Matthew Chapter 25

The story of the ten briadsmaids

Verse 1-13

here is what the kingdom of heaven will be like at that time. Ten bridesmaids took their lamps and went out to meet the groom. Five of them were foolish, five were wise.

The foolish ones took their lamps, but didn’t take any olive oil with them. The wise ones took oil in a jar with their lamps. The groom didn’t come for along time so the bridesmaids all grew tired and fell asleep.

At midnight someone cried out, ‘Here’s the groom! come out to meet him!’

Then all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready. The foolish ones said to the wise ones ‘Give us some of your oil, our lamps are going out.’

‘No, they replied there may not be enough for all of us. Instead go to those who sell oil, buy some for yourselves.’

So they went to buy the oil. But while they were on their way, the groom arrived. The bridesmaids who were ready went in with him to the wedding dinner. Then the door was shut.

Later the other bridesmaids also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said ‘open the door for us!’

But he replied, ‘What I’m about to tell you is true, I don’t know you’.

So keep watch, you don’t know the day or the hour the groom will come.

Just like we learned in Chapter 24, Jesus says he doesn’t know when he’s coming, only the Father knows. When the Father, tells Jesus it’s time, Jesus will say Yes. Will you be ready? Doing things that the Father will be proud of.

What we do know is that the five foolish bridesmaids were not ready at all. Instead of packing and figuring out what the needed they talked about what they were going to say, probably fixed their make up and all kinds of things. The started running late grabbed their lamps and rushed out probably trying to beat the five wise bridesmaids to the perfect spot. and what happened they had to go look for oil to buy, and missed his arrival.

For us it means that we should have been walking with our key to the kingdom.

The story of the three servants

Verse 14-30

Again here is what the kingdom of heaven will be like. A man was going on a journey. He sent for his servants and put them in charge of his property. He gave $10,000 to one. He gave $4,000 to another. And $2,000 to the third. The man gave each servant the amount of money he knew the servant could take of then he went on his journey.

The servant who had received the $10,000 went at once and put his money to work. He earned $10,000 more. The one with $4,000 earned $4,000 more. But the man who had received $2,000, and dug a hole in the ground he hid his masters money in it.

After a longtime the master to those  returned, he wanted to collect all the money they earned. The man who was given $10,000  brought the other $10,000. ‘Master’ he said ‘you trusted me with $10,000 . See, I have earned $10,000 more.

His master replied. ‘You have done well, good and faithful servant! you have been faithful with a few things . I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!’

The man with $4,000 also came. ‘Master’ he said ‘you trusted me with $4,000. See, I have earned $4,000 more.

His master replied ‘you have done well good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!’

Then the man who received $2,000 came. ‘Master’ he said. ‘I knew that you are a hard man. You harvest where you have not planted. You gather crops where you have not scattered seeds, so I was afraid. I went out and hid your $2,000 in the ground. See, here i what belongs to you.

His master replied, ‘You evil, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not planted? You knew that I gather crops where I have not scattered seeds? well then, you should have put my money in the bank when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

Then the master commanded the other servants ‘Take the $2,000 from him. Give it to the one who has $20,000. Everyone who has will , be given more. ‘He will have more than enough. and what about anyone who doesn’t have? Even what he has will be taken away from him. Throw that worthless servant outside. There in the darkness, people will sob and grind their teeth.

What are you doing with what the Lord has given to you?  We can not sit feeling worthless and hiding from our inheritance because our gift are hidden in the ground.

we should be taking it and allowing God to trust us with more this is what we call living to our full potential

The Sheep and the Goat

Verse 31-46

The son of man will come in all his glory. All the angels will come with him. Then he will sit on his throne in the glory of heaven. All the nations will be gathered in front of him. He will separate the people in two groups. He will be like a Shepard who separates the sheep from the goats, he will put the sheep to his right and the goats to his left.

Then the king will speak to those on his right. He will say, ‘my father has blessed you come and take what is yours. It is the kingdom prepared for you since the world was created. I was hungry and yo gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you gave them to me. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Then the people who have done what is right will answer him. ‘Lord ‘ they will ask, ‘when did we see you hungry and feed you? When did we see you thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you as a stranger and invite you in? when did we see you needing clothes and give them to you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go visit you?’

The king replied ‘What I’m about to tell you is true. Anything you did for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did for me’

Then he will say to those on his left. ‘You are cursed! go away from me into the fire that burn forever . It has been prepared for the devil and his angels. I was hungry but you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty but you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger but you didn’t invite me in. I needed clothes but you did not give me any. I was sick and in prison but you did not take care of me.

They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did I see you hungry or thirsty and not help you? when did we see you as a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison and not help you?’

He will reply, ‘what I’m about to tell you is true. Anything you didn’t do for one of the least important of these, you didn’t do for me.

Then they will go away to be punished forever. But those who have done what is right will receive eternal life.

This one right here, what ever you have done for someone less fortunate is like doing for Jesus. If you have Christ, our God  in your life than you should have been blessed with compassion, and our goals should be his grace.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 22

Verse 1-14

Jesus told them more stories He said,

Here is what the kingdom of heaven is like. A king prepared a wedding dinner for his son.

he sent his servants to those who had been invited to the dinner. The servants told them to come but they refused.

Then he sent some more servants. He said ‘tell those that were invited that I have prepared my dinner. I have killed my oxen and fattest cattle. Everything is ready, come to the wedding dinner.’

But people paid no attention,. One went away to his field. another went to his business. The rest grabbed his servants. They treated them badly and then killed them.

The king became very angry. He sent his army to destroy the murderers and burned their city.

Then the king said to his servant. The wedding banquet is ready, but those that I invited didn’t deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite anyone you can find.’

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find both good and bad and the wedding hall was filled with guest.

But when the king came in to see the guest he noticed a man who wasn’t wearing any clothes.

The King asked,

‘Friend, how did you get in here without wearing any clothes?’ the man was speechless.

Then the king told the attendants, ‘tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for many are invited, but feww are chosen.’

*gnashing- grinding, gritting

This scripture was right on time. As I am preparing for today’s Journey in Praise Reflections, the question is; what do we serve?

This scripture has taught me, we don’t just serve the word of God to people. The king is having a wedding banquet and he tells his servants go on the street corners, the internet, and bring all the people you can find, good or bad.

Some will not make it in, but those who will come ready and willing. The question that we need to ask ourselves on our Journey is “Am I living for my eternity”
Religious leaders question Jesus about paying Taxes

Verse 15-22

The eord says then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. They sent their disciples to him along with Herodains.

“Teacher, we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to caesar or not?” The pharisees disciples asked Jesus.

But Jesus knowing their evil intent, said,

You hypocrites! Why are you trying to trap me?

Show me the coin used for paying the tax.

The brought him a denarius and he asked them

Who’s portrait is this? Who’s inscription?

“Caesar’s” they replied

Then Jesus said

Give to caesar what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is God’s.

When they heard this they were amazed. They left him amd went away.

What are you taking?

As I went over this scripture verses, my spirit reminded me of my prayers.

“Lord remove pride and flesh wants from me.”

When walking in righteousness we should be giving God what is his.

The people that we serve the word of God to, there spirit man is what we are bringing to the king. Are we taking the credit?

We are bot the ones who save people, we are the vessels that are used to get them there.

Bringing a spirit to walk along a righteous path is like paying your taxes to God, giving to him what is his.

Giving a person us via our time, our word is not going to give them what their spirit needs.

Religious leaders question Jesus about resurrection

Verse 23-33

The word says; the sameday the saducees who were saying there was no resurrection came and asked him.

“Teacher, Moses told us that if a man dies without children his brother must marry his widow and have children for him. Now there is seven brothers among us the first one marroed and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother. The samething happen with the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. Finally the woman died. At the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her.”

Jesus replied;

You are in error because you do not know the scriptures or power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be guven in marriage, they will be like angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you,I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

The wors says when the crowds heard this they were astonished at his teachings.

The Lord is the God of the living, our spirits keep moving going on to our next, after our spirit man has been built.

Our spirit being resurrected to the next. Our spirit rise to our eternity.

Religious leaders question Jesus about the greatest commandment

Verse 34-40

The word says that when the pharisees learned that Jesus silenced the saducees, they got together.

The word says the expert among them tested Jesus amd asked him.

“Teacher what is the greatest commandmentbib the law?”

Jesus answered;

You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and your mind. This is the first and great commandment.

And second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

On these two commandments hang all the law amd prophets

The word says while the Pharisees were together Jesus asked them;

What do you think about the Christ? Who’s son is He?

They anwered him

“The son of David”

Jesus then asked them,

How is is that in spirit David calls him Lord saying

‘The Lord said to my Lord “sit at my right hand till I made your enemies your footstool.”

If David calls him Lord, how is He his son?

The word says no one was able to answer him and that was the last day they questioned him.

Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself.

The firsr commandment is easy to alot of us, but what about the second?

Are you willing to give up your eternity to dislike, insult, or hate someone.

Some people can make it hard to love them through their ugly but the truth where tgere is ugly, God is missing.

We have to be ready to pray a person through their ugly with our faith. Our hearts, and love should be petitioning a request to God on their behalf

Today take the time to ask God to allow you the ability to love your neighbor pass their outer layer.

It is in him that we are moving in that second commandment in truth

Be Blessed

Let’s get into the word of the Lord

The disciples argue who would be the greatest.

Verse 1 – 6

The disciples went to Jesus and asked him who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus called a little child and had him stand among them and he said;

I tell you the truth. Unless you change and become more like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore whoever humbles himself like the child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

And whoever welcomes like this, is in my name welcomes me, but if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large Millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

The process of being childlike is to let go of our private way to be humble and open-hearted

Jesus warns against temptation

Verse 7– 9

The word says,

woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin, these things must come, but won’t to the man to whom they come!

If your hand or foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away, it is better for you to enter life maimed or cripple then to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into Eternal fire and if your eyes cause you to sin gauge it out and throw it away it is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

Hey man! The Lord tells us to cut out things that cause us to send, and that can mean people as well. Would you rather go to hell and be tortured for Eternal or have life that is the question?

Jesus warns against looking down on others

Verse 10 – 14

See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones for I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the 99 on the hill and go look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it I tell you the truth, he is happier about the one sheep then about the 99 that did not wander off and the same way your father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

This part of the scripture reminds us that the Lord is looking for his lost sheep.

we are so quick to criticize others about what they are doing, wearing, and whatever sin there is. But truth, why can’t we just guide the sheep back to its Shepherd?

Jesus teaches how to treat a Believer who sins.

Verse 15-20

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens you have won your brother over, but if he will not listen take one or two others along so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three Witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them tell it to the church, and if he refuses to listen even to the church treat him as you would a pagan or tax collector.

What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on Earth will be locked in heaven which you unlock on Earth will be unlocked in heaven.

Again here is what I tell you supposed to of you on Earth agree about anything you ask for. My Father in heaven will do it for you where 3 people meet together in my name I am there with them.

Accountability! That’s where we stand not expecting everyone to submit to a gentle nudge or warning the Lord says that if they listen then He will remain your brother / sister but if he doesn’t then he is not for you.

We tend to get angry when people don’t listen to us but the truth is simple and they are not willing to listen then we must leave them where they are.

Allowing their need to not listen will put you in a place of unlocking a simple way on earth a cold heart, take it to prayer, the Lord reminds us when one or more are gathered God is in the Mist amen!

The servant who had no mercy

Verse 21 – 35

The word says Peter came to Jesus and ask them how many times should he forgive someone for sinning against him? Should it be up to seven times?

Jesus answered him

I tell you not seven times but 77 times

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a king who wanted to collect all the money his servant sold him. As the king began to do it, a man who owed him millions of dollars was brought to him. The man was not able to pay him.

So his master gave an order. The man, his wife, his children, and all he and had to be sold to pay back what he old owed.

What servant fell on his knees in front of him give me time he beg I’ll pay everything back.

His master felt sorry for him he gave him what he told and let him go.

But then the servant went out and found one of the other servants who old him a few dollars he grabbed him and began to choke him.

Pay back what you owe me he said.

The other servant fell to his knees give me time, he backs and I’ll pay you back.

But the first servant refused, instead he went and had the man thrown into prison.

the man who would be held there until he could pay back what he owes. The other servants saw what happened. And troubled them greatly, they went and told their Master everything that happened. Then the master called the first servant in. you evil servant he said I forgave all that you owed me because you beg me to you have nomercy on the other servant just like I had mercy on you?

an anger his master turned him over to the jailer he will be punished until he pays back everything he owe.

This is how my Father in heaven will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.

As Believers we forget this Factor. and to some it doesn’t exist.

you can’t expect the father to forgive you if you can’t forgive another 77 times. Because I’m sure the Lord has forgiven you 777,777,777. I’m just saying find it in yout heart to be more like your Father and less like the people who are after the somethings as you. Treating others how they treat you will not get you to righteousness. How can you get to righteousness if you can’t forgive 77 times.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 7

Jesus Teaches about Criticizing others

Verse 1- 6

Jesus teaches us, do not judge or we will be judged with the same measure of judgement that you used to judge. The Lord says we can’t look at the little things about others and criticize them and we have bigger things blocking our vision.

The Lord shows us that we can’t judge walking around crittizeing others when we are showing someone that something is not right, we should be standing in position as a helper not as a demolition. It is important that we are uplifting each other toward God.

Verse 7 -12

Jesus Teaches about Asking, Seeking, knocking

Jesus tells us ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to you. Everyone who does these things shall receive.

Jesus askes who is Gods son and ask for bread and get stone. Our ask for a fish and be given a snake? Jesus tells us that the Father in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask him. The Lord says in everything so unto others what you would have them do to you. This is said by the Law and the Prophets.

It’s important to our spirit that we do right by the people that come into our lives. We should allow ourselves to not walk around wishing misery on each other. We should be able to see that we all are trying to move forward in life. We all are out for the greater good even though the good to many are different it’s important to know that we all desire it which means that there is no need to want someone else to fail or need.

If we can help in our time, finances if God has already sent you an overflow be ready to spread that over flow so that others may be able to have a little in their cup. Remember a cup that overflows end up wasting what if you don’t pour it into another glass.

Verse 13 &14

Jesus Teaches about the Way to Heaven

Jesus teaches us that if we want to head into destruction we would go the road that has many people and large options but if we want to get in to heaven there’s only one way and few take that road.

The walk as a believer is a walk of discipline and relationship. It takes lots of patience to stand and walk righteously a relationship with God puts us in a place that we are seeking him and when we stand in that place challenges will come and test your faith to allow you to build another level of faith in God. Many will try to fit through that gate but it takes humbleness to be able to fit and continue walking. Knowing God provides all and we when we are tempted still keep moving in what God has instructed. The word says

“don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

When we are weak in faith as soon as a stress factor comes with tomorrows worry we seem to try to fall off the narrow road and try to find our own path.

Verse 15-20

Jesus Teaches about Fruit in People’s Lives

Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets, they come like wolves in sheep clothing. Pay attention to their fruit. Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Especially in this day you can scroll Facebook and find many people with the title Prophet before their names. Take the time to sit and speak with God before you run and do what they are telling you that “God said” look around them and see what God is moving in their life. Remember everything that comes from God is good.

Verse 21-29

Jesus Teaches about Those Who Build Houses on Rock and Sand.

Jesus says you can cry out Lord, Lord and still not get into heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will get there.
“They may say didn’t I prophesy in your name and drive out demons and perform miracles in your name. and I will say to them get away from me you evil doers.”

Jesus tells us that if we listen to his words and put them in practice it is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The storm came and the house did not move. But the ones who hears the words and doesn’t put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The storm can and the house fell with a great crash.

The word says when Jesus was done teaching the crowd was amazed because he spoke with authority and not a teacher.

We must remember to apply the word of God to our lives this is important. We stand on the word of God that is solid ground if you don’t apply a practice of faith and righteous living you cannot think that you will stand strong in the tough times.

You cannot turn your back on God when the sun is up and then when the rain starts to get heavy you scream Lord, Lord. We cannot be hypocrites; our walk should place us in the position to want the Heavenly Father to have a smile on his face because he knows that we are strong in faith because we practice I every day. He has been training us for a time like this. What are you going to do in the storm be the light on the night stand or be the light under the night stand.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going forth with full power, not half power but full power. When we walk in faith, we are walking with God, we are allowing God to led us in to everyplace that he knows that we will soar in. So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation of faith with bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer.

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going through this day with the grace of God. It is amazing all the things that God does on an everyday basis. If we take the time to look around at the way that God shifts then you will catch a living testimony in the process.

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God, some of the ways that I serve new-journey-in-praise-flyeris as the founder of From Sinner to Saint Blog and prayer wall (If you have a request you can send an email to fromsinnertosaint103@gmail.com) I also serve as the founder of Journey in Praise Ministry http://www.journeyinpraise.wordpress.com . Matthew Chapter 5

Verse 1 – 12

The scripture says when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him and he began to teach them. The Lord said

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

For they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

For they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

For they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure heart,

For they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The Lord continues saying blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

When we go forth we know that many things and people will come at us the wrong way, testing us to see if our joy will shake, if our faith will crumble it is in the words of Jesus Christ, what should be remembered at that time. Your spirit has been knocked around Jesus says in verse 3 you have the kingdom of heaven. You are rich, your spirit is rich there is no need to feel like you are less than, you have the key to the kingdom. You are suffering a loss, you will be comforted God will do it for you. You will just need to go to him for all things. Praise God!

Verse 13-16

Jesus teaches about salt and light

The Lord tells us that we are what makes the earth better, if we lose our better if we lose our zeal for God then we aren’t going to be able to produce good. We will just be a waste.

The Lord tells us that we are the light of the world. We were not meant to be hidden and stand down. We were meant to be placed high so that everyone can be able to see what God has revealed through us. We are to bring Gods light to dark places.

In this day we look at the people on the street speaking Gods word like they are crazy and there are many of you that have been called to be evangelist and to go and shine Gods light in dark places but you don’t want others to call you crazy because you are speaking God’s word. I hear the Lord saying remember Jeremiah. Stand on my word!

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Verse 17-20

Jesus teaches about Law

Jesus reminds us that he didn’t come to remove the Law he came to fulfill  Gods words through the prophet. Jesus says until the heaven and earth disappears no word from the law will disappear until everything is accomplished. If you think that you can break any commandment and teach someone else how to break any commandments you will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus says unless your righteousness surpasses a Pharisees and the teachers of law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven

Amen we haven’t seen the heaven and earth disappear so there is no reason that we should be editing the commandments to fit our lifestyle. What I am noticing is that parents no longer teach their children to follow the ten commandments. If we start training our children on Gods law there they will find him and peace of mind.

We want our children to be kingdom kids, and even though we are walking toward righteousness we must get our households in order. Start to make affirmation with the commandments

I am one who does not put another god before the true and living God.

I am one who does not make Idols

Begin to speak God’s law over your life and the lives of the people around you.

Verse 21- 26

Jesus teaches about anger

Jesus teaches us that yes, we were told not to kill or we will be judged. Jesus says but if you anger with you brother you will be Judged as well. The Lord says you can’t come to the alter with anger against someone else. Reconcile and then bring your gift to the alter. The Lord says settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court, you will be handed over and won’t get out until you have paid the last penny.

We must fix the situation because we really don’t need an ugly seed of anger growing with our mustard seed that’s like weeds in the garden. The Lord reminds us that we must pay our debt.

Verse 27 – 30

Jesus teaches about lust

The Lord teaches us that if anyone who is married look at another person lustfully has already committed adultery in their heart. The lord tells us that if we want to blame a body part for our sin, then get rid of the body part. You should rather lose that body part then to go to hell.

We should not allow even ourselves to keep us from obeying Gods Law

Verse 31 – 32

The Lord tells us that unless our mate committed marital unfaithfulness if you move on to another person it will be still adultery.

We should be able to work things out we should be able to figure each other out when we are married. Currently, we do not take the time to get to know each other and spend time knowing each other’s people. These are things that we are supposed to do before we make the comitment of marriage. Some just want the big wedding and so marriage has stopped being taken so serious. Family is anointed by God and somewhere in the shift of generations we have moved from traditional and started editing the order of things. We want everything quickly not realizing that slow cooked things tend to linger longer.

Verse 33-37

Jesus teaches about vows

The Lord teaches us not to break our oath, to keep the oaths that we have made with the Lord. The Lord tells us not to swear on heaven because it is Gods throne and do not swear on the earth because it is Gods footstool or by Jerusalem because it is the city of the great king. Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

We must remember to stand on our word if you say you are going to do something follow through. If you tell God that you are going to do something follow through. We break promises to God all the time.“ Lord, if you get me out of this, I will make sure I do that” And the Lord comes through on his behalf and he sitting there waiting earth years for you to move.

Verse 38-42

Jesus teaches about retaliation

The Lord teaches yes you heard and eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. But do not withhold and evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek turn the other cheek. If someone wants to take your shirt give them your jacket as well. If someone forces you to go a mile, you go two miles. The Lord says give to the one who wants to borrow from you.

I believe a lot of people do not believe in this part of the scripture. What I will ask you is Do you have faith? Everything that was said in verses 1- 12 is the reason that you do not worry about what people do think or want. If someone hits your cheek do you not believe that Gods reaction is more solid then yours. Your reaction will have you walking away feeling convicted. If someone asks you to go beyond the earth, do you believe that the Lord will tenfold your sacrifice. Our faith should surpass our reactions.

Verse 43-48

Jesus says it was once told to love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But you should love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. That you may be sons of your father in heaven. Jesus asks if you love those who love you what reward will you get? Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect

If we walked around helping just those who help us what satisfaction will you get. We are here to shine bright so what do you do shut the light off for those that you don’t know who are trying to climb over a hurdle.

Ezekiel Chapter 39

images

In this chapter The Lord tells Ezekiel to prophesy against Gog and say that the Lord will Turn him around and send him against the mountain of Israel. That is where the Lord will strike his bow from his left hand and his arrows will fall from his right hands. On the mountain of Israel is where he and his army will become food to the birds and wild animals.

The Lord says at this time he will no longer make his holy name be profaned. The nations will know that His name is the Holy One in Israel.

The Lord says that their weapons will be used as fuel for the people of Israel, for seven years they will not have to cut down trees because they will use the weapons of Gog and his army. The Lord says they will loot and rob all who loot and robbed them.

The Lord says that He will give Gog a burial-place in Israel, It will block the way of the travelers, because Gog and his Army will be buried there. It will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog. For seven months the house of Israel will bury them in order to cleanse the land. Men will be regularly employed to cleanse the land.

They will go through the land and one man will mark the sites for the gravediggers to bury the bones.

The Lord says to Ezekiel to call all the birds and wild animals and there will be a great sacrifice. you will drink the blood and eat the flesh of great men.

The Lord says from that day the house of Israel will know that He is Lord. all the nations will know that the people of Israel went in to exile for their sin and I hid my face from them and dealt with them according to their sin.

The Lord says I will now bring them  back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel. They will forget their shame and all unfaithfulness.

After reading this chapter I have been reminded, that God wants us to forget our shame, after we have been cleansed and saved. Sometimes we hold on to the use to; as we are trying to walk in faith. we can’t build a faith like bricks if our bricks are cracked.  cracked bricks will collapse. God wants us to let go of what we once did, he has dealt with us accordingly. Jesus has already died for those sins, he laid it on the cross for us. Saints I tell you what ever wrong you have done that kept you from God, is in the pass it’s on your dirty garment which has been taken off of you. Allow yourself to understand that the Lord has already erased that he turned his back from your sin and he now looks at you with compassion. So if the Lord has turned his back from your sin then you need to as well. It’s the only way for you to build your faith in God that will not allow life’s storms to come and knock you down.

Now for the Important part if you are looking for Salvation if you will like to start a new and be in the presence of God turn your bible, google, or download the free bible app and turn to Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth that Jesus christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. start a prayer life and get in to the word and allow the Lord to turn it around for you.

Be Blessed.

Ezekiel Chapter 33

logo_2042734_webHey Everyone

Thanks for joining in, to my followers you all are appreciated for joining in fellowship with me. If this is your first time welcome, let me introduce myself.

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God. One of the ways that I serve the Lord is this blog, here is where we join in and study the word of the Lord . The holy spirit allows me to break down the word and the lesson. There is also the Journey In Praise ministries and here’s how you can connect to them. at http://www.journeyinpraise.wordpress.com you can find the scripture of the day. Next there the broadcast on Periscope @WilhelminaLundy  and YouTube @journeyinpraise here is where we are building our foundation of faith one brick at a time with christian books. we are on Prophet Arise by John Eckhardt. Last but no least there’s the podcast which can be found on soundcloud and Itunes. And last but not least, the prayer wall If you would like to be added to the prayer wall here at the office you can email me at fromsinnertosaint103@gmail.com.  Okay let’s get in to the word

Ezekiel Chapter 33

In the begin of this chapter Ezekiel explains to us what a watchmen is responsible for. The watchmen has the duties of the prophet. when the sword of God is coming he sees it and is supposed to warn the people of what is coming. Now the Lord says, If the watchmen warns the people and they don’t believe him or listen when he dies it will be his own fault. But If the watchmen gets the warning and doesn’t tell the people then the mans blood is on the watchmen hand.

The Lord tells Ezekiel to be the watchmen for Israel. The Lord tells Ezekiel to tell the wicked man that he will surely die. Now Ezekiel doesn’t try to persuade the wicked man to change his life and he dies then the blood is on Ezekiel hands. But If Ezekiel warns the wicked man and the wicked man doesn’t turn his life around then he will die for his sins. but Ezekiel will have saved himself.

The Lord tells Ezekiel to let Israel know that they are weighed down by their offenses and sin.The Lord pleased with Israel to turn from their wicked ways. letting them know that he does not take pleasure punishing them, but would rather see them turn their lives around.

Jerusalem’s fall explained

The Lord tells Ezekiel to remind Israel that they do not deserve to possess the land that was promised Abraham. they are Idolizing and living against the Laws. The Lord tells Ezekiel that even the people who come to him are in devotion with their mouths and greedy with their heart.

We must go forth with the word of the Lord.  every time the Lord tells us to do something, we most move in obedience and after the heart of God. When we walk righteously, our main goal is to save another mans life who is not living right by God. We all know what will happen to the unrighteous, so the most Important part is to show the road to everlasting life.

Now for the most important part. If you are looking for salvation and would like to begin a relationship with God. Google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth theat Jesus is Lord and died on the cross and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Get yourself into the word and allow the holy spirit to move in your life.

Ezekiel Chapter 25

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for joining in. My followers thank you appreciate you thank you for joining in to the fellowship. If you are new to this blog welcome, let me introduce myself.

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God. Some of the ways that I serve God is this blog, here is our meeting place to fellowship the word of the Lord. Other than this bible study there is the Journey In Praise Ministry you can find on Facebook at@journeyinpraise and there you can find all three outlets of Journey In Praise( Podcast, Blog,Broadcast). Last but not least the prayer wall you can email me at fromsinnertosaint103@gmail.com if you leave your name and request I would love to add you to the wall and pray with you. Okay let’s get in to the word.

Ezekiel Chapter 25 prophecy against Ammon

Ezekiel said that the word of the Lord came to him and told him to turn his face to Ammonites because they said that Aha when the sanctuary when it was disrespected, when the land of Israel was turned in to waste and when the people of Judah was exiled. The Lord says he is turning then over to the people of the East as a possession. They will set up camps, eat your fruit and drink your milk. I will turn Rabbah ( the chief city of the people of Ammonites) a pasture for camels and Ammon a resting place for sheep and then they will know the He is Lord. The Lord says because Ammonites laughed and celebrated with malice toward the land of Israel. The Lord says he will give them as plunder ( a place to steal from) to the nations. he says I will destroy you and you will know that I am the Lord.

A Prophecy Against Moab

The Lord tells Ezekiel that he will give Moab to the east along with the Ammonites because they laughed and said to look the house of Judah is like other nations.

Prophecy Against Edom

They Lord says because Edom took revenge on the house of Judah the Lord will release his wrath on Edom and they will know his vengeance.

Prophecy Against Philistia

Because Philistine acted out in vengeance and malice against Judah the Lord will act out and show his wrath toward the Philistines.

This chapter makes us realize one thing when someone is going through hard times don’t try to step on them don’t kick them when they are done. All who the Lord told Ezekiel to turn his back toward were those who wanted to laugh and attack Judah when they were dealing with their punishment. Be carful how you treat people, you never know what they could be going through.

Now for the Important part If you are looking for Salvation, you desire to have a personal relationship with the sovereign God. Google, download the free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord , and believe with your heart that he died for our sins, and God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Study the word and allow the Lord to move mountain in your life.
