Lets get in to the word of God!

Matthew Chapter 23

Verse 1 – 12

Jesus Judges the Pharisees and the Teachers of the law

The word says then Jesus spoke to multitudes and his disciples saying;

Scribes and pharisees sit in Moses seat.

Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do. But di not do according to their works, for they say and do not do.

For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them down on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Bit all their works, they di to ‘be seen by men’. They make their phylacteries nroad and enlarhe the borders of their garments.

They love the best places at feast, the best seats in the synagogues.

Greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called Rabbi, Rabbi.

But you do not be called Rabbi; for one is your teacher, the Christ and you are all brethrens.

Do not call anyone on earth father; for one is your father, he who is in heaven.

And do not be called teacher, for one is your teacher, the Christ.

But he who is greater among you, shall be your servant.

And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.

Amen, when I was typing out this verse I tought about how most people arr not going to church because they feel as if it’s now a gathering for hypocrites.

I think at times people want to pick what they want from the bible.

When I started my righteousness walk, I heard people say things like that’s my spiritual mother, that’s my spiritual father. While we are on Earth, we are making away for our heavenly treasures. The Lord says don’t bother calling someone else father or teacher they are your brethren, learning right with you they may know more, and so you share but know this. If that person is exalted here on earth in heaven they will be the servant.

This is something for people that feel as if they know everything, and that certainly can be me at sometimes. If first will be last, and last will be first. Then the one who wants to be better than others and be in charge will have to learn how to serve. And for those who served here on earth will unlock treasures it’s all about your eternity.

Also don’t be so quick to want to teach someone something and not bother learning the lesson your self, just because you wanted a name deacon, pastor, prophet, apostle. Try unlocking it in heaven and on earth stand in service as equal as God has placed us.

Jesus Condemns the religious leaders

Verse 13- 36

But woe to you, scribes and pharisees hypocrites!

For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men. For you neither go in yourself nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

Woe to the scribes and pharisees hyoocrites!

For you devour widows houses, and or pretense make long prayers, therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

Woe to you, scribes and pharisees hypocrites!

For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte and when he os won, you makr him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

Woe to you, blind guides, who say, “whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple; he is obliged to perdorm it.

Fools and blind! Fir which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?

And, whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, if oblhed to perform it.

Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gifts?

There fore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and all things on it.

He who swears by the temple, swears by it and him who dwells in it.

And he who swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it.

Woe to the scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: Justice mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel.

Woe to you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites!

For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, bit inside they are full of extortion and self indulgence.

Blind pharisees, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish that the outside of them may be clean also.

Woe to you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! for you are  like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.

Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Woe to you scribes, pharisees, Hypocrites! because you built the tombs of prophets. Adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived  in the days of our fathers we would not have been partakers with them in the  blood of the prophets’.

Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are the son of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up then, the measure of your fathers guilt. Serpents brood of viper, how can you escape the condemnation of hell?

Therefore indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your in you synagogues and persecute from city to city.

That on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the Earth, from the blood of Zechariah son  of Berechiah whom you murdered between the temple and the alter.

Assuredly I say to you all those things will come upon this generation.

Amen! The Lord speaks to the Scribes and Pharisees about their inward behavior, about teaching one way and doing another. About cleaning the outside and still being dirty inside.

In our righteous walk we can be stuck on what people see on the outside and so engulfed in our cover up, that we have forgotten about our inside. I call it the perfect family syndrome. you know , when you tell everyone to smile land act right but in the house everyone is fighting and dealing with regret, animosity, and family hurt.

Well Jesus is saying as teachers, preachers, ministers, prophets we must be careful to keep our insides clean. Building our relationship with God everyday, fighting our flesh not only in the open but also in the house, in our minds. Those corners need to be clean as well as the door frames to our spirits, need to be wiped down. The things that you think people don’t see. God does sees.

Your eternity depends on it. The Lord says in these verses just because you are teaching Gods law your still going to be condemned to hell. Even worse, because now your teaching one thing and then displaying another. This is just teaching the people that are on the inside with you ( student) that they can do it as well, and because you say your the teacher then the person who doesn’t know any better will go to hell, but the teacher will be closer to the fire.

Jesus grieves over Jerusalem again

verse 37-39

O’Jerusalem, O’Jerusalem the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together  as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings but you were not willing. See! your house is left to you desolate, for I say to you, you shall see me no more till you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

If we take these words and apply it as if we are Jerusalem. we have done things disrespectful to God’s law’s and commands. and the Lord is saying I want to just take your children under my wing, but you won’t let me. your life and going down, and I am not going to come back until you come to me, until you acknowledge who I am.

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 22

Verse 1-14

Jesus told them more stories He said,

Here is what the kingdom of heaven is like. A king prepared a wedding dinner for his son.

he sent his servants to those who had been invited to the dinner. The servants told them to come but they refused.

Then he sent some more servants. He said ‘tell those that were invited that I have prepared my dinner. I have killed my oxen and fattest cattle. Everything is ready, come to the wedding dinner.’

But people paid no attention,. One went away to his field. another went to his business. The rest grabbed his servants. They treated them badly and then killed them.

The king became very angry. He sent his army to destroy the murderers and burned their city.

Then the king said to his servant. The wedding banquet is ready, but those that I invited didn’t deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite anyone you can find.’

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find both good and bad and the wedding hall was filled with guest.

But when the king came in to see the guest he noticed a man who wasn’t wearing any clothes.

The King asked,

‘Friend, how did you get in here without wearing any clothes?’ the man was speechless.

Then the king told the attendants, ‘tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for many are invited, but feww are chosen.’

*gnashing- grinding, gritting

This scripture was right on time. As I am preparing for today’s Journey in Praise Reflections, the question is; what do we serve?

This scripture has taught me, we don’t just serve the word of God to people. The king is having a wedding banquet and he tells his servants go on the street corners, the internet, and bring all the people you can find, good or bad.

Some will not make it in, but those who will come ready and willing. The question that we need to ask ourselves on our Journey is “Am I living for my eternity”
Religious leaders question Jesus about paying Taxes

Verse 15-22

The eord says then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. They sent their disciples to him along with Herodains.

“Teacher, we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to caesar or not?” The pharisees disciples asked Jesus.

But Jesus knowing their evil intent, said,

You hypocrites! Why are you trying to trap me?

Show me the coin used for paying the tax.

The brought him a denarius and he asked them

Who’s portrait is this? Who’s inscription?

“Caesar’s” they replied

Then Jesus said

Give to caesar what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is God’s.

When they heard this they were amazed. They left him amd went away.

What are you taking?

As I went over this scripture verses, my spirit reminded me of my prayers.

“Lord remove pride and flesh wants from me.”

When walking in righteousness we should be giving God what is his.

The people that we serve the word of God to, there spirit man is what we are bringing to the king. Are we taking the credit?

We are bot the ones who save people, we are the vessels that are used to get them there.

Bringing a spirit to walk along a righteous path is like paying your taxes to God, giving to him what is his.

Giving a person us via our time, our word is not going to give them what their spirit needs.

Religious leaders question Jesus about resurrection

Verse 23-33

The word says; the sameday the saducees who were saying there was no resurrection came and asked him.

“Teacher, Moses told us that if a man dies without children his brother must marry his widow and have children for him. Now there is seven brothers among us the first one marroed and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother. The samething happen with the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. Finally the woman died. At the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her.”

Jesus replied;

You are in error because you do not know the scriptures or power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be guven in marriage, they will be like angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you,I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

The wors says when the crowds heard this they were astonished at his teachings.

The Lord is the God of the living, our spirits keep moving going on to our next, after our spirit man has been built.

Our spirit being resurrected to the next. Our spirit rise to our eternity.

Religious leaders question Jesus about the greatest commandment

Verse 34-40

The word says that when the pharisees learned that Jesus silenced the saducees, they got together.

The word says the expert among them tested Jesus amd asked him.

“Teacher what is the greatest commandmentbib the law?”

Jesus answered;

You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and your mind. This is the first and great commandment.

And second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

On these two commandments hang all the law amd prophets

The word says while the Pharisees were together Jesus asked them;

What do you think about the Christ? Who’s son is He?

They anwered him

“The son of David”

Jesus then asked them,

How is is that in spirit David calls him Lord saying

‘The Lord said to my Lord “sit at my right hand till I made your enemies your footstool.”

If David calls him Lord, how is He his son?

The word says no one was able to answer him and that was the last day they questioned him.

Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself.

The firsr commandment is easy to alot of us, but what about the second?

Are you willing to give up your eternity to dislike, insult, or hate someone.

Some people can make it hard to love them through their ugly but the truth where tgere is ugly, God is missing.

We have to be ready to pray a person through their ugly with our faith. Our hearts, and love should be petitioning a request to God on their behalf

Today take the time to ask God to allow you the ability to love your neighbor pass their outer layer.

It is in him that we are moving in that second commandment in truth

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 21

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are doing all things for your eternity. At times we have to make that choice. Will this benefit my eternity, will doing that allow me in the kingdom of God.

There will be people who will come along and try to distract you and there will be things that you just need to walk away from.

If you did all you could for the circumstance and it’s making you angry and hateful toward another.

Just simply walk away, most likely your time is up and your next is sitting there waiting on you. What is more important than your eternity?

Lets get in to the word of God!

Matthew Chapter 21

Jesus enters Jerusalem

Verse 1-11

The word says as approaching Jerusalem, they came to bethphage. It was on the Mount of Olives Jesus sent two disciples ahead he said to them;

Go to the Village ahead of you, as you get there you will find a donkey tied up.

Her cold will be with her and tie them and bring them to me if anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them. The owner will send them right away.

The word says this happened so that the word spoken through the prophet would come true it says.

Say to the city of Zion, see, you can come see you he is gentle and riding on a donkey. He is riding on a donkey’s Colt (Zechariah 9:9)

The word says the disciples went and did what Jesus told them to do. They brought the donkey and the colt.

They Place their coats on them then Jesus sat on the coats the word says a very large crowd spread their coats on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them out on the road.

Some of the people went ahead of him and some of the people followed him. They all shouted,

” Hosanna to the son of David!

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. (Psalms 118:26) hosanna in the highest heaven!

The word says when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up. The people asked “who is this?”

The crowds answered “this is Jesus he is a prophet from Nazareth in Galilee”

Jesus came on the earth confirming the words of the prophets and all things he did.

When we think about speaking over our lives, we should think about how Jesus walked in past that the father gave to the prophet.

So when you speak over your life your children’s your spouse’s life Son and Holy Spirit will confirm your words.

Jesus clears the temple

Verse 12 – 17

The word says Jesus enter the temple area he started chasing out the people who were in the temple selling and buying things. He turned over their tables the word also says he turned over benches of those who are selling doves

Jesus said to them

It is written that the Lord said my house will be called a house where people can pray Isaiah 56:7 but you are making it a den for robbers Jeremiah 7:11

The word says that the Blind and the disabled went to Jesus at the temple. There he healed them. Jesus at the temple. They’re he heals him. The chief fries and the teachers of the law so the wonderful things he did. They also saw the children and the Temple area shouting Hosanna to the son of David but when they saw all that was going on the word says they became angry.

They asked Jesus; “Do you hear what these children are saying?”

Jesus replied

Yes, haven’t you ever read about it in Scripture? It says you have made sure that children and infants Praise You Psalms 8:2

The word says then Jesus left the people and went out of the city to Bethany he spent the night there.

The temple / Church is not the marketplace. There is a time and place for everything. The place where we stand and vulnerability for guidance and prayer and then here we are having people try to get over to make a sale haggling the church.

Notice how the chief priests and the teachers weren’t feeling praise for the healing but they were okay with turning the temple into a Marketplace.

And because they couldn’t say anything about the Turning of benches, and tables they decided to say something about the children and evening that Jesus was like nope, not happening did you read the scripture where it says children and infants Praise You word confirmed.

The Fig Tree dries up

Verse 18 – 22

The Lord says early in the morning Jesus  was headed back to Jerusalem. He was hungry, he saw a fig tree by the road. He went up to it to get a piece of fruit but found nothing except leaves

Jesus said;

May you never bare fruit again

The word says right away the tree dried up.

when the disciples saw the tree dry up they were amazed they asked Jesus

how did the Fig Tree dry up so quickly?

Jesus replied;

What I’m about to tell you is true. you must have faith and not doubt. Then you can do what was done to the fig tree. And you can say to this mountain, go and throw yourself into the sea. It will be done. If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray

This chapter, I mentioned that the Lord will confirm the words of his servant. Well it’s our faith that brings us to that level our faith that carries us to the next level the face that what we declare in prayer we will walk in or are descendants will walk in it without faith our words will not be confirmed.

The authority of Jesus is questioned

Verse 23 – 27

The word says Jesus entered the temple Courtyard while he was teaching the chief priests in Elders came to him.

They asked Jesus by what Authority are you doing these things? Who gave you this Authority?

Jesus replied

I will also ask you one question. If you answer me I will tell you by what Authority I am doing these things. Where did John the baptism come from? was it from heaven? Or did it come from Men?

the scripture says they talk to each other about it they answered finally.

” if we say heaven he will ask then why didn’t you believe him? But if we say for men? we are afraid of the people Everyone believe said John was a prophet.”

so they answered Jesus we don’t know

Jesus said, then I won’t tell you by what Authority I am doing these things either.

This verse speaks volumes we are so quick to be ready to question others but are we willing to speak truth when we answer them.

what was it for the chief priests to say John’s baptism Came From Heaven they didn’t want to be proven wrong?

To say men we would upset the people who believe John to be a prophet. imagine the teacher of Law and chief priests being led by people and not God I don’t know about that.

The story of the two sons

verse 28-32

What do you think about this/ A man had two sons, he went to the first one and said,

‘Son go and work today in the vineyard.’

‘I will not’ the son answered, but later he changed his mind and went.

Then the father went to the second son and asked the same thing.

The son answered, ‘I will, Sir.’ But he did not go.

which of the two son’s did what the father wanted?

“The first” The disciples answered. Jesus said to them.

What I’m about to tell you is true, Tax collectors and prostitutes will enter the kingdom of God ahead of you. John came to show you the right way to live and you did not believe him, but the Tax collector and prostitutes did. you saw this. But even then you did not turn away from your sins and believe him.

Are you going to walk in what’s right? The first son may have said no, I’m not going to work in your vineyard but after a while he got up and went to work. Just like the Tax collectors and prostitutes. While their in their sin they are enjoying themselves but in their mind the are believing John and it is doing something in their spirit.

That’s what happens with us, the Lord keeps working on us at first we will be all in our free will enjoying the feeling of doing what we want right or wrong but then we will hear a word from the Lord and that’s when it will start stirring in our spirit. which moves us to say yes. Remember Moses he said “Lord, I can’t do that I have issues with my speech”  yet Moses still went to Egypt.

The second son was like many, Oh yes sir, I’ll do what you ask of me, but doesn’t follow through. We have believers that will say, yes Lord! I’ll give up everything. These are the people that say, ‘not that Lord.’  ‘I’m not ready to do that either’

The story of the renters

Verse 33-46

Jesus said;

Listen to another story.

A man who owned some land planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it. He dug a pit for a wine-press in it. He also built  a looking tower. He rented the vineyard out  to some farmers. Then he went away on a Journey.

When harvest time approached, he sent his servants to collect his share of the fruit. But the renters grabbed his servants, they beat one of them, killed another. They through stones at the third to kill him.

Then the man sent other servants to the renters. He sent more than he did the first time. The renters treated them the same way.

Last of all he sent his son. ‘They will respect my son.’ he said.

But the renters saw his son coming. They said to each other. ‘This is the one who will receive all the owners property someday. Come, lets kill him. Then everything will be ours.’

So they took him and through him out of the vineyard, then they killed him.

“When the owner of the vineyard comes back, what will he do to those renters?

“He will destroy those evil people” they replied “Then he will rent the vineyard to other renters. They will give him his share of the crop at the harvest time”

Jesus said to them

Haven’t you ever read what the scriptures say “The stone the builders didn’t accept. has become the most important stone of all.

The Lord has done it.

It is wonderful in our eyes (psalm 118:22,23)

so here is what I tell you. The kingdom of God will be taken away from you. It will be given to people who will produce it’s fruit.

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces. But the stone will crush anyone it falls on.

The chief priests and the pharisees heard Jesus’s stories. They knew he was talking about them. So they looked for a way to arrest him. But they were afraid of the crowd. The people believed  that Jesus was a prophet.

It took  me some time on this scripture. Not everyone will accept you and walk that your on.

In the mist there will be people who will try to take what God has placed for you. And they will try to destroy who you are, they will try to damage your name. You will be the stone, the builders didn’t accept.

The kingdom of God will be taken away from them and given to those who produce fruit.

Our Father (landowner) will remove the renters (evil people) from your life and so that we can produce fruit and give the lord  our praise.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 20

Blessings everyone,

I pray that your day is going in God’s will. Sometimes we have days when we feel as if we can’t get ahead no matter how hard we try, no matter how hard we pray. In getting ahead we forget are service, we are Servants of God, and when we are so focus on what we want we forget to serve. We forget that only getting ahead,  lands us at only last when it comes to the Kingdom of heaven.

So as you are moving in life on this earth. Do not worry about where you are, concern yourself with where your spirit is. how close are you to God today? Are you closer than yesterday?

let’s get to into the word of the Lord!

Matthew chapter 20

Jesus tells the parable of the workers paid equally

Verse 1 – 16

For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his Vineyard. He agreed to pay them a Denarius for the day and sent them into his Vineyard.

About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing, he told them ‘you also go and look in my Vineyard and I will pay you whatever is right.’ So they went.

He went out again about the six hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing. About the 11th hour, he saw men still standing around he asked them ‘why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’  ‘Because no one has hired us’ they answered. He said ‘you also go and work in my Vineyard.’

When evening came the owner of the vineyard said to his Foreman, ‘call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last one hired and going into the first.’ The workers who were hired about the 11th Hour came and each received a Denarius. When those came who were hired first expected to receive more. But each of them also received a Denarius. When they received it, they begin to grumble against the landowner.

‘These men who are hired last only work one hour’ they said ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of work and the Heat of the day.’ But he answered one of them, ‘friend I am not being unfair to you, didn’t you agree to work for a Denarius? Take your pay and go, I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am in generous?’ So the last will be first and the first will be last.

When we are walking on this Earth, we often have the habit of checking for the blessings. Wondering ‘where’s my blessing? I’ve been praying for a year and still haven’t gotten my blessing.’ And that’s what the workers were saying ‘hey we’ve been sweating and fighting the heat but we should be getting more.’

What I am learning from the story of the workers is just because we feel we do more or work harder and pray consistently, we are still equal in the eyes of God. It doesn’t matter when you  were saved, what you we were called to do. we are still the same people he made on the sixth day we are the same people that he sacrificed his son for. He loves us all equally.

Jesus predicts his death the third time.

Verse 17 – 19

The word says that Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the 12 disciples aside and said to them.

We are going up to Jerusalem and the son of man will be betrayed to the chief priest and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked, flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!

Reading this I couldn’t help but notice Jesus was speaking in the third person. As I thought about this, I realized we would have to move from our flesh to our spirit. Your spirit man speaking  into the earth.

A lesson I have placed on the priority list from this is add more quiet prayer time. What I have learned in Matthews is that Jesus went off to be with God often in his day, he went by himself just to pray and be in God’s presence.

I think it’s important to our spirit man. Our spirit man needs that time with the father, your spirit man will speak your next, it connects with your future, with your purpose, but first the spirit has to be plugged into the power of the almighty El Shaddai , Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, God the Son. Jesus was able to speak on what was about to happen, and what was about to happen was a prophesy come to past. My question is, what is God saying about you?

Jesus teaches about serving others

Verse 20 – 28

The word says the mother of Zebedee’s sons brought her two sons to Jesus knelt down asking a favor of Jesus. She asked Jesus to Grant one of her two sons a place at his right side and his kingdom

Jesus said;

You don’t know what you’re asking? Can you drink the cup that I’m going to drink?

The two disciples answered Jesus ‘We can’

You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at the right or the left is not for me to Grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my father.

When the other 10 disciples heard about this they were indignant with the other two brothers. Jesus called them all together and said

You know that the rulers of the Gentiles Lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you instead, whoever wants to be your servant and whoever wants to be first must be your slave. Just as the son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Can you drink from the cup that Jesus drank? To give up everything and walk the life of a servant. Every time I write a blog do broadcast deliver a message, I asked the Lord to burn my flesh. It’s important that we don’t unlock prideful nature on Earth. Our walk should have our Eternal goal. I have said this before, as a little girl I was sure that my place was walking in the garden with Jesus and I move as a servant so that I can be seated on the right side of Jesus. To pray that we are willing to give God everything, not just a little and not just what we want to give him.

Jesus heals a blind beggar

Verse 29 – 34

The word says; that a large crowd followed Jesus and the disciples as they were headed to Jericho. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard Jesus was going by, they shouted ‘Lord son of David, have mercy on us!’

The crowd rebuke them and told them to be quiet, but the men shout it louder ‘Lord, son of David have mercy on us!’ Jesus stopped and called them. ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ Jesus asked. ‘Lord, we want our sight.’  Jesus had compassion on them and touch their eyes immediately they received their sight and followed him.

Amen! How can you not move to follow him after that kind of miracle. As a Believer everyone is trying to get to Jesus, and some will believe that their needs are more than yours. I tell you today keep your faith, keep after him remember last will be first, he will hear you before he would hear those that believe that they deserve to be before or have more than any of their neighbors

be blessed

Matthew Chapter 19

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are seeking God first in everything that you do.

At times we can not see who acknowledges our well doing, and even though the labor can get hard and at times it seems as if your the only person moving.

I want to tell you to keep on moving, don’t look to the left or right. Keep your eyes on God and continue to walk on the water. But most important do not faint when it gets hard, just know God is making a way.

Lets get in to the word of God!

Matthew chapter 19

Jesus teaches about Divorce

Verse 1-12

The word says that Jesus went to the area of Judea on the other side of the Jordan River, after he left Galilee. Large crowds followed him, he healed them there.

The word says:

some Pharisees came to test him. They had asked him; If the law allowed a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?

Jesus replied;

Haven’t you read that in the beginning the Creator, made them male and female? That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife the two will become one.

They are no longer two, but one. So a man must not separate what God has joined together.

They asked, then why did Moses command that a man can give his wife a letter of divorce and send her away?

Jesus replied;

Moses let you divorce your wives because you were stubborn.

But it was not this way from the beginning, here’s what I tell you, anyone who divorces his wife and gets married to another woman commits adultery.

A man may divorce his wife only if she has been unfaithful to him.

The disciples said to him “If that’s the way it is between a husband and wife, it is better not to get married!”

Jesus replied;

Not everyone can accept the idea of staying single. Only those who have been helped to live without getting married can accept it. Some men are not able to have children because they were born that way. Some have been made that way by other people. Others have made themselves that way in order to serve the kingdom of heaven. The one can’t who can accept living that way should do so.

Jesus always had to deal with people testing him and he was ready!

When we get married we become one with army, accountability partners. We have to hold each other accountable and be ready to forgive 77 + times.

Moses commanded a certificate of divorce to compromise with the bickering people, but as Jesus said in the beginning it wasn’t all that way. It was we are together, or you’re my partner because God paired us together.

Little children are brought to Jesus

Verse 13-15

The word says some people brought little children to Jesus. They wanted him to place his hands on the children and pray for them. But his disciples tell the people to stop

Jesus responded:

Let the children come to me. Don’t keep them away, the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to people like them.

Jesus placed his hands on them and left

It’s the children that love with an open heart and speaks with honesty on their tongue. It’s when someone tries to keep them away from God it begins to break their spirits and because they are the Next Generation they deserve to be blessed, they deserve to begin their relationship with the Lord as soon as possible.

Jesus and the rich young man.

Verse 16-30

A man comes to Jesus and ask him what good must he do to receive eternal life?

Jesus responded

Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you want to enter the kingdom, obey the Commandments.

The man asked Jesus “which commandment must he obey?”

Jesus answered

Don’t commit murder, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, do not give fault Witness, honor your father and mother mother, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.

The man answered Jesus I have obeyed all those Commandments, what else do I need?

Jesus responded

If you want to be perfect, go and sell everything you have give the money to those who are poor. You will have Treasures in Heaven, then come and follow me.

The young man was sad when he heard this he was very rich.

Then Jesus said to his disciples

What I’m about to tell you is true. It is hard for rich people to enter the kingdom of heaven again I tell you it is hard for a camel to go through the eye of the needle but it is even harder for the rich to enter God’s Kingdom.

The disciples were amazed they asked who can be saved?

Jesus responded;

With man, that is impossible but With God, all things are possible.

Peter asked Jesus what rewards will be given to them, because they left everything to follow him?

Jesus answered

What I’m about to tell you is true. When all things are made new, the son of man will sit on his glorious throne.

Then you will have follows me will also sit on 12 Thrones. You will judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Everyone who has left houses or families or Fields because of me will receive 100 as much they will also receive eternal life but many who are first will be last and many who are last will be first.

In Christ we are all equal and many give up everything that their flesh love to walk right to sleep. And for a mini they will walk in blessing before others many may become a Believer and receive the hundred time blessings right away and others will spend years looking and praying for it. When we look and pray for it on the Earth, we get to receive it in the kingdom of God. We will be first, in life we have unlocked through our prayers what we will recieve heaven.

Amen!

Let’s get into the word of the Lord

The disciples argue who would be the greatest.

Verse 1 – 6

The disciples went to Jesus and asked him who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus called a little child and had him stand among them and he said;

I tell you the truth. Unless you change and become more like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore whoever humbles himself like the child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

And whoever welcomes like this, is in my name welcomes me, but if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large Millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

The process of being childlike is to let go of our private way to be humble and open-hearted

Jesus warns against temptation

Verse 7– 9

The word says,

woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin, these things must come, but won’t to the man to whom they come!

If your hand or foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away, it is better for you to enter life maimed or cripple then to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into Eternal fire and if your eyes cause you to sin gauge it out and throw it away it is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

Hey man! The Lord tells us to cut out things that cause us to send, and that can mean people as well. Would you rather go to hell and be tortured for Eternal or have life that is the question?

Jesus warns against looking down on others

Verse 10 – 14

See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones for I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the 99 on the hill and go look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it I tell you the truth, he is happier about the one sheep then about the 99 that did not wander off and the same way your father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

This part of the scripture reminds us that the Lord is looking for his lost sheep.

we are so quick to criticize others about what they are doing, wearing, and whatever sin there is. But truth, why can’t we just guide the sheep back to its Shepherd?

Jesus teaches how to treat a Believer who sins.

Verse 15-20

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens you have won your brother over, but if he will not listen take one or two others along so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three Witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them tell it to the church, and if he refuses to listen even to the church treat him as you would a pagan or tax collector.

What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on Earth will be locked in heaven which you unlock on Earth will be unlocked in heaven.

Again here is what I tell you supposed to of you on Earth agree about anything you ask for. My Father in heaven will do it for you where 3 people meet together in my name I am there with them.

Accountability! That’s where we stand not expecting everyone to submit to a gentle nudge or warning the Lord says that if they listen then He will remain your brother / sister but if he doesn’t then he is not for you.

We tend to get angry when people don’t listen to us but the truth is simple and they are not willing to listen then we must leave them where they are.

Allowing their need to not listen will put you in a place of unlocking a simple way on earth a cold heart, take it to prayer, the Lord reminds us when one or more are gathered God is in the Mist amen!

The servant who had no mercy

Verse 21 – 35

The word says Peter came to Jesus and ask them how many times should he forgive someone for sinning against him? Should it be up to seven times?

Jesus answered him

I tell you not seven times but 77 times

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a king who wanted to collect all the money his servant sold him. As the king began to do it, a man who owed him millions of dollars was brought to him. The man was not able to pay him.

So his master gave an order. The man, his wife, his children, and all he and had to be sold to pay back what he old owed.

What servant fell on his knees in front of him give me time he beg I’ll pay everything back.

His master felt sorry for him he gave him what he told and let him go.

But then the servant went out and found one of the other servants who old him a few dollars he grabbed him and began to choke him.

Pay back what you owe me he said.

The other servant fell to his knees give me time, he backs and I’ll pay you back.

But the first servant refused, instead he went and had the man thrown into prison.

the man who would be held there until he could pay back what he owes. The other servants saw what happened. And troubled them greatly, they went and told their Master everything that happened. Then the master called the first servant in. you evil servant he said I forgave all that you owed me because you beg me to you have nomercy on the other servant just like I had mercy on you?

an anger his master turned him over to the jailer he will be punished until he pays back everything he owe.

This is how my Father in heaven will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.

As Believers we forget this Factor. and to some it doesn’t exist.

you can’t expect the father to forgive you if you can’t forgive another 77 times. Because I’m sure the Lord has forgiven you 777,777,777. I’m just saying find it in yout heart to be more like your Father and less like the people who are after the somethings as you. Treating others how they treat you will not get you to righteousness. How can you get to righteousness if you can’t forgive 77 times.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Let’s get into the word of the Lord

Matthew Chapter 17

Verse 1-13

Jesus is transfigured on the mountain

The word says; after 6 days Jesus took Peter, James, and John the brother James Jesus led them up a high mountain by themselves.

The word says Jesus transfigured( transform into something more beautiful or elevated) himself his face Shone like the sun, his clothes became as white as the light. The word says just then Moses and Elijah appeared in front of them the word says Moses and Elijah was talking to Jesus.

Peter said to the Lord that it was good for them to be there and he offered to put up three tents one for Jesus one for Moses one for Elijah.

The word says while Peter was still speaking a bright clouds surrounded them a voice from the cloud said, this is my son, and I love him. I am pleased with him, listen to him.

The word says; the disciples heard this and they were terrified, they fell with their faces to the ground.

The word says Jesus came and touched them and said;

get up, Don’t Be Afraid

when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

Jesus and his disciples came down from the mountain. On the way down Jesus told them

Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, wait until the son of man has raised from the dead

The disciples asked Jesus “why did the teachers of the law say that Elijah has come first?”

The word says Jesus replied;

To be sure Elijah comes and will restore all things but I tell you Liza has already come and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished in the same way the son of man is going to suffer at their hands.

The disciples understood that he was talking about John the Baptist.

Praise God, could you imagine going up the mountain, and the cloud coming down on us? or standing there and watching Jesus Transfiguration?

As we are walking by faith, and walking toward righteousness, we should be seeing ourselves transfigured before our own eyes.

The presence of Moses and Elijah with Jesus allowed the disciples to understand that Jesus was here to fulfill the prophecy of God’s law in the words of God’s prophets.

Verse 14-21

Jesus heals demon possessed boy

The word says; that when Jesus and his disciples came to a crowd, a man approached Jesus, and knelt in front of him and said “Lord have mercy, on my son.” The man continues by telling Jesus, his son has seizures and because of his shakes he falls in the fire or into the water the man tells Jesus he brought his son to the disciples but they could not heal him.

Jesus replied;

You unbelieving and evil people! how long do I have to stay with you? how long do I have to put up with you? bring the boy here to me.

The word says; Jesus ordered the demon to leave the boy and it came out of him, he was healed at that very moment.

The word says the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked him why they could not drive out the demon?

Jesus replied to them

Because your faith is much too small. What  I.m about to tell you is true. If you have the faith as small as a mustard seed, it is enough.

You can say to this mountain ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move nothing will be impossible for you.

The word says; they got together in Galilee there Jesus said to them

The son of man is going to be handed over to men. They will kill him, on the third day he will rise from the dead.

Then the disciples were filled with deep sadness.

Remember that even in Jesus ‘s home town he didn’t do many miracles, the scripture says because their faith wasn’t much.

Miracles, signs , and wonders appear when we have even a mustard seed of faith. If you don’t believe that God can fix it because you can’t see the way then don’t expect to see a miracle.

The Lord tells the disciples that he will be handed over and killed, and rise three days later.

Verse 24 -27

Jesus pays the temple Tax

The word says; Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum. The tax collector came to Peter and asked him if Jesus paid the Temple Tax. Peter replied “Yes he does”

When Peter went into the house Jesus asked him,

What do you think Simon? Who do the kings of the earth collect taxes and fees from? Do they collect from their own sons or from others?

Peter answered “from others.”

Jesus replied:

Then the sons don’t have to pay, but we don’t want to make them angry. So go to the lake and throw out your fishing line. Take the first fish you catch open it’s mouth and there you will find  the exact coin you need. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.

Isn’t it something that the Lord knew what was going on outside this reminds me that the Lord confirms the word of his prophets and servants. Peter was willing to lie to avoid any trouble. Not noticing that his lie would’ve given them more troubles than needed.

Just as soon as Peter walked into the house Jesus addressed it. and provided a way for the words from Peter may be confirmed. this was another reminder of the tongue speaking life and death.

Matthew Chapter 16

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are walking in purpose and building your foundation on Faith here on earth.

I remember a Pastor I loved dearly Pastor M.E Wooton he once gave a sermon and in the sermon he said “if you were a janitor on earth you will be a janitor in heaven.”

This example stuck to me, it made me conscious of what I did. I was about 19 when I heard him say this, I believe those words changed my life and my life decisions and I’m sure that’s what the Lord intended for it to do.

Let’s get into the word of the Lord

Matthew Chapter 16

Verse 1-4

Jesus is asked for a miraculous sign

The Pharisees and the Sadducees came to put Jesus to the test they asked Jesus to show them a miraculous sign from heaven

Jesus replied

In the evening you look at the sky you say ‘it will be good weather the sky is red. And in the morning you say, today it will be stormy, the sky is red and cloudy. you know the meaning of what you see in the sky, but you can’t understand the signs of what is happening right now. An evil and unfaithful people look for a miraculous sign, but none will be given to them except the sign of Jonah.

The word says; then Jesus left and went away.

The word of the Lord tells us that people pay attention to the frivolous signs but the miraculous signs from Heaven is around us consistently.

The Lord tells them you will have your miraculous sign, when you see the sign of Jonah which would be the crucifixion, death, and Rise of Jesus the three days Jonah was in the belly of the big fish.

Verse 5-12

The yeast of Pharisees and sudducees.

The word says that the disciples cross the lake and forgotten to bring bread.

Jesus told them; be careful watch out for yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

The disciples spoke among themselves saying Jesus must have said what he said because they didn’t bring bread.

Jesus knowing what they were saying responded by saying;

Your faith is so small , why are you talking to each other about having no bread?

don’t you understand yet? don’t you remember the five loaves of bread for 5000? Don’t you remember how many baskets of pieces you gathered?

don’t you remember the 7 loads for the 4000? don’t you remember how many baskets of pieces you gathered? how can you possibly not understand?

I wasn’t talking to you about bread, but watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

The word says; the disciples realized that Jesus was talking about watching out for what the Pharisees and Sadducees taught.

When is disciples were concerned about bread, and the Lord says how can you not understand? it reminds me that the Lord will show us in so many ways that he has got us, all we need is our faith. And we still will be concerned with what that thing that stresses us. the Lord is saying how many times do I have to show you I will take care of you. The Lord says be careful of the people that’s going to tell you the wrong thing.

Be concerned only about what the Lord is telling you watch out for the yeast of people that are not God sent.

Verse 13-20

Peter says that Jesus is Christ.

The word says that Jesus went to caesarea Phillipi he asked his disciples;

Who do people say the son of man is?

The disciples replied some say John the Baptist, other say Elijah, and others still say Jeremiah or one of the prophets

Jesus asked his disciples;

What about you? who do you say I am?

Simon Peter answered; you are Christ, you are the son of the Living God.

Jesus replied;

Blessed are you Simon, son of Jonah! No mere man showed this to you. My Father in Heaven showed it to you.

here is what I tell you. You are Peter. on this rock I will build my church. The Gates of Hell will not be strong enough to destroy it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. what you lock on Earth, will be locked in heaven. what you unlock on Earth, will be unlocked in heaven.

The word says; that Jesus warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was Christ.

What you do here on Earth you doing happen. It’s important for us to be concerned about our behavior. Are you Purpose Driven? or are you just sitting there thirsty but not going to the well?

Romans 1:17 was the first scripture that the Lord had given me; for in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed is how it starts. on Earth we should be unlocking Faith, scripture, and relationship. We should be locking lies, theft and infidelity.

Since I was a child, I always imagined that when I die, I would be walking around heaven with Jesus talking and laughing.

As an adult I like to spend my time in the word of God. my childhood vision taught me that I am a disciple of Christ, and that’s why my glory is spending time with him and that’s my unlock.

Now by far am i perfect so there are things that I have locked and there are things that I am trying to push the door closed. But my faith tells me due time God’s will.

Take the timetm to pray to the Lord about your unlocked in your locked and ask the father to help you discern those things so you can work on them.

Verse 21-28

Jesus tells about his coming death.

The word says Jesus started telling his disciples what was going to happen to him. He told them he must go to Jerusalem, and in Jerusalem he must suffer many things from Elders, the chief priests, and teachers of the law. He must be killed and on the third day rise to life again.

Peter took Jesus to the side and said “Never Lord, this will never happen to you.”

The word says Jesus turned and said;

Satan! you are standing in my way. You don’t have in mind the things of God, instead you are thinking about human things.

Then Jesus spoke to his disciples he said;

If anyone wants to follow me, he must say no to himself. He must pick up his cross and follow me. If he wants to save his life, he will lose it. But if he loses his life for me, he will find it.

What good is it if someone gains the whole world, but loses his soul? or what can anyone trade for his soul?

The son of man is going to come in his father’s Glory. His angels will come with him, and he will reward everyone and keeping with what they have done.

What I’m about to tell you is true. Some who are standing in here, will not die before they see the son of man coming in his kingdom.

Our flesh will always try to tell us that what it wants, is more important than what God wants for us.

Like now, I’m past the deadline for this blog. It should have been published at 10 a.m. My Flesh tells me; oh go scroll Facebook promote your business and post it tomorrow.

GET BEHIND ME SATAN! my spirit answers. I must say no to myself, so that I can find my life. Amen!

Pray for strength in this area, ask God to give you strength to shut down your flesh so that the Lord can be the light. Amen!

Let’s get into the word of the Lord

Matthew Chapter 15

Jesus teaches about inner purity

Verse 1- 20

Some Pharisees and scribes from Jerusalem came to Jesus and asked him why his disciples violate the tradition handed down by the elders. They stated to Jesus that the disciples don’t wash their hands before they eat.

Jesus replied;

Why also do you violate the commandments of God for the sake of traditions. For God said

‘Honor your father and mother amd he who speaks evil of or insults or treats improperly father or mother is to be put to death’

But you say if anyone says to father or mother whatever I have that would help you is given by God, he is not to honor his father or his mother.

So by this you have invalidated the word of God, for the sake of your tradition

You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you.

‘These people honor me with their lips,

But there hearts are far from me.

They worship me in vain,

Their teachings are but rules taught by men.

The word says Jesus called the crowd and said

Listen and understand;

What goes into a man’s mouth doesn’t make him unclean

The word says then the disciples came to him and asked

“Do yo know the pharisees were offended when they heard this?

Jesus replied;

Every plant that my heavenly father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man both will fall into a pit.

Peter asked Jesus to explain the parable to them.

Jesus asked

Are you still so dull?

Don’t you see that whatever enters the miuth goes into the stomach and then out the body?

But the things that comes out the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man unclean.

For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immortality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what makes a man unclean; but eating with unwashed hands doesn’t make hom unclean.

Praise God!

At times we are so focused on tradition that we forget about the laws.

Some people may say that they don’t like going to church because of the hypocrites. You know the people that wear white on first Sunday. These are the people who roll their eyes and suck their teeth at someone because they had blue on.

Not concerned that you may not be able to afford anything white.

They honor God with their lips, but not their heart. They are more worried about us following man’s rules than following God’s law.

Let’s remember it’s not what goes in our mouths that matter, it’s what comes out our mouths that make us clean or unclean.

Verse 21-28

Jesus sends a demon out of a girl.

The word says Jesus wentro the region of Tyre and Sidon. A canaanite woman from that vicinity camm to him crying out, ‘Lord son of David have mercy on me. My daughter is suffering terribly from demon posseession

The word says Jesus did not answer and his disciples urged him to send the woman away, because she kept crying out to them.

Jesus answered

I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel

The woman went up to Jesus and knelt before him.

“Lord, help me” the woman said

Jesus replied

It is not right to take the childrens bread and toss it to their dogs.

Yes , Lord she said “but even dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the masters table.

Then Jesus answered

Woman you have great faith! Your request is granted

Her daughter was healed from that hour.

The faith, just a little bit will do Lord. A mustard seed miracle Abba!

After I read this verse I thought back to the end of chapter 14. The Lord was in his hometown, the chapter ends with he didn’t do many miracles, because the lack of faith.

I hear the Lord say; we all may pray, but some lack the faith to follow through.

When we are moving toward God or believing God for something. Our faith must allow us to believe that even a small amount, even a crumb from the masters table is more than enough.

El Shaddai~God All mighty, all sufficient

Verse 29 -31

The crowd marvels at Jesus’s healings.

The word says Jesus went to the sea if Galilee, he went up to the mountain and sat down. Crowds came to him bringing the lame, blind, crippled, mute and many others laying them at his feet, He healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the cripple made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. They praised the God of Israel.

Could you imagine being a witness to these miracles.

How much faith is surrounding him? You have to believe that when he touches you, when he looks at you, when you touch him or just to be around him you are healed.

Verse 32- 39

Jesus feds four thousand

The word starts by saying Jesus called his disciples to him and said

I have compassion for these people.

They have been with me for three days and have nothing to eat.

I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.

Jesus’s disciples asked where could they get the bread in such a secluded place?

Jesus asked them

How many loaves do you have?

They replied Seven.

Jesus told the crowd to go sit on the ground. Jesus took the seven loaves and fish. He gave thanks and broke them up handing a piece to his disciples and the disciples handed pieces to thw people.

The word says they all ate and were satisfied. Afterwards the disciples collected seven baskets of the broken pieces that were left over. That day four thousand men ate, not including women and children. After Jesus got in the boat and went to the vicinity Magadan.

Hallelujah! What a way to end a chapter. We are shown no matter what, no matter how many times with faith The Father will come through and when he does there will be more than enough.

Let’s get into the word of God!!

Matthew Chapter 14

Herod kills John the Baptist

Verse 1-12

The word says Herod heard about Jesus and said he was John risen from the dead, that’s why he had powers.

These verses say that Herod had John arrested and bound because of Herod’s brother’s wife. John had been telling Herod that it was unlawful for him to have her. Herod wanted to kill John but he was afraid because the people considered him a prophet.

On Herod’s birthday his brother’s wife’s daughter danced for him and he was pleased. He told her he would give her whatever she wanted. Coaxed by her mother she asked for John’s head on a platter.

The word says the King was distressed but because of his promise and his guest he followed through.

Herod ordered for John to be beheaded, his head placed on a platter and brought to the girl. She gave it to her mother.

John’s disciples took his body buried it and then went to tell Jesus.

As I was reading the verses. I thought about all the believers that were killed for carrying out their purpose.

John did not keep his mouth shut. He saw something wrong and spoke the words of God against.

Isn’t that our jobs? To be ready to fight for God’s law. We are armed with our sword. As we see John had no problem striking with his.

If you see an eviliness on someone are you going to use your sword to destroy it? Will you sacrifice yourself to save another soul?

*These questions you should take to God during prayer time

Verse 13 – 21

Jesus feeds five thousand

When Jesus found out what happened to John, he went off to be alone.

When the people heard what happen and saw Jesus was in mourning they followed him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd he had compassion on them and healed the sick.

As it was getting late the disciples told Jesus to send the crowd away so they can go and buy food. Jesus replied they don’t need to go away, bring them some food.

The disciple answered; we only have five loaves of bread and two fish Jesus told them to bring him the food. Jesus told the people to sit on the grass. Jesus gave thanks for the food and started breaking the bread.

When he was done there were 12 baskets full that were left over. The amount of people that ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

I often refer to this scripture when I answer my children’s request for a friend to eat over.

It’s a reminder that we may never see things as being enough, but God says there’s more than enough

Verse 22-32

Jesus walks on water

After the meal Jesus had the disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side ahead of him

He went to the mountainside to pray. By night he was alone and the boat was a ways from him and was in the mist of heavy winds.

Later in the night Jesus went to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him the were terrified, they thought he was a ghost. Jesus told them to be courageous, it was him.

Peter says “Lord if it’s you tell me to come?”

Jesus told him to come.

The word says Peter started walking on the water toward Jesus, but when he saw the wind he was afraid and began to sink, he cried out “Lord save me”

Immediately Jesus caught him and said you of little faith, why did you doubt.

When Jesus got on the boat everyone worshiped him.

You of little faith, why did you doubt. We are disciples of Christ, we should be ready to walk on water because Jesus gave his disciples the power through him.

When we start to walk in power a little wind comes and we get scared. The most important part of this scripture never forget Immediately, Jesus will catch you.

Verse 34-36

Jesus heals all who touch him

When they crossed over, people recognized Jesus and brought their sick to him. Asking if they can touch his cloak, and when they did they were healed.

The faith to know that all you need is to touch him and be healed.

If your faith allows you to be healed what happens when the holy spirit dwells within you

Just a question to bring to God in prayer.
