Ezekiel Chapter 8 Idolatry in the temple

Verse 1-4

Ezekiel starts off explaining to us that in the 6th year, in the 6th month on the fifth day , he was sitting with the elders of Judah. The hand of the sovereign Lord came on him. Ezekiel said he looked and he saw a figure of a man, it appeared to be fire from the waist down, and up his appearance was glowing like metal. Ezekiel said that the figure stretched out his hand and took him (Ezekiel) by the hair. He says, the spirit lifted him up between the heavens, and Earth and in visions of God he took him to Jerusalem. The spirit took him to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes to jealousy stood. and there before him (Ezekiel) was the glory of the God of Israel. Ezekiel says that he was just the same as in his vision.

I am learning when God wants you, he calls you, and puts you right in front of what he wants of you. I could only Imagine being so upright and committed to your walk with God that he shows himself. How many of you are waiting for that moment? I know I am.

verse 5-11

Ezekiel says the Lord says to him. “Son of man , look toward the north.” Ezekiel says he looked and he saw the idol of jealousy in the entrance of the gate. He says that the Lord said to him “Son of man do you see what they are doing here – the utterly detestable things the house of Israel is doing here, things that will drive me far from my sanctuary? but you will see things that are even more detestable”

Then the Lord brought him to the entrance to the court. Ezekiel says he say a hole in the wall, and the Lord told him to dig in the wall and he dug into the wall in saw a doorway there. The Lord told Ezekiel to go into the door and see the wicked and detestable things that they are doing. Ezekiel says he went in and say all kinds of crawling things and detestable animals all the idols of the house of Israel. In  front of the idols were all the elders of Israel, and Jaazaniah son of shaphan was standing among them. Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising.

My God, the Lord showed Ezekiel what was going on.  Before the Lord sends us to do something he will show us. There are no surprise when you are walking with the Lord. he will warn you of the dangers, the troubles, and the blessing if you build your relationship and allow yourself to live in the spirit and not the flesh. Our flesh will tell us many things that are not of God and it will take away what God gives us organically.

verse 12-15

The Lord said to Ezekiel “Have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, Each at the shrine of his own idol? ‘They say the Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.'” the Lord says to Ezekiel “You will see them doing things even more detestable.” Ezekiel says then the Lord brought him to the entrance to the north gate of the house of the Lord, and he saw the women sitting there, mourning for Tammuz. the Lord said to Ezekiel ” Do you see this son of man? You will see things even more detestable than this.”

The Lord showed Ezekiel what the people of Israel was doing. They were stating that the Lord wasn’t there for them. We sometimes do that; when we are worrying about getting more money, and want the new car or whatever new thing that comes out. We start getting anxious about how to get it. We are doing just as the people of Israel; Idolizing things, and money. I’m not saying that you can’t want for things, I’m saying you should want for God more than you want for things.

verse 16-18

The Lord then brought Ezekiel to the inner court of the house of the Lord, and their at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar were about 25 men. With there backs toward the temple and there faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the son of the east. The Lord said to Ezekiel ” Have you seen this Son of man? Is it trivial matter for the house of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the Land with violence and continually provoke me to anger? Look at them putting the branch to their nose! Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.”

We can’t sit on the fence and think it will not anger God. we can’t move toward the things in this land and worship the things that we have in our households and think God is going to be okay. You may ask, what we can’t have nice things? Yes ! you can have nice things but don’t base the thread of who you are on what you have. The thread of who you are should be based on who you serve! God say’s this is the time for us to be faithful to our relationships with him, now is the time to release the spirit with in, and serve in our purpose. best put by the Jones family he wants it all

Now for the Important part If you are looking to begin your relationship with the sovereign God google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord,  and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Get in to the word, start a prayer life and build your relationship with the Soveriegn God.

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of the Most High Sovereign God. There is nothing better than being a servant of the Almighty. The ways that I serve the Lord is this blog, and the Journey In Praise blog and broadcast. If you are on Periscope you can catch the broadcast Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7pm. If you don’t have Periscope you can catch the up and view the videos at @journeyinpraise on YouTube and FaceBook. Okay let’s get in to the word

Ezekiel Chapter 6

verse 1-7

The Lord says Ezekiel, to set his face against the mountains of Israel and; Prophesy against them and say:  The Sovereign Lord says that he will bring a sword against you and destroy your high places. You alters and incense alters will be demolished. The Lord says to tell Israel that he will slay the people in front of their idols. your people will fall slain and know that I am Lord.

 verse 8- 10

The Lord says that he will spare some, and some will escape the land.  When Israel is scattered among the land, and the nations. Those who escaped will remember the Lord. The Lord says; how I have been grieved  by your adulterous hearts which have turned away from me, and by their eyes which lusted after their Idols. They will loathe (dislike) them selves for the evil they have done. They will know I am Lord , I did not threaten them in vain to bring this calamity on them

In these verses we learned that the Lord sends the warning ing Ezekiel’s Prophesy letting Israel know all the things that will come to the. The Lord also lets them know why. While reading I thought about all that we do now . If your smart phone or wi-fi no-longer works what would you do? are we Idolizing those things, putting them before God. Even as I write this blog I think a couple of times I checked my phone, For what? I don’t know. what I do know is through this lesson I know, that I need to ask God to make me less dependant on the things that are not of him.

verse 11-14

In these verse The Lord tell Ezekiel to tell Israel that the will fall from, the sword, plague ,and famine. those that are close will die from the sword, those that are far away will die from the plague and those that survives will suffer from famine. the Lord says that he will make the land that they live a waste.

Just think God gave them 390 years to get their stuff together. we are lucky that we have Jesus christ who took on the suffering for us. I’m sure looking outside or even scrolling Facebook you are seeing less of the Lord everyday. Lets not be like Israel lets take note of the warning, so that we may see the blessing and not the famine

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of the most high sovereign God, there is nothing like being a servant of the Lord. Some of the ways that I serve the Lord is this blog, but also the Journey In Praise Blog and Broadcast on periscope @WilhelminaLundy is the handle and if you don’t have periscope you can find me on FaceBook or YouTube @JourneyInPraise this is where I share the lessons that I may have learned while writing the blog, reading the word, or reading a book, maybe even a dream. What ever it is , it came from God. okay let’s get in to the word.

Ezekiel Chapter 5

verse 1-4

The Lord tells Ezekiel to take a sharp sword, use it as a barber’s blade and shave his head and beard. He then says to Ezekiel, to take a set of scales and divide up the hair. When the day of the siege comes to an end, burn a third of the hair with fire in the city, and scatter a third to the wind. the Lord says that he will pursue them with drawn swords. He tells Ezekiel to take a few strands of hair and tuck them away in his garment, and take a few and throw them in to the fire and burn them up, the Lord says a fire will spread from there to the whole house of Israel.

my, my,my this has me wondering what next, The shaving of the head and beard is what was done at the end of a vow. Let’s move on.

verse 5-12

This is what the Sovereign said  This is Jerusalem which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her, yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the countries around her. she has rejected my laws and not followed my decrees. this is the message Ezekiel is to give to Israel.

The Lord says I myself is against you Jerusalem, and I will inflect punishment on you insight of the nations. Because of all your Idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again. Therefor in your midst fathers will eat there children and children will eat their fathers. I will inflict punishment on you and scatter your survivors to the winds. As surely as I live declares the Lord because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will withdraw my favor; I will not look on you with pity or spare you. A third of your people will die of plague or perish by famine inside; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword

I went back to Ezekiel 5:2:4 remember when he told Ezekiel to burn the hair the same amount of hair and the same things done the hair represented the people of Israel . lets keep going.

verse 13-17

Then my anger will cease and my wrath against them will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I have spent my wrath against them they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.

I will make you a ruin and a reproach among nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by.you will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror

The Lords word continues to  discribe that he will do to Israel I encourage you to read this chapter in the spirit . this chapter has made me appreciate that the punishment for Israel would be the first but most important the last. when I look at society now and how things are Idolized I am realizing that we are lucky that the Lord is not a man that he should lie. Because I’m sure he is P.O not very happy.

Now for the Important part, If you are looking for salvation google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and Confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Enjoy a wonderful relationship with the Sovereign Lord God Bless you

Ezekiel Chapter 4: Visions of sin and judgement

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy, and I am a servant of the most high sovereign God. There is nothing like serving such and amazing God. The ways that I serve God is this blog and the Journey In Praise Blog and Broadcast. You can find me on periscope Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @WilhelminaLundy and that is the Journey In Praise broadcast if you don’t have periscope you can catch the broadcast on YouTube or the Facebook page @journeyinpraise. Okay enough of the intro let’s get in to the word.

Ezekiel Chapther 4

verse 1-8

The Lord says to Ezekiel to take a clay tablet and draw Jerusalem on it. the Lord then tells him to build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it. He then tells him to take an iron pan, and place it as an iron wall between you and the city to  turn his face toward it. the Lord tells Ezekiel that Jerusalem will be under siege and he shall besiege it (forces them to surrender) . He then tells Ezekiel that this will be a sign to Israel.

The Lord then tells Ezekiel to lie down on his left side, and take on the sin of Israel. the Lord tells Ezekiel that he was to bear sin  for the number of days that he was on his side. He says to Ezekiel I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. Ezekiel would be on his side and bear their sin for 390days. The Lord tells Ezekiel after the 390days is over then your going to lay on your right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah, the Lord tells him that he is assigned 40days a day for each year. The Lord tells him to turn his face toward Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. The Lord tells him  that he will tie him up with ropes so that he can’t turn from side to side until he has finished the days of his siege.

As we begin the next stage of our assignments God puts us in the place to know exactly what we need to know had Ezekiel not laid on his side for the days of their years of sin he would not be able to understand what God wanted him to speak on. The Lord says to Ezekiel I will tie you with ropes so that you won’t change sides. The Lord will assist us to do the things that we need to he will keep us so that we can walk right when he has an assignment on our life.

verse 9-17

The Lord gave Ezekiel certain grain and beans to eat for the days that he laid on his sides he told Ezekiel to make bread out of them and that would be what he ate for the 390 days on his side. The Lord told him to weigh out 20 shekels of food to eat each day, and to eat them at a set time. He also tells Ezekiel to measure out a sixth of 5.5 quarts of water and drink each day at a set time. The Lord tells Ezekiel to eat the food as he would a barley cake; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement (waste) for fuel. The Lord says in this way the people , of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them.

Then Ezekiel said, not so,Sovereign Lord! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No unclean meat has ever entered my mouth.

The Lord says to him Very well then I will let you bake your bread over cow manure instead of human excrement. The Lord says to Ezekiel Son of man, I will cut off the food supply in Jerusalem. The people, will eat rationed food in anxiety and drink rationed water in despair, for food and water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of their sin.

Do you remember when I said that the Lord, takes us through things so that we can teach and show others. Sometimes the Lord will put us through things,so that we can bring people back from that thing. In this chapter Ezekiel tells us that the Lord had him lay on his side a day for each year of sin. 390 days that had to be painful, I’m sure as painful as the sin of those 390 years. Then the Lord had Ezekiel go through eating differently to prepare for the day when he cuts of the food supply. Working for the Lord, isn’t always easy but God always has a reason and he builds us up for understand and being able to relate to the people that he will send us to. That’s why our struggles are our lessons. There’s a blessings in every lesson.

Now for the Important part if you are looking for salvation,  google, or download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Get in to the word and Enjoy a wonderful relationship with the Sovereign God

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy, and I am a servant of the Almighty. There is nothing better, than being a servant of such an amazing God. If you don’t have periscope you can find the videos on the @journeyinpraise FaceBook page or YouTube channel, where the videos are uploaded. I pray that you receive a blessing from the Broadcast, it is based on the lesson on my Journey. Now let’s get in to the word!!!!

Ezekiel Chapter 3

verse 1-9

Ezekiel is continuing from chapter 2 (scroll down to 10/21 post). Ezekiel says God says son of man eat this scroll, then go speak to the house of Israel. Ezekiel opens his mouth and the Almighty feeds him the scroll, the Lord tells him to eat the scroll and fill his stomach with it. Ezekiel ate the scroll and says it taste as sweet as honey.

Ezekiel says then God says Son of man go to the house of Israel and speak my words to them. he says God says to him you are not being sent to a people of obscured (unknown) speech, and difficult language, but to the house os Israel. Not to many people of obscured speech, and diffcult language, whose words you cannot understand. the Lord says Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you. But the house of Israel are not willing to listen to you, because they are not willing to listen to me. The Lord says to Ezekiel that the whole house of Israel is harden, and obstinate ( stubborn refusing to change your opinion)  but I will make you unyielding and as harden as they are. I will make your forehead like the hardest stone, harder than flint. he says do not be afraid of them, or terrified by them though they are a rebellious house.

Praise God! did ya’ll read that, The Lord said go ahead and eat these words, and fill up with what I need you to tell them. In other words digest, nurture, chew and swallow. you know it’s like when you eat, and your body takes in the vitamins that it needs to survive. That’s how we need to eat the words of the Lord, that it becomes apart of us. Praise God! He says go on ahead, to the house of Israel, and I’m going to make you hard  like them. The Lord will make it so that you won’t change your words, or back down. He won’t send us any where, without the strength to deal with who we have to deal with. We just can’t be fearful or terrified of who they are, or what they say out their mouths. once we are fearful, where does our faith go. ( I’m just gonna, leave that right there.)

verse 10-15

Ezekiel says that the Lord says to him, Son of man  listen carefully, and take these words to heart. Go now to the countrymen in exile, and speak to them. Tell them this is what the sovereign Lord says whether they chose to listen or not.

Ezekiel says then the spirit lifted him up, and he heard behind him a loud rumbling sound, It was the sound of the beings wings rubbing together, and the sound of the wheels beside them, a loud rumbling. Ezekiel says then the spirit lifted him up, and took him, and his spirit was bitter and angry, with the strong hand of the Lord upon him.

Ezekiel begins to tell us about the exiles, he sat among the ones who lived at the Tel abib near the kebar River. he sat with them for seven days overwhelmed.

when Ezekiel speaks of feeling bitter and angry it’s because he felt the sin, and attitudes of the exile his spirit was overwhelmed and he need to just pray and digest the words from God and the assignment at hand. Sometimes are assignments can scare us. Lets remember Jesus in the Gethsemane garden, Jesus prayed; my father, if it’s possible, may this cup be taken from me, not my will, but your will be done. (If it’s your will) Hallelujah! Jesus had a moment. After realizing what was ahead of him Ezekiel Had moment hallelujah, My God from Zion.

verse 16-19

warning to Israel

Ezekiel says at the end of the seven days the Lord came to him, he tells him that he has made him the watchman for Israel, The lord tells him to hear his words and speak and give them warning for him. The Lord says to Ezekiel when I say tell the wicked man that he will die for his sin, and you don’t tell him , his blood is on your hands. The Lord also says, If you give him the warning, and he doesn’t listen, he will die of sin, but you will be saved.

Jesus! the Lord is saying if we don’t do what we are told then comes the consequences. If I don’t write the blog then someone misses the message. If my walk it out sister Tiffany, doesn’t take her assignment serious someone will miss prayer, and the word that God gives her. If who ever doesn’t follow the warning, he will die for his sin. I’m not going to touch on accountability. What I will say is,  if we are not obedient, then we will start to feel conviction.

verse 20-23

The Lord says that if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and the He sends a warning or a block and they take it, they will die. The Lord tells Ezekiel since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things that the wicked man did , will not be remembered and the Lord says to Ezekiel he will be held accountable for his blood. The Lord says to Ezekiel If you do warn the wicked man and he listens then he will live, and you will have saved yourself.

Ezekiel says the hand of the Lord was on him there,he told Ezekiel to get up and go out to the plain, and he will speak to him. Ezekiel says he got up and went to plain and the Glory of the Lord was standing there, and he fell to his face.

The Lord had to explain to Ezekiel how serious his assignment was. You can’t just sit on it we have to take heed to our assignment, not to sit on it. when you are on assignment to serve, a soul is at risk and the Heavenly father gives you the assignment to speak his words so that there hearts can open toward the Lord. it’s our job to obey and open our mouths after that, It’s up to them. but if we don’t say anything then we are not obedient.

verse 24-27 this is what the

The Lord tells Ezekiel to go into his house, and shut himself inside, he tells him, you will be tied with ropes so that you can not go out among the people. The Lord tells him I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth, so that you will be silent, and unable to rebuke them, they are a rebellious house. The Lord says to Ezekiel when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you will say to them this is what the sovereign Lord says, who ever listen , let him listen, and whoever refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious house.

Glory to God! he says they will tie you with ropes, have you against the wall, and the Lord will keep your mouth shut up untill the time that comes for you to speak. When you speak the word and the will of God some will listen and some won’t because this is a rebellious house. No matter where he sends us to speak

Now for the Important part, If you are looking for salvation google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Enjoy a wonderful relationship with the Sovereign God.

God Bless You!

My Name is Wilhelmina Lundy ,and I am a servant of God. There is nothing better than to serve such a sovereign God, Praise the Lord. The ways that I serve the Lord is by this blog, and Journey In Praise. Journey In Praise is in Praise blog and now on Periscope Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 7PM EST. If you do not have Periscope the segment is posted on the FaceBook page @journeyinpage. Journey In Praise is focused on lessons learned, while writing the From Sinner To Saint Blog, or just a scripture that the spirit leads me to. Ok let’s get in to the word of God.

Ezekiel Chapter 2

verse 1-8

Ezekiel’s call

He said “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.” As he spoke the spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and I heard  him speaking to me. He said: “Son of man, I am standing you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their fathers have been in revolt (rise up) against me to this very day. the spirit said the people who I am sending to you are stubborn and refusing to change. Say to them, this is what the  Sovereign Lord says. and whether they listen or not they will know that a prophet of the Lord was among them. And you son of man don’t be afraid of them or what comes pout their mouth. Do not be afraid , though briers and thorns are all around you and live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or terrified by them, they are a rebellious house. you must speak my words to them whether they listen or not, because they are rebellious. but you listen my son Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your  mouthe and eat what I give you.

Glory to God! hallelujah, The Lord tells Elijah that he will send him to a place that is full of rebellious people, people who are running around doing things that are not of God. Robbing , stealing, cussing, and allowing themselves to do all things that leads to emptiness. He says don’t be afraid son of man, and don’t allow them to scare you. You tell them what I have to say whether they listen or not. open your mouth and eat what I give you. Hallelujah! God will send you some where and you may be afraid, you may be confused, the people may even not willing to listen. But the Lord says, speak his words any way. Hallelujah! They will hear, just speak his words, Glory to God. It reminds me ,of when I started  this blog, and I said to the Lord; Lord who’s going to read this, and he said just write. I start the blog every day asking the Lord to speak through me, use me to teach and show his children, to uplift and enlighten my people, and even when I think that some one might not want to know, God has someone waiting for the word.

verse 9,10

Ezekiel says he looked and say a hand with a scroll in it reaching out to him, the Lord unrolled the scroll in front of him on both sides were written words of lament, mourning, and woe (all these words mean grief and sorrow)

Glory to God! I tell you my people if the Lord tells you that you can do something, trust and believe. We have learned from Job, that he has already put it in us. We have learned from Esther, and Daniel that we need to fast, and pray because he has already cleared the way. He has already satisfied the hunger of the lion in the den. Glory to God. Hallelujah!!!!

Ezekiel Chapter 1

verse 1-9

Ezekiel call and commission

Ezekiel begins the chapter saying; when he was in his thirtieth year of life, on the fifth day, of the fourth month he was by the Kebar river , the heavens opened up and he saw visions of God. The time was also the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s exile. the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of Babylonians, there the hand of the lord was upon him.

Ezekiel says; I looked, and saw a wind storm coming out of the north, an immense cloud was flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire, looked like glowing metal, and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. They looked like a man, but each of them had four faces ,and four wings. Their legs were straight; their feet were like a calf and gleamed like burnish bronze, under their wings they had hands of a man. All four of them had faces and wings, and their wings touched. Each one went straight ahead, and they did not turn as they moved.

As I am reading the description of Ezekiel’s vision, I automatically went back to Daniel chapter 10:5. In his vision, he was by the bank of the Tigris river, he saw a vision of a man in white linen, and a gold belt. his face like lightning his eyes like flaming torches. In the book of Job it says that God spoke to Job from the storm. Ezekiel was about to get a message from God.

verse 10-28

Ezekiel begins to describe the faces of the creatures. he says that one of them had a face of a man, one the face of an ox, one of a lion, and one an eagle.(the amplified bible says no matter which way the turned they had the face of a man in front.)  the face of the lion was on the right side and the face of the ox on the left, all four had the face of the eagle at the back of their head. their wings were stretched upward. Ezekiel says that each creature hadezekiel-chapter-1 two wings one touching the wing of another being and two wings covering its body ( here’s a visual I found for you guys to the right) and each went straight forward, where ever the spirit was about to go, they went without turning their bodies . Among the living beings, was something that looked like burning coals of fire. like torches moving back and forth amung the beings. The fire was bright and lightning was flashing, the beings moved rapidly back and forth like the flashes of lightning. Ezekiel says that when he looked at the beings he saw a wheel on the ground beside each of thhqdefault-2e four, the wheels sparkled like chrysolite, and the four of them looked alike.each was like a wheel intersecting each other (see the picture on the left) the wheels also did not turn.

The book of Ezekiel says; when the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved, and when they rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. where ever the spirit would go, they would go. it says above there heads was what looked like an expanse.20121120-161130 ( see photo to the left) the NIV Bible says it was sparkling like ice, and awesome, the being wings were stretched out one toward the other under the expanse, and each had two wings covering the body. Ezekiel says when the beings moved their wings sounded like rushing water, like the sound of an army. when they stood still they lowered there wings. Then there came a voice over their heads as they stood with lowered wings, in the expanse was what looked like a throne of sapphire, and high above was a figure like a man. Ezekiel says that from his waist up he looked like glowing metal ( Daniel called it burnished bronze : polished bronze) and from there down he looked like fire and a brilliant light surrounded him. this was the appearance of glory, Ezekiel says he fell facedown, and heard the voice of one speak.

As I am writing this I am blown away. The Ox, the Lion, and The eagle lets break this down when we were in Job and God was speaking ( if you are new scroll down to Job 38) the Ox, I said Lord God make me a servant like the ox allow me to till the ground and bring in harvest of grain for you Lord God. the ox is a faithful servant (Job 39:9). The Lion, Lord give me hunger of a lion. God made the lions hunger strong, to match his strength and only God can satisfy it (Job 38: 39) The eagle allow me to have the sight of the eagle seeing anything that may try to harm,my faith or tempt my righteousness (Job 39:27). Glory to God Thank you Lord for you Holy Order Had we note done the bible study in obedience we would not know this Hallelujah!!!!!!

Job Recap

In Job we learned that the enemy has to get permission from God to test and try us. That even then God has so much faith in us, that he will allow the test. I have learned in this book, that even though things aren’t looking right in the natural, we must look forward in the spirit. We must look at who our creator is, and what he is capable of. Just that act lets us know, that we serve a God that is ruler over everything.

While reading the book of Job, we learned that the storms of life that comes our way, was put in place for us to Teach the next person. Through Job many learned that affliction doesn’t always come from sin. We learned that God will never leave our side.

In the book of Job we learn that when it’s time, God will come and correct us and speak to us. He will tell us what we need to know to get to the next level, and then he will set us up and bring us out. We learned that we need to be servants like an ox willing to till the ground and bring forth the grain, staying by his manger at night, Let’s do the heavy work, let’s be strong in his word.

We have learned from Job to look at the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10 and start to spiritually build it like the Armor of a Leviathan, God says that his back had rows of shields that was tightly sealed that no air could come through. That our tongue sends an anointing fire,  like the fire that the Leviathan breaths. Glory to God! That the knowledge of the word of God that comes through us is as sharp as the teeth of the Leviathan.

And last but not least when we pray for others God restores us in unselfishness.

Now for the important part. If you are in need of Salvation. google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9, and confess with your mouth, and believe with your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross, and God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. get yourself in a bible based church and enjoy you relationship with the Sovereign God.

Job Chapter 42

verse 1-6

Then Job replied to the Lord:

I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. You asked, who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge? Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. You said, listen now and I will speak; and you shall answer me. My ears have heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust in ashes.

Job repents of the things that he said, concerning Gods plan and order. He repents for speaking of things that he knew nothing about. We have to be prepared to repent, when we go to God in our frustrations. That’s the reason why when we pray, we pray for the known and unknown. Saying Lord forgive me, if I insulted you, or did something  against without knowledge.

Epilogue

verse 7-11

After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Teminate, ” I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has. So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and  sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has. So Eliphaz the Teminite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer. After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought upon him , and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.

Glory to God! God hears his servants, and accepts the prayers of his servants. After all that was said, Job was restored after praying for his friends. Sometimes when we go through test, that is the exact thing that brings us forth unselfish prayer. Asking God, to have mercy on those that know not what they do. when I was going through a storm, that was the very thing what I learned. I did not hear from the Father until I began praying for those that needed him.  As a servant it is our jobs to intercess for those that are not walking with Christ.

verse 12-16

The Lord blessed the latter part of Jobs life more than the first. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six Thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. And he also had seven sons and three daughters. The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. No where in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance with their brothers, After this Job livid a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. and so he died old and full of years.

Glory to God! Job who once said,God would not allow a man to see his descendants gain his fortune. God allowed Job to see to the fourth generation. Bless the Lord that he is powerful. Bless the Lord that his word allowed his servant Double, Double in life years, family, and property, for being faithful. we learned some great lessons in this book. stay tuned for tomorrows blogs where we will go over those lessons.

Now for the important part, if you are in need of Salvation. Google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9. Confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross, and God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. find a bible based church and began your relationship with the Almighty Sovereign God.
