people and when you realize that people can’t stamp your validation card you can feel a great relief because some people are not of God and would never understand until God has shown them.

What I am saying is that Don’t allow someone who’s not spiritually where you are make you feel like your work isn’t appreciated or make you feel like your over exaggerating because God may have made you sensitive and emotional and that’s okay. This Woman of God appreciates you for moving forward in God, and appreciates you for who God has made you to be, she appreciates you for letting God use you and move you forward and be great and all you do.

God Bless you guys, I’ll see you later with scripture

ROMANS 12:1

Hey Everyone,

Okay let me introduce myself. my name is Wilhelmina Lundy and that’s pronounced Wil- a- mena  Lun- dee and I am a Woman of God/ Blogger/ Periscope Host/ online store owner but what I love the most is Woman of God I love sharing the word of the Lord. Romans 12:1

New International Version (NIV)

A Living Sacrifice

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Amen this scripture means so much to me, it’s why I am  writing this blog and why I do a lot of the things I do. I am honoring God through my works he is so awesome that I offer my body to him as a living sacrifice so that he can use me for his good.

The great thing that God has done was give us the opportunity to release ourselves and allow him to use us in our weakness. giving up everything we do in praise

As I am watching my sons begin a new journey in their  young lives If they didn’t know the Lord I would be worried, this year I’m excited for my sons they are going out into another  level and have nothing but great Giants to conquer.

I tell you the Lord wants you to allow him to conquer those Giants with you. Don’t let anxiety win, and grab your happy by the neck. What we have here on this Earth is time, it’s how you spend it. why not live it to the best. that’s how the Lord wants you to be striving for greatness and showing how great he is.

That doesn’t mean having the best Job based on society it means having the best Job to you that caters to your gifts,  don’t get me wrong if you want to be better at your profession he will work through you there too. but what ever it is, do it for the Lord. Do it in Praising make it great as and offering to the Lord.

Be joyful be Blessed

A New Commandment

Hey Everyone,

I’m coming to you guys from a different space today, My heart aches, The world lost many people do to hate. we are in a day that people are so judgmental and so full of anger.I am a firm believer that it is not our place to judge the lifestyle of others. It is only our job to follow the God.

So with this Blog I say

20110816-019 copy-Edit.jpg

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

As a christian my compassion is through the roof, I pray that those that were lost called on Jesus, And for those that were injured, I’m praying Jesus is at their bed sides because physically and mentally they are going to have to be prayed up. I don’t ask the question Why? because there is a reason for every season but I pray that the Lord has mercy in this Season.

I could say I wish that we all could just get along, but when I go through the bible there’s always some kind of season every hundred to four hundred years What I know is that God made away out of each and every one of them.

What I am aware of is that death isn’t so sad when you know the Lord and believe that Jesus died for your sins. Allowing you to go to the father washed in the Blood of Jesus, the fact that there was a horrible moment, when some was waiting scared and afraid they had an opportunity to call on God, I pray he comforted them, and for whatever reason and who’s ever season that this massacre fell on, it shifted all of us. As we continue to see hate in our mist. I Pray that the Lord comforts the family, friends and loved ones of the victims and that the Lord Comforts us as we cry with the family for the victims. They  are our neighbors

I Pray that you all are comforted and safe. In all of this pain. I pray that you stay on your purpose and remember to Love one another as God has Loved us

Be Blessed.

II Kings 22 The book of the Law found

Hey everyone,

I pray that your roads have been cleared and you were able to reach wonderful destinations in your journeys today. To God be the Glory. To my followers thanks for dropping in.  If this is your first time in my little corner of the world Welcome! Thank you for pressing the Visit button. and if you like what I have, please follow so that you can catch more of the word with me. As for all the readers of this blog if you agree with what I’m saying please click the like button if not let me know what you didn’t agree with I love hearing from you guys.

Who am I? good question. My name is Wilhelmina Lundy that’s pronounced Wil-a-mena Lun-dee and I am a Woman of God, a Blogger, an online business owner, also I dab a little on periscope where I host the Journey in Praise recap. that’s a lot but it’s okay! the Job I love the most is Woman of God. I love to share the word of the Lord and that’s what I do here. we’re going to talk about Jesus. AMEN

Now to the scripture. I was scratching my head wondering what would I do today and I said Lord it’s your lead. I grab the bible and came to II Kings chapter 22. The 22nd chapter in II Kings is about Josiah who was the son of David, Josiah had been King since he was 8 years old. now 18 years after Josiah had become king he sent his Secretary to go to the temple of the Lord with the high priest and collect the money that they collect at the door and pay the men who are doing the repairs on the temple and tell them don’t worry about the ware about of the money because they are acting faithfully.

King-Josiah

In the temple the high priest found the book of the Law. the secretary goes back to Josiah and says the money has been taking out of the temple and given to the workers. and  the high priest found this book in the temple. and the secretary started reading from the book. so when Josiah heard what was in the book he tore robe.  and He calls his High  Priest, his secretary , his secretaries son, his attendant, and the son of Micaiah and he tells them to go to the Lord and find out what this book is about? He knew  that the Lord showed be angry because their fathers had not obeyed the words of this book.

The Men that he sent, went to a Prophetess by the name of Huldah and she told them that the Lord said He is going to bring disaster to the Land and the people because they forsaken me and burned incense to other gods  and provoked him to anger. but Josiah because you humbled yourself  will  be buried in peace you and your fathers.

II Kings is before Jesus, in the old testament if you didn’t know. God is a forgiving  God because just as soon as Josiah found out about the Laws in the book he tore his robe and  wanted to know about the book he realized that he was being taught wrong. and wanted the fathers forgiveness and wanted to live be the Laws of the covenant. He wanted his people to be right with God.

Again we see how forgiving God is when it comes to us. We go through selfishness and everything else. We know what’s right and wrong by him and even now in this era I like to say the Lord see’s and understands our battles, it’s nothing he hasn’t seen before, so who else is there to go to for the answers to all things. but the God of all things. and he will forgive you when you humble yourself.

God bless you all.

Tomorrow we will go over the Josiah Renews the Covenant. chapter 23

Ok we left off at the close of chapter 6 in judges

Judges 7New International Version (NIV)

Gideon Defeats the Midianites

Early in the morning, Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) and all his men camped at the spring of Harod. The camp of Midian was north of them in the valley near the hill of Moreh. The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’ Now announce to the army, ‘Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.’” So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained.

But the Lord said to Gideon, “There are still too many men. Take them down to the water, and I will thin them out for you there. If I say, ‘This one shall go with you,’ he shall go; but if I say, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ he shall not go.”

So Gideon took the men down to the water. There the Lord told him, “Separate those who lap the water with their tongues as a dog laps from those who kneel down to drink.” Three hundred of them drank from cupped hands, lapping like dogs. All the rest got down on their knees to drink.

The Lord said to Gideon, “With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home.” So Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites home but kept the three hundred, who took over the provisions and trumpets of the others.

Now the camp of Midian lay below him in the valley. During that night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up, go down against the camp, because I am going to give it into your hands. 10 If you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah 11 and listen to what they are saying. Afterward, you will be encouraged to attack the camp.” So he and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the camp. 12 The Midianites, the Amalekites and all the other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, thick as locusts. Their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore.

13 Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”

14 His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”

15 When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” 16 Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.

17 “Watch me,” he told them. “Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do. 18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, then from all around the camp blow yours and shout, ‘For theLord and for Gideon.’”

19 Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guard. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars that were in their hands. 20 The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.

22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholahnear Tabbath. 23 Israelites from Naphtali, Asher and all Manasseh were called out, and they pursued the Midianites. 24 Gideon sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and seize the waters of the Jordan ahead of them as far as Beth Barah.”

GIDEON-SHOFARS-300-Warriors-701

Gideon was afraid but he knew that God was with him. The spirit of the Lord told Gideon he had too many men, the lord to Gideon to remove 2 groups of men. Then the Lord told Gideon to go down to the Midian camp and because it was now the time that the Lord would give Gideon the victory so the Lords spirit says to Gideon if your afraid take your servant Purah and listen to them you’ll be encouraged.

Even when God has a purpose for us and we are afraid he’ll reassure us to give the confidence just as he did Gideon.

When Gideon arrived down to the camp he eased dropped on the Midian soldiers he heard one of the men telling the other about a dream he had where a barley Bread came rolling down the hill and struck the tent with such force.

The friend interpret the dream telling the man what that his dream meant that God will give the whole camp to Gideon’s hand, When Gideon heard this he was confident, he worshiped God.

Gideon made it back to the camp and gathered his men , he told them to follow him when he blows the trumpet. when the Trumpets sounded God made the Midianites to turn their swords against each other

The army ran but Gideon sent message to the Israelites to stop them.  They captured the leaders Oreb was killed at Rock Oreb and Zeleb was killed at the winepress Zeleb.

When your about to go on a Journey that scares you think of Gideon anything that God sees as good for you will be accomplished. Through faith and obedience which was taught here through Gideon, he obeyed the Lord and built up an altar to God after broke down the Baal and Ash rah idols and he gained his faith as God showed him his power with the dew and the fleece on the threshing floor and here we are shown what would come by following the Lords word and having faith. You will conquer.

God Bless you.

for those who do not know who I am, I am Wilhelmina Lundy that’s pronounced Wil-a-mena Lun-dee and I am a woman of God, a blogger, an online business owner, wewin sister and a periscope broadcaster @Wilhelmina Lundy where I discuss the weekly lesson in the scripture and Journey in praise. While all those hats are so lovely the best is woman of God, Because boy oh boy how I love to serve the Lord. He brings me so much Joy. welcome to my corner of wordpress. ok now lets ;continue in Judges we are on Gideon’s journey in chapter 6 If you didn’t catch the previous blog.

Judges 6:36-40New International Version (NIV)

36 Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised— 37 look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will knowthat you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.” 38 And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water.

39 Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but this time make the fleece dry and let the ground be covered with dew.” 40 That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.

Captive to Conqueror4 I  was always looking for a sign, always saying “If God just showed me a sign. then I would do this Idea I have” sometimes the sign is the Idea.

Gideon says ok Lord if it’s really me, If I’m going to be the one who saves Israel then I’m going to lay this wool fleece down on the threshing floor, and if there is dew only on the wool then I’ll know It’s me. Now lets remember we learned yesterday that Gideon was raised believing in idle gods, so the one and only God, the God of his forefathers was now calling on him.

The next morning only the wool had dew on it. ok now, alright Lord now your sure it me, so Gideon says don’t get mad but let me ask one more thing , this time dry the fleece and put the dew on the threshing floor.

God has no problem telling us what he wants. we have a problem excepting that someone thinks we’re that great, that we can achieve this important task that we are given, with the gifts that he made us special for.

this passage also shows us that God  will never stop showing us that he is here, He has our back. He answered Gideon’s request, to build his faith in God. Remember just the day before Gideon was praising Ba’al.

For the task at hand Gideon needed faith in the Lord God, to be able to allow the Lords spirit to strengthen him where he was weak. To accomplish the task at hand. God wanted to use Gideon, and Gideon wanted to be used.

Faith

Praise God I hope you enjoyed the word!!! all Praise to the Almighty God. Don’t forget to be encouraged to do your best at everything you do and have faith that God will strengthen you where you are weak. God Bless you

Judges 6:25 -35

Hey everyone,

I hope this Blog has reached you all in happy scrolling and you all are having a wonderful hump day. first things first to my followers; Hey there everyone welcome back you all are appreciated thank you for clicking the visit button and continuing to read more, Praise God. If this is your first time on my little corner of word press Thanks a million for clicking the button. If you like what you read please follow ,and to everyone if you are in agreement with the word please like and comment I love hearing from you guys.

Who am I? I am Wilhelmina Lundy that’s pronounced Wil- a-mena Lun-dee and I am a Woman of God, a Blogger, an online business owner, and a periscope broadcaster.and I love it yes that’s a lot of hats. The hat that I love the best is woman of God If you haven’t noticed yet I love Jesus.

Now that the intro is done, let’s get into scripture I have been studying the book of Judges I can’t exactly remember how I got to Judges but I am very excited about the things I have learned. At this point I feel like I am unsure some times, like Gideon saying ok Lord if it’s really you do this, show me that, but we will get in to that later.

Judges 6:25-35New International Version (NIV)

25 That same night the Lord said to him, “Take the second bull from your father’s herd, the one seven years old.[a] Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole[b] beside it.26 Then build a proper kind of[c] altar to the Lord your God on the top of this height. Using the wood of the Asherah pole that you cut down, offer the second[d] bull as a burnt offering.”

27 So Gideon took ten of his servants and did as the Lord told him. But because he was afraid of his family and the townspeople, he did it at night rather than in the daytime.

28 In the morning when the people of the town got up, there was Baal’s altar, demolished, with the Asherah pole beside it cut down and the second bull sacrificed on the newly built altar!

29 They asked each other, “Who did this?”

When they carefully investigated, they were told, “Gideon son of Joash did it.”

30 The people of the town demanded of Joash, “Bring out your son. He must die, because he has broken down Baal’s altar and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.”

31 But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, “Are you going to plead Baal’s cause? Are you trying to save him? Whoever fights for him shall be put to death by morning! If Baal really is a god, he can defend himself when someone breaks down his altar.” 32 So because Gideon broke down Baal’s altar, they gave him the name Jerub-Baal[e] that day, saying, “Let Baal contend with him.”

33 Now all the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoplesjoined forces and crossed over the Jordan and camped in the Valley of Jezreel. 34 Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Gideon, and he blew a trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him. 35 He sent messengers throughout Manasseh, calling them to arms, and also into Asher, Zebulun and Naphtali, so that they too went up to meet them

Captive to Conqueror4

Now Gideon was a farmer, his Family were Israelite’s but prayed to false gods Baal and asherah. at this time Midianites were oppressing Israel the Midian army would come and sweep through the  crops and the Israelite’s would hardly have a harvest left. The Lord’s angel said to Gideon that he will raise him against the Midianites. Gideon was like not us uh no Lord, we are weak, But God.

Let me walk you through this, Gideon is the 5th Judge he came after Deborah and Barak. Before Gideon could go to the next level the spirit of the Lord told  him to Tear down his fathers Alter to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole, then the Angel of the Lord tells him to build a proper Alter to the Lord God ,Higher. Using the wood from the Asherah pole. Also The spirit of the Lord told him to offer the second  bull as burnt offerings. When the towns people saw this. (I love this part) they were angry and said to Gideons father: where is your son? he must die for breaking down the alter, so Gideons dad says to them If Baal has a problem let him come and handle it he should be able to defend himself. who ever fights for him shall be put to death. Everyone backed off and called Gideon Jerub baal and said let baal deal with him.

After building the Alter to God and showing his faithfulness The spirit of the Lord came on to Gideon and he Blew his trumpet.

Listen, this is beautiful we can’t just run and do what God wants us to do. He first prepares us so that our hearts and praise is right, Gideon couldn’t go to battle and have an Alter and a pole dedicated to false Gods in his backyard. The Lord wasn’t going to work with that. The Lord God is the only one worthy of High praises. So he said Gideon this is what your going to do and Gideon did it. because he knew that only the Lord can bring them out of the oppression. As he had down many times before

when Gideon sounded the trumpet thru the spirit of the Lord their came his back up now Gideon had the beginning of a strong Army.

Let me take this moment to talk to you guys. When we walk with God we are strong and mighty because the spirit of the Lord is with us. there isn’t any idolizing so basicly you can’t Idolize on what you may have went through as a child, teen or young adult. Now yes some of us have had some really crappy childhoods, but I’m going to tell you something my aunt said to me when I was thirteen. God bless the child that’s got her own, baby you down seen so many downs, you don’t have no where else to go but up.you can’t allow something to have such a control over you that it runs your life.

You can’t not smile and be grateful for your BRAND NEW DAY. to try again, and push hard. I have said this before try something new, and you know what ? when everything in side is giving you cons, then your the Pro, so just do it. You are the reason You were made to be Great you are special. Forget what anyone else says. yeah it’s hard. People are the seen, in the now. God you can’t see. If you believe in Ghost, why isn’t God with you? Why can’t you have his spirit cheering you on?  smiling down on you as you work hard on being great. Take a pottery class, write a blog, vocal lesson start a YouTube channel create a hat every day. and Praise God it will be a wonderful hat  because the spirit of the Lord helped you create it.

I hope you enjoyed the beginning of Gideon one of Gods Judges tomorrow we will be in verse 36-40. please google or open your bible and enjoy the book of Judges.

If there is anyone out there looking for the Lord, he has been waiting for you, Confess with your mouth and your heart that Jesus died for your sins, that Jesus is the Son Of The Living God.
