Isaiah Chapter 1

Blessing everyone,

Glory be to God, we have seen another day! As I sat down to touch the keyboard, I had just finished speaking to the Lord about my concerns. I began to feel comforted, the Lord spoke reminding me that things that are out of my control, do not concern me!

We  are coming out of the book of Matthew, what I learned from the journey is that somethings must happen, If you walk in it faithfully, you will see God. My fight is in my prayers and so are yours. Our faith in God to guide us, by his will, not ours.

If you are experiencing a fight that comes with confusion, anger, distress that’s not your fight. After the Lord told me it did not concern me, I sat down to work. We can not play with the enemy, when we have work to do for the Kingdom.

Isaiah Chapter 1

Judgement on immoral and idolatrous men

Rebellious Nation

Verse 1-6

This is the vision is Isaiah about Israel and Judah, this happen during Uzziah’s reign

The Lord says to Isaiah, “I have taken care of my children and they rebelled against me. Even an ox and a donkey knows who they belong to. Yet Israel doesn’t know, my people do not understand.”

A sinful nation, Isaiah tells nus the Lord says a sinful nation is a people loaded with guilt, a group of evil doers. Children willing to walk into corruption they have turned against the Lord; They have rejected the Lord of Israel and turned their backs on him.

The Lord asks “Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you continue to rebell. Your head is sick, your heart is weak from the sole of your foot to the top of your head, their is no soundness. only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil.

The Lord shows Isaiah how people were sinful. The sin has us willing to be beaten down in life, than give up our sinful nature. now yes this happen years ago but if we serve a consistent God why would he bother changing his system. when the people are no different now than then. So now we stand with open wounds, hurt scared, broken. Has anyone ever felt that way? Before we get to know Jesus everything feels like it’s just weighing down on us, on our spirit. That’s usually the point that some of us have to get, before we fully give it all up to God. Let’s continue!

Verse 7-20

Isaiah says the Lord said, the country is desolate. The cities are burned down by fire and the fields stripped by strangers right in front of you. The Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem) is left like a shelter in the vineyard, as a hut in a garden of cucumbers, as a city surrounded by devastation.

Isaiah goes on to say to the rulers of Jerusalem; “Hear the word of the Lord, listen to the Laws and instructions of God.” The Lord asks the people of Gomorrah;

what were their sacrifices to him?

The Lord says “I have had enough of your burnt offerings of rams and the fat of your well fed cattle and don’t enjoy the blood of bulls, lambs, or goats. When you come to me, who has required this from your hands, disturbing my court? Bring no more empty sacrifices, incense are horrible to me. The new moons, the sabbath, and the calling of assemblies, I can not endure wrongdoing and the sacred assembly meeting.

Your new moons and your appointed feast my soul hates. They have become a burden to me, and I’m tired of bearing them.

When you spread out your hands, I will hid my eyes from you; Even though you keep praying, I will not hear you, your hands are full of blood.

The Lord tells Israel to get clean, put aside their rebellion in front of Him, to stop doing evil things.

Through the prophet the Lord tells Jerusalem to learn to do good and seek justice. To send away oppressors, defend the fatherless and plead for the widow.  “Come on and let us talk about this.” The lord says through the prophet. “Your sin is like scarlet. They shall be as white  as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land, If you refuse to obey and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Amen! The Lord is telling the people of Israel, you just don’t listen, even the animals listen, except you. The Lord is saying get it together, stop doing evil things, stop allowing yourselves to be used against me. If you refuse to obey, you will go down by that sword.

That takes me back to the book of Matthew, when Jesus was being arrested and one of his followers pulled a sword and Jesus said “Live by the sword, die by the sword. what you do will determine your end. Let’s continue!

verse 21-31

The Lord says How does the faithful city become a Harlot? You were full of justice and righteousness, deep in it, but now your murders. The Lord says through the prophet “Your silver has become worthless, your wine diluted, your princes are rebellious and socialize with thieves, everyone loves bribes and follow after rewards. They are not willing to help the fatherless or the widows (single families)

The Lord says through the prophet;

I will rid myself of my adversaries, and take vengeance on my enemies, I will turn my hand against you and purge away your worthlessness, and take away all of your composites.

I will restore your leaders to the first way it was and then you will become a city of righteousness and faith.

Zion will be delivered. Her pentitant ones with righteousness, but rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those that deny God will die.

You will be ashamed because of sacred oaks, in which you have enjoyed.

You will be like an oaks with fading leaves, like a garden without water.

The strong man will become tinder and his work, as a spark; both will burn together with no one to quench the fire

This is just the beginning! Isaiah was used by God to deliver this message, and it was mighty. The Lord spoke about bringing Jesus to restore the relationships with the people (us) and Him, just to allow us to walk in righteousness again.

To break the stronghold of disobedience. If we do not obey good, everything we do will be the spark to a fire.

Be Blessed!

Matthew Chapter 22

Verse 1-14

Jesus told them more stories He said,

Here is what the kingdom of heaven is like. A king prepared a wedding dinner for his son.

he sent his servants to those who had been invited to the dinner. The servants told them to come but they refused.

Then he sent some more servants. He said ‘tell those that were invited that I have prepared my dinner. I have killed my oxen and fattest cattle. Everything is ready, come to the wedding dinner.’

But people paid no attention,. One went away to his field. another went to his business. The rest grabbed his servants. They treated them badly and then killed them.

The king became very angry. He sent his army to destroy the murderers and burned their city.

Then the king said to his servant. The wedding banquet is ready, but those that I invited didn’t deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite anyone you can find.’

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find both good and bad and the wedding hall was filled with guest.

But when the king came in to see the guest he noticed a man who wasn’t wearing any clothes.

The King asked,

‘Friend, how did you get in here without wearing any clothes?’ the man was speechless.

Then the king told the attendants, ‘tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for many are invited, but feww are chosen.’

*gnashing- grinding, gritting

This scripture was right on time. As I am preparing for today’s Journey in Praise Reflections, the question is; what do we serve?

This scripture has taught me, we don’t just serve the word of God to people. The king is having a wedding banquet and he tells his servants go on the street corners, the internet, and bring all the people you can find, good or bad.

Some will not make it in, but those who will come ready and willing. The question that we need to ask ourselves on our Journey is “Am I living for my eternity”
Religious leaders question Jesus about paying Taxes

Verse 15-22

The eord says then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. They sent their disciples to him along with Herodains.

“Teacher, we know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to caesar or not?” The pharisees disciples asked Jesus.

But Jesus knowing their evil intent, said,

You hypocrites! Why are you trying to trap me?

Show me the coin used for paying the tax.

The brought him a denarius and he asked them

Who’s portrait is this? Who’s inscription?

“Caesar’s” they replied

Then Jesus said

Give to caesar what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is God’s.

When they heard this they were amazed. They left him amd went away.

What are you taking?

As I went over this scripture verses, my spirit reminded me of my prayers.

“Lord remove pride and flesh wants from me.”

When walking in righteousness we should be giving God what is his.

The people that we serve the word of God to, there spirit man is what we are bringing to the king. Are we taking the credit?

We are bot the ones who save people, we are the vessels that are used to get them there.

Bringing a spirit to walk along a righteous path is like paying your taxes to God, giving to him what is his.

Giving a person us via our time, our word is not going to give them what their spirit needs.

Religious leaders question Jesus about resurrection

Verse 23-33

The word says; the sameday the saducees who were saying there was no resurrection came and asked him.

“Teacher, Moses told us that if a man dies without children his brother must marry his widow and have children for him. Now there is seven brothers among us the first one marroed and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother. The samething happen with the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. Finally the woman died. At the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her.”

Jesus replied;

You are in error because you do not know the scriptures or power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be guven in marriage, they will be like angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you,I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

The wors says when the crowds heard this they were astonished at his teachings.

The Lord is the God of the living, our spirits keep moving going on to our next, after our spirit man has been built.

Our spirit being resurrected to the next. Our spirit rise to our eternity.

Religious leaders question Jesus about the greatest commandment

Verse 34-40

The word says that when the pharisees learned that Jesus silenced the saducees, they got together.

The word says the expert among them tested Jesus amd asked him.

“Teacher what is the greatest commandmentbib the law?”

Jesus answered;

You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and your mind. This is the first and great commandment.

And second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

On these two commandments hang all the law amd prophets

The word says while the Pharisees were together Jesus asked them;

What do you think about the Christ? Who’s son is He?

They anwered him

“The son of David”

Jesus then asked them,

How is is that in spirit David calls him Lord saying

‘The Lord said to my Lord “sit at my right hand till I made your enemies your footstool.”

If David calls him Lord, how is He his son?

The word says no one was able to answer him and that was the last day they questioned him.

Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself.

The firsr commandment is easy to alot of us, but what about the second?

Are you willing to give up your eternity to dislike, insult, or hate someone.

Some people can make it hard to love them through their ugly but the truth where tgere is ugly, God is missing.

We have to be ready to pray a person through their ugly with our faith. Our hearts, and love should be petitioning a request to God on their behalf

Today take the time to ask God to allow you the ability to love your neighbor pass their outer layer.

It is in him that we are moving in that second commandment in truth

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 21

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are doing all things for your eternity. At times we have to make that choice. Will this benefit my eternity, will doing that allow me in the kingdom of God.

There will be people who will come along and try to distract you and there will be things that you just need to walk away from.

If you did all you could for the circumstance and it’s making you angry and hateful toward another.

Just simply walk away, most likely your time is up and your next is sitting there waiting on you. What is more important than your eternity?

Lets get in to the word of God!

Matthew Chapter 21

Jesus enters Jerusalem

Verse 1-11

The word says as approaching Jerusalem, they came to bethphage. It was on the Mount of Olives Jesus sent two disciples ahead he said to them;

Go to the Village ahead of you, as you get there you will find a donkey tied up.

Her cold will be with her and tie them and bring them to me if anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them. The owner will send them right away.

The word says this happened so that the word spoken through the prophet would come true it says.

Say to the city of Zion, see, you can come see you he is gentle and riding on a donkey. He is riding on a donkey’s Colt (Zechariah 9:9)

The word says the disciples went and did what Jesus told them to do. They brought the donkey and the colt.

They Place their coats on them then Jesus sat on the coats the word says a very large crowd spread their coats on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them out on the road.

Some of the people went ahead of him and some of the people followed him. They all shouted,

” Hosanna to the son of David!

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. (Psalms 118:26) hosanna in the highest heaven!

The word says when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up. The people asked “who is this?”

The crowds answered “this is Jesus he is a prophet from Nazareth in Galilee”

Jesus came on the earth confirming the words of the prophets and all things he did.

When we think about speaking over our lives, we should think about how Jesus walked in past that the father gave to the prophet.

So when you speak over your life your children’s your spouse’s life Son and Holy Spirit will confirm your words.

Jesus clears the temple

Verse 12 – 17

The word says Jesus enter the temple area he started chasing out the people who were in the temple selling and buying things. He turned over their tables the word also says he turned over benches of those who are selling doves

Jesus said to them

It is written that the Lord said my house will be called a house where people can pray Isaiah 56:7 but you are making it a den for robbers Jeremiah 7:11

The word says that the Blind and the disabled went to Jesus at the temple. There he healed them. Jesus at the temple. They’re he heals him. The chief fries and the teachers of the law so the wonderful things he did. They also saw the children and the Temple area shouting Hosanna to the son of David but when they saw all that was going on the word says they became angry.

They asked Jesus; “Do you hear what these children are saying?”

Jesus replied

Yes, haven’t you ever read about it in Scripture? It says you have made sure that children and infants Praise You Psalms 8:2

The word says then Jesus left the people and went out of the city to Bethany he spent the night there.

The temple / Church is not the marketplace. There is a time and place for everything. The place where we stand and vulnerability for guidance and prayer and then here we are having people try to get over to make a sale haggling the church.

Notice how the chief priests and the teachers weren’t feeling praise for the healing but they were okay with turning the temple into a Marketplace.

And because they couldn’t say anything about the Turning of benches, and tables they decided to say something about the children and evening that Jesus was like nope, not happening did you read the scripture where it says children and infants Praise You word confirmed.

The Fig Tree dries up

Verse 18 – 22

The Lord says early in the morning Jesus  was headed back to Jerusalem. He was hungry, he saw a fig tree by the road. He went up to it to get a piece of fruit but found nothing except leaves

Jesus said;

May you never bare fruit again

The word says right away the tree dried up.

when the disciples saw the tree dry up they were amazed they asked Jesus

how did the Fig Tree dry up so quickly?

Jesus replied;

What I’m about to tell you is true. you must have faith and not doubt. Then you can do what was done to the fig tree. And you can say to this mountain, go and throw yourself into the sea. It will be done. If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray

This chapter, I mentioned that the Lord will confirm the words of his servant. Well it’s our faith that brings us to that level our faith that carries us to the next level the face that what we declare in prayer we will walk in or are descendants will walk in it without faith our words will not be confirmed.

The authority of Jesus is questioned

Verse 23 – 27

The word says Jesus entered the temple Courtyard while he was teaching the chief priests in Elders came to him.

They asked Jesus by what Authority are you doing these things? Who gave you this Authority?

Jesus replied

I will also ask you one question. If you answer me I will tell you by what Authority I am doing these things. Where did John the baptism come from? was it from heaven? Or did it come from Men?

the scripture says they talk to each other about it they answered finally.

” if we say heaven he will ask then why didn’t you believe him? But if we say for men? we are afraid of the people Everyone believe said John was a prophet.”

so they answered Jesus we don’t know

Jesus said, then I won’t tell you by what Authority I am doing these things either.

This verse speaks volumes we are so quick to be ready to question others but are we willing to speak truth when we answer them.

what was it for the chief priests to say John’s baptism Came From Heaven they didn’t want to be proven wrong?

To say men we would upset the people who believe John to be a prophet. imagine the teacher of Law and chief priests being led by people and not God I don’t know about that.

The story of the two sons

verse 28-32

What do you think about this/ A man had two sons, he went to the first one and said,

‘Son go and work today in the vineyard.’

‘I will not’ the son answered, but later he changed his mind and went.

Then the father went to the second son and asked the same thing.

The son answered, ‘I will, Sir.’ But he did not go.

which of the two son’s did what the father wanted?

“The first” The disciples answered. Jesus said to them.

What I’m about to tell you is true, Tax collectors and prostitutes will enter the kingdom of God ahead of you. John came to show you the right way to live and you did not believe him, but the Tax collector and prostitutes did. you saw this. But even then you did not turn away from your sins and believe him.

Are you going to walk in what’s right? The first son may have said no, I’m not going to work in your vineyard but after a while he got up and went to work. Just like the Tax collectors and prostitutes. While their in their sin they are enjoying themselves but in their mind the are believing John and it is doing something in their spirit.

That’s what happens with us, the Lord keeps working on us at first we will be all in our free will enjoying the feeling of doing what we want right or wrong but then we will hear a word from the Lord and that’s when it will start stirring in our spirit. which moves us to say yes. Remember Moses he said “Lord, I can’t do that I have issues with my speech”  yet Moses still went to Egypt.

The second son was like many, Oh yes sir, I’ll do what you ask of me, but doesn’t follow through. We have believers that will say, yes Lord! I’ll give up everything. These are the people that say, ‘not that Lord.’  ‘I’m not ready to do that either’

The story of the renters

Verse 33-46

Jesus said;

Listen to another story.

A man who owned some land planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it. He dug a pit for a wine-press in it. He also built  a looking tower. He rented the vineyard out  to some farmers. Then he went away on a Journey.

When harvest time approached, he sent his servants to collect his share of the fruit. But the renters grabbed his servants, they beat one of them, killed another. They through stones at the third to kill him.

Then the man sent other servants to the renters. He sent more than he did the first time. The renters treated them the same way.

Last of all he sent his son. ‘They will respect my son.’ he said.

But the renters saw his son coming. They said to each other. ‘This is the one who will receive all the owners property someday. Come, lets kill him. Then everything will be ours.’

So they took him and through him out of the vineyard, then they killed him.

“When the owner of the vineyard comes back, what will he do to those renters?

“He will destroy those evil people” they replied “Then he will rent the vineyard to other renters. They will give him his share of the crop at the harvest time”

Jesus said to them

Haven’t you ever read what the scriptures say “The stone the builders didn’t accept. has become the most important stone of all.

The Lord has done it.

It is wonderful in our eyes (psalm 118:22,23)

so here is what I tell you. The kingdom of God will be taken away from you. It will be given to people who will produce it’s fruit.

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces. But the stone will crush anyone it falls on.

The chief priests and the pharisees heard Jesus’s stories. They knew he was talking about them. So they looked for a way to arrest him. But they were afraid of the crowd. The people believed  that Jesus was a prophet.

It took  me some time on this scripture. Not everyone will accept you and walk that your on.

In the mist there will be people who will try to take what God has placed for you. And they will try to destroy who you are, they will try to damage your name. You will be the stone, the builders didn’t accept.

The kingdom of God will be taken away from them and given to those who produce fruit.

Our Father (landowner) will remove the renters (evil people) from your life and so that we can produce fruit and give the lord  our praise.

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 8

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

I pray that you all are moving in faith. With a sound mind in God. The word reminds us that a wise man will build his house on rock and not sand, for when a storm comes a house on sand will sink.

Matthews Chapter 8

Verse 1 – 4

Jesus Performs many Miracles

These verses are on Jesus healing the man with Leprosy.

The word says when Jesus came down from the mountain crowds followed him. There was a man with leprosy that came and knelt in front of him. The man asked Jesus to make him mclean.

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said

“I am willing, you are cleaned.”

Jesus told the man not to tell anyone who healed him, but to show himself to the priest and offer the gifts that Moses commanded as a testimony.

When we are walking in the miracles of God there is no need to tell it on the mountain when a person see’s us then they will know exactly what is going on. I am guilty of telling it on the mountain. I can never seem to hold what God is doing in my life. This scripture I will pray into my life. Let my healing be my testimony.

Verse 5 – 13

A Roman Centurion Demonstrates Faith

The word says that when Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for his help. There was a servant that was laying paralyzed in terrible suffering.

Jesus says to the man “ I will go, and heal him”

The man begins to tell Jesus that he does not deserve to have Jesus under his roof but if Jesus would just say the word, and the servant is healed. The man begins to tell Jesus that he is a man of authority as well and if he tells his servants to go and do something they will go.

Jesus was astonished to her what the man said. The word says that Jesus said to the people that he has never seen anyone with such great faith. Jesus says many will come from the east and the west and take their place at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside in to the darkness.

Jesus tells the man to go! It will be done just a you believe it would.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.

We can be subjects of the word of God but it is when we move in faith that God has the power and authority to heal and fix all things is when we move toward that feast. You must believe in God’s power to be obedient.

Verse 14 – 17

Jesus heals peters mother-in- law and many others.

The word says that when Jesus came in peters house Peter’s mother in law was laying ing the bed dying from fever. Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her body and she got up and waited on him.

The word says when the evening came many who were demon possessed were brought to him. And he drove out spirits and healed all sick

“He took our infirmities, and carried our diseases.”

One thing came to my head when reading this part. We do not live in a day where people believe in miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe in a day where those that are believers doubt that they could be healed our mouths say won’t he do it and our brains say what am I going to do.

Verse 18 – 23

Jesus Teaches about the cost of following Him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd that followed him, he told everyone to cross to the other side of the lake. The word says a man who was a teacher of the law, came up to Jesus and said Teacher I will follow you wherever you go.

Jesus told the man that Foxes have holes and birds have nest, but the Son of man has no place to lay his head.

Another man told Jesus, that once he bury his father he will go with him and Jesus told him let the dead bury the dead and follow him.

We must be willing to understand that following Jesus may not mean stability. You’re going to have to take those risks on faith. Jesus didn’t have a place to live he was moving on faith that just like that fox had a hole and the bird had a nest that God will provide our place while we are moving forward.

When Jesus told the man to let the dead bury the dead. He may have been telling the man to follow him and live. God is like that our faith walk has us move from the things that are not of God. The man that wanted to go bury his father may have tried to put off walking in faith with Jesus. This will happen to us, when we begin to start following Jesus things will try to distract us. Remember that all things that isn’t of God does not give us life, we will have to be able to make the decision to let the dead bury the dead and live in Jesus name.

Verse 23-27

Jesus calms the storm

The word says that when Jesus got into the boat his disciples followed him and then a furious storm appeared, the waves crashed over the boat. The word says that Jesus was sleeping and his disciples woke him up saying “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

The Lord replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then the Lord got up and rebuked the storm and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and said “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey.

I have always believed that when we sleep God comes and spends time with us. Why not rest during a storm? When you rest during a storm you spend your time in faith. Not stressing about how are you going to fix it. When your faith is strong you know that God has given you the authority to tell that storm to go that it is not the center of your universe.

When we are moving in faith we cannot worry about the storm, worrying about the storm says that we lack confidence in the power of God, you cannot be a believer and doubt God.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation of faith with bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer.

Matthew Chapter 7

Jesus Teaches about Criticizing others

Verse 1- 6

Jesus teaches us, do not judge or we will be judged with the same measure of judgement that you used to judge. The Lord says we can’t look at the little things about others and criticize them and we have bigger things blocking our vision.

The Lord shows us that we can’t judge walking around crittizeing others when we are showing someone that something is not right, we should be standing in position as a helper not as a demolition. It is important that we are uplifting each other toward God.

Verse 7 -12

Jesus Teaches about Asking, Seeking, knocking

Jesus tells us ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to you. Everyone who does these things shall receive.

Jesus askes who is Gods son and ask for bread and get stone. Our ask for a fish and be given a snake? Jesus tells us that the Father in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask him. The Lord says in everything so unto others what you would have them do to you. This is said by the Law and the Prophets.

It’s important to our spirit that we do right by the people that come into our lives. We should allow ourselves to not walk around wishing misery on each other. We should be able to see that we all are trying to move forward in life. We all are out for the greater good even though the good to many are different it’s important to know that we all desire it which means that there is no need to want someone else to fail or need.

If we can help in our time, finances if God has already sent you an overflow be ready to spread that over flow so that others may be able to have a little in their cup. Remember a cup that overflows end up wasting what if you don’t pour it into another glass.

Verse 13 &14

Jesus Teaches about the Way to Heaven

Jesus teaches us that if we want to head into destruction we would go the road that has many people and large options but if we want to get in to heaven there’s only one way and few take that road.

The walk as a believer is a walk of discipline and relationship. It takes lots of patience to stand and walk righteously a relationship with God puts us in a place that we are seeking him and when we stand in that place challenges will come and test your faith to allow you to build another level of faith in God. Many will try to fit through that gate but it takes humbleness to be able to fit and continue walking. Knowing God provides all and we when we are tempted still keep moving in what God has instructed. The word says

“don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

When we are weak in faith as soon as a stress factor comes with tomorrows worry we seem to try to fall off the narrow road and try to find our own path.

Verse 15-20

Jesus Teaches about Fruit in People’s Lives

Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets, they come like wolves in sheep clothing. Pay attention to their fruit. Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Especially in this day you can scroll Facebook and find many people with the title Prophet before their names. Take the time to sit and speak with God before you run and do what they are telling you that “God said” look around them and see what God is moving in their life. Remember everything that comes from God is good.

Verse 21-29

Jesus Teaches about Those Who Build Houses on Rock and Sand.

Jesus says you can cry out Lord, Lord and still not get into heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will get there.
“They may say didn’t I prophesy in your name and drive out demons and perform miracles in your name. and I will say to them get away from me you evil doers.”

Jesus tells us that if we listen to his words and put them in practice it is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The storm came and the house did not move. But the ones who hears the words and doesn’t put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The storm can and the house fell with a great crash.

The word says when Jesus was done teaching the crowd was amazed because he spoke with authority and not a teacher.

We must remember to apply the word of God to our lives this is important. We stand on the word of God that is solid ground if you don’t apply a practice of faith and righteous living you cannot think that you will stand strong in the tough times.

You cannot turn your back on God when the sun is up and then when the rain starts to get heavy you scream Lord, Lord. We cannot be hypocrites; our walk should place us in the position to want the Heavenly Father to have a smile on his face because he knows that we are strong in faith because we practice I every day. He has been training us for a time like this. What are you going to do in the storm be the light on the night stand or be the light under the night stand.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 6

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going forth with full power, not half power but full power. When we walk in faith, we are walking with God, we are allowing God to led us in to everyplace that he knows that we will soar in. So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

To the followers of from Sinner to saint Blog welcome thanks for joining me in bible study, you all are so very much appreciated.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 5

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going through this day with the grace of God. It is amazing all the things that God does on an everyday basis. If we take the time to look around at the way that God shifts then you will catch a living testimony in the process.

Matthew Chapter 5

Verse 1 – 12

The scripture says when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him and he began to teach them. The Lord said

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

For they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

For they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

For they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure heart,

For they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The Lord continues saying blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

When we go forth we know that many things and people will come at us the wrong way, testing us to see if our joy will shake, if our faith will crumble it is in the words of Jesus Christ, what should be remembered at that time. Your spirit has been knocked around Jesus says in verse 3 you have the kingdom of heaven. You are rich, your spirit is rich there is no need to feel like you are less than, you have the key to the kingdom. You are suffering a loss, you will be comforted God will do it for you. You will just need to go to him for all things. Praise God!

Verse 13-16

Jesus teaches about salt and light

The Lord tells us that we are what makes the earth better, if we lose our better if we lose our zeal for God then we aren’t going to be able to produce good. We will just be a waste.

The Lord tells us that we are the light of the world. We were not meant to be hidden and stand down. We were meant to be placed high so that everyone can be able to see what God has revealed through us. We are to bring Gods light to dark places.

In this day we look at the people on the street speaking Gods word like they are crazy and there are many of you that have been called to be evangelist and to go and shine Gods light in dark places but you don’t want others to call you crazy because you are speaking God’s word. I hear the Lord saying remember Jeremiah. Stand on my word!

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Verse 17-20

Jesus teaches about Law

Jesus reminds us that he didn’t come to remove the Law he came to fulfill  Gods words through the prophet. Jesus says until the heaven and earth disappears no word from the law will disappear until everything is accomplished. If you think that you can break any commandment and teach someone else how to break any commandments you will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus says unless your righteousness surpasses a Pharisees and the teachers of law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven

Amen we haven’t seen the heaven and earth disappear so there is no reason that we should be editing the commandments to fit our lifestyle. What I am noticing is that parents no longer teach their children to follow the ten commandments. If we start training our children on Gods law there they will find him and peace of mind.

We want our children to be kingdom kids, and even though we are walking toward righteousness we must get our households in order. Start to make affirmation with the commandments

I am one who does not put another god before the true and living God.

I am one who does not make Idols

Begin to speak God’s law over your life and the lives of the people around you.

Verse 21- 26

Jesus teaches about anger

Jesus teaches us that yes, we were told not to kill or we will be judged. Jesus says but if you anger with you brother you will be Judged as well. The Lord says you can’t come to the alter with anger against someone else. Reconcile and then bring your gift to the alter. The Lord says settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court, you will be handed over and won’t get out until you have paid the last penny.

We must fix the situation because we really don’t need an ugly seed of anger growing with our mustard seed that’s like weeds in the garden. The Lord reminds us that we must pay our debt.

Verse 27 – 30

Jesus teaches about lust

The Lord teaches us that if anyone who is married look at another person lustfully has already committed adultery in their heart. The lord tells us that if we want to blame a body part for our sin, then get rid of the body part. You should rather lose that body part then to go to hell.

We should not allow even ourselves to keep us from obeying Gods Law

Verse 31 – 32

The Lord tells us that unless our mate committed marital unfaithfulness if you move on to another person it will be still adultery.

We should be able to work things out we should be able to figure each other out when we are married. Currently, we do not take the time to get to know each other and spend time knowing each other’s people. These are things that we are supposed to do before we make the comitment of marriage. Some just want the big wedding and so marriage has stopped being taken so serious. Family is anointed by God and somewhere in the shift of generations we have moved from traditional and started editing the order of things. We want everything quickly not realizing that slow cooked things tend to linger longer.

Verse 33-37

Jesus teaches about vows

The Lord teaches us not to break our oath, to keep the oaths that we have made with the Lord. The Lord tells us not to swear on heaven because it is Gods throne and do not swear on the earth because it is Gods footstool or by Jerusalem because it is the city of the great king. Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

We must remember to stand on our word if you say you are going to do something follow through. If you tell God that you are going to do something follow through. We break promises to God all the time.“ Lord, if you get me out of this, I will make sure I do that” And the Lord comes through on his behalf and he sitting there waiting earth years for you to move.

Verse 38-42

Jesus teaches about retaliation

The Lord teaches yes you heard and eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. But do not withhold and evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek turn the other cheek. If someone wants to take your shirt give them your jacket as well. If someone forces you to go a mile, you go two miles. The Lord says give to the one who wants to borrow from you.

I believe a lot of people do not believe in this part of the scripture. What I will ask you is Do you have faith? Everything that was said in verses 1- 12 is the reason that you do not worry about what people do think or want. If someone hits your cheek do you not believe that Gods reaction is more solid then yours. Your reaction will have you walking away feeling convicted. If someone asks you to go beyond the earth, do you believe that the Lord will tenfold your sacrifice. Our faith should surpass our reactions.

Verse 43-48

Jesus says it was once told to love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But you should love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. That you may be sons of your father in heaven. Jesus asks if you love those who love you what reward will you get? Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect

If we walked around helping just those who help us what satisfaction will you get. We are here to shine bright so what do you do shut the light off for those that you don’t know who are trying to climb over a hurdle.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 4

logo_2042734_web

Blessings everyone,

I pray that in this day the angels are lifting you up so that your feet will not strike against any stone.

It gets hard and confusing at times, just continue to push through and grab on to God’s vision. We may not know what is going to be standing in front of us, but what we do know is that we WILL be lifted over it.

Matthew Chapter 4

Satan Tempts Jesus in the desert

Verses 1-11

The word tells us that after Jesus was Baptized by John the Baptist, the spirit led him in to the desert to be tempted by the devil. After he fasted for forty days and forty nights he was hungry. The word says the tempter came and said

If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread

Jesus answered

It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word, that comes from the mouth of God

The word says that the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple

If you are Son of God, he said throw yourself down. For it is written

He will command his angels concerning you,

And they will lift you up in their hands,

So that you will not strike your foot against a stone

Jesus answered him

It is also written

Do not put the Lord your God to the test.

The word says that the devil took him to the highest mountain and said

All this I will give you, if you will bow down and worship me.

Jesus said

Away from me Satan, for it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.

Then the devil left and the angels attended to him

When we are walking toward righteousness and moving in the provision of God. We get tempted. Tempted to go back and do the things that we once have done. Tempted to step out of character. Think of Jesus who Commanded Satan to get away from him.

It’s time for us to start to command the tempter to go! And when we command Satan to go the angels will come and attend to us. Why? Because the Holy Spirit lives within us.

Jesus begins his ministry

Verses 12- 17

The word says when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison he returned to Galilee this fulfilled the prophesy through Isaiah

Land of Zubulun and land of Naphtali,

The way to the sea, along the Jordan,

Galilee of the Gentiles

The people living in darkness

have seen a great light;

on those living in the land of shadow of death

a light has dawned.

From that time on Jesus began to preach,

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.

No matter what goes in in our lives as Christians, we learn that the most valuable information to pass on is Salvation.

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near

This was the beginning of Jesus’s ministry be for the miracle signs, and wonders it was repent.

What the Father has already put in place will come to pass. What the father has already meant for your purpose on this earth is already waiting in the spirit realm.

Verses 18 – 22

Four fishermen follow Jesus

The word says that Jesus was walking along the sea and saw Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew throwing there fishing net and Jesus said to them.

Come follow me and I will make you fisher of men

And they followed. Then he saw James and his brother John who were in a boat with their father and Jesus called to them tow come with him and they did.

As I was writing this I asked why fishermen? the Holy Spirit reminded me how patient fishermen are, how patient we have to be when ministering to people. Some will jump in the net but others will run and you will have to be patient enough to let them come on their own.

Verses 23 – 25

The word tells us that Jesus went through Galilee preaching the good news of the kingdom in synagogues, healing the sick, ill, and disable.

When we think about Jesus we think about his sacrifice, paying the ransom for our souls. But getting to know Jesus is about his walk before he got to the sacrifice. The walk that some of us struggle to walk. The faith that it takes to allow God to rule over every aspect of our lives taking nothing back that we have given him.

Faith that allows us to be patient fishermen, faith that confirms that we are servants for the kingdom of God. Faith that allows us to heal, pray, and overcome. Faith that allows us to believe that the angels Will lift us up and our feet will not strike against a stone.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 3

logo_2042734_web

Blessings everyone,

God is so good to us! If we are really listening, we will hear the warnings before the storm and in the storms. For those that think that God forgot about them, know that God just wants you to listen for him. At times listening to him may require others to come in and deliver a message. If you are not willing to chew and swallow (listen and think), then you will miss your instructions to how to get over that barrier.

Matthew Chapter 3

Verses  1- 12

John the Baptist prepares the way for Jesus

The word tells us that John the Baptist would go to preach in the desert of Judea during this time. He would say to the people

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

The prophecy of Isaiah came to pass through John the Baptist

“A voice of one calling in the desert,

‘Prepare the way for the Lord,

Make straight paths for him.’”

The word says that Johns clothes was made of camel hair, he also wore a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey. The people would come from Jerusalem, Judea and the region of Jordan to confess their sins and be baptized in the Jordan river by John the Baptist.

The word tells us that when John the Baptist started to see Pharisees and Sadducees coming he begin to say to them. You group of snakes, who warned you to try to get away from the wrath? He tells them to do well with keeping repentance, and not to try to say that they were sons of Abraham. He tells them God can raise children for Abraham out of stones.

“the Ax is at the root of every tree, the tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire.”

“one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry.

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand,

and he will clear his threshing floor,

gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

After reading these verses I was stuck for a moment I begin to think about John the Baptist, about the Sadducees (group who denies resurrection). It is the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ that allows us to go to the Father clean.

Because John the Baptist, only can baptize with water and you repent, you would have to stay well in that repentance. To be a child of Abraham we go through the son of Abraham Jesus Christ. Anyone that does not come from good will be cut off. From the beginning the God knows our intents, because God knows our hearts. We can’t go into spiritual oneness with just the desire to succeed financially or to get what we want. We must go in to things with our whole heart in it. When we are not all the way there for the right reasons we will not produce good fruit.

The word says that Jesus will come and take the grain ( the good, fruitful) and blow away the chaff ( the debris, not needed) and burn it away.

Verse 13 -17

John Baptizes Jesus

The word says that Jesus call from Galilee to the Jordan river to be baptized by John. John tried to change Jesus’s will to be baptized by him. He begin to say to Jesus

“I need to be baptized by you”

Jesus told John “to let it be so now, it is proper for us to do this tow fulfill all righteousness.”

Then John consented.

The word says as soon as Jesus was baptized he went up out of the water. The word says heaven was opened, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said

“This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Jesus new the importance of the order, He knew the prophecy’s need to come to pass. Because John1:1 in the beginning was the word and the word was with God. John1:14 The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

God Loved Jesus because Jesus was his son and he was pleased with Jesus because Jesus was his son.

For those that thinks that God forgot about you, he didn’t he is waiting for the protical child to return. He is waiting for you to be still and listen to all that he wants to teach you. All that he wants you to teach. Trust and believe you are not forgotten you are, very much loved. Just because he has placed you on this earth.

It’s our faith that tells us God is going to make a way. We need to be ready to believe God for all the things that he has said he will do, and all the things that he has said you will be.

I Samuel Chapter 31

Saul takes his life

Verse 1-13

The word says; the Philistines fought against Israel and the Israelites ran from them, many Israelites were killed in Mount Gilboa. In this fight Saul’s three sons were killed Jonathan, Abindab, and Malki-Shua and when the archers saw Saul they wounded him. Saul didn’t want to die in the hands of his enemy, he told his armor bearer to drive the sword in him. The armor bear was afraid and didn’t want to do it, so Saul took his own life by falling on his sword. When they armor bearer saw that Saul was dead he did the same to himself. When the Israelites that were on the Jordan river saw that the Israel army had fled and Saul and his sons were dead the left their towns and ran.

The next day the Philistines found the bodies of Saul and his sons and they cut off Saul’s head and sent a message to the Philistines. The Philistines took the body and armor of Saul to the temple of the Ashtoreth and fastened his body on the wall of Beth Shan.

The word says when the people of Jabesh Gilead heard what happen they went and retrieved the body of Saul and his sons and buried them at a tree in Jabesh.

When Saul took matters in to his own hand it didn’t work out for him. Saul only wanted the Lords opinion when necessary. Saul didn’t walk a righteous life, he used the Lords like an ATM. We must be careful with this action we must be able to place the Lord in every aspect of our lives, we cannot pick and choose what the Lord can be sovereign over and what he can’t

Now for the most Important part, If you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved.
