Let’s get into the word of the Lord

The disciples argue who would be the greatest.

Verse 1 – 6

The disciples went to Jesus and asked him who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus called a little child and had him stand among them and he said;

I tell you the truth. Unless you change and become more like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore whoever humbles himself like the child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

And whoever welcomes like this, is in my name welcomes me, but if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large Millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

The process of being childlike is to let go of our private way to be humble and open-hearted

Jesus warns against temptation

Verse 7– 9

The word says,

woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin, these things must come, but won’t to the man to whom they come!

If your hand or foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away, it is better for you to enter life maimed or cripple then to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into Eternal fire and if your eyes cause you to sin gauge it out and throw it away it is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

Hey man! The Lord tells us to cut out things that cause us to send, and that can mean people as well. Would you rather go to hell and be tortured for Eternal or have life that is the question?

Jesus warns against looking down on others

Verse 10 – 14

See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones for I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the 99 on the hill and go look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it I tell you the truth, he is happier about the one sheep then about the 99 that did not wander off and the same way your father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

This part of the scripture reminds us that the Lord is looking for his lost sheep.

we are so quick to criticize others about what they are doing, wearing, and whatever sin there is. But truth, why can’t we just guide the sheep back to its Shepherd?

Jesus teaches how to treat a Believer who sins.

Verse 15-20

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens you have won your brother over, but if he will not listen take one or two others along so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three Witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them tell it to the church, and if he refuses to listen even to the church treat him as you would a pagan or tax collector.

What I’m about to tell you is true. What you lock on Earth will be locked in heaven which you unlock on Earth will be unlocked in heaven.

Again here is what I tell you supposed to of you on Earth agree about anything you ask for. My Father in heaven will do it for you where 3 people meet together in my name I am there with them.

Accountability! That’s where we stand not expecting everyone to submit to a gentle nudge or warning the Lord says that if they listen then He will remain your brother / sister but if he doesn’t then he is not for you.

We tend to get angry when people don’t listen to us but the truth is simple and they are not willing to listen then we must leave them where they are.

Allowing their need to not listen will put you in a place of unlocking a simple way on earth a cold heart, take it to prayer, the Lord reminds us when one or more are gathered God is in the Mist amen!

The servant who had no mercy

Verse 21 – 35

The word says Peter came to Jesus and ask them how many times should he forgive someone for sinning against him? Should it be up to seven times?

Jesus answered him

I tell you not seven times but 77 times

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a king who wanted to collect all the money his servant sold him. As the king began to do it, a man who owed him millions of dollars was brought to him. The man was not able to pay him.

So his master gave an order. The man, his wife, his children, and all he and had to be sold to pay back what he old owed.

What servant fell on his knees in front of him give me time he beg I’ll pay everything back.

His master felt sorry for him he gave him what he told and let him go.

But then the servant went out and found one of the other servants who old him a few dollars he grabbed him and began to choke him.

Pay back what you owe me he said.

The other servant fell to his knees give me time, he backs and I’ll pay you back.

But the first servant refused, instead he went and had the man thrown into prison.

the man who would be held there until he could pay back what he owes. The other servants saw what happened. And troubled them greatly, they went and told their Master everything that happened. Then the master called the first servant in. you evil servant he said I forgave all that you owed me because you beg me to you have nomercy on the other servant just like I had mercy on you?

an anger his master turned him over to the jailer he will be punished until he pays back everything he owe.

This is how my Father in heaven will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.

As Believers we forget this Factor. and to some it doesn’t exist.

you can’t expect the father to forgive you if you can’t forgive another 77 times. Because I’m sure the Lord has forgiven you 777,777,777. I’m just saying find it in yout heart to be more like your Father and less like the people who are after the somethings as you. Treating others how they treat you will not get you to righteousness. How can you get to righteousness if you can’t forgive 77 times.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Let’s get into the word of the Lord

Matthew Chapter 17

Verse 1-13

Jesus is transfigured on the mountain

The word says; after 6 days Jesus took Peter, James, and John the brother James Jesus led them up a high mountain by themselves.

The word says Jesus transfigured( transform into something more beautiful or elevated) himself his face Shone like the sun, his clothes became as white as the light. The word says just then Moses and Elijah appeared in front of them the word says Moses and Elijah was talking to Jesus.

Peter said to the Lord that it was good for them to be there and he offered to put up three tents one for Jesus one for Moses one for Elijah.

The word says while Peter was still speaking a bright clouds surrounded them a voice from the cloud said, this is my son, and I love him. I am pleased with him, listen to him.

The word says; the disciples heard this and they were terrified, they fell with their faces to the ground.

The word says Jesus came and touched them and said;

get up, Don’t Be Afraid

when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

Jesus and his disciples came down from the mountain. On the way down Jesus told them

Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, wait until the son of man has raised from the dead

The disciples asked Jesus “why did the teachers of the law say that Elijah has come first?”

The word says Jesus replied;

To be sure Elijah comes and will restore all things but I tell you Liza has already come and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished in the same way the son of man is going to suffer at their hands.

The disciples understood that he was talking about John the Baptist.

Praise God, could you imagine going up the mountain, and the cloud coming down on us? or standing there and watching Jesus Transfiguration?

As we are walking by faith, and walking toward righteousness, we should be seeing ourselves transfigured before our own eyes.

The presence of Moses and Elijah with Jesus allowed the disciples to understand that Jesus was here to fulfill the prophecy of God’s law in the words of God’s prophets.

Verse 14-21

Jesus heals demon possessed boy

The word says; that when Jesus and his disciples came to a crowd, a man approached Jesus, and knelt in front of him and said “Lord have mercy, on my son.” The man continues by telling Jesus, his son has seizures and because of his shakes he falls in the fire or into the water the man tells Jesus he brought his son to the disciples but they could not heal him.

Jesus replied;

You unbelieving and evil people! how long do I have to stay with you? how long do I have to put up with you? bring the boy here to me.

The word says; Jesus ordered the demon to leave the boy and it came out of him, he was healed at that very moment.

The word says the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked him why they could not drive out the demon?

Jesus replied to them

Because your faith is much too small. What  I.m about to tell you is true. If you have the faith as small as a mustard seed, it is enough.

You can say to this mountain ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move nothing will be impossible for you.

The word says; they got together in Galilee there Jesus said to them

The son of man is going to be handed over to men. They will kill him, on the third day he will rise from the dead.

Then the disciples were filled with deep sadness.

Remember that even in Jesus ‘s home town he didn’t do many miracles, the scripture says because their faith wasn’t much.

Miracles, signs , and wonders appear when we have even a mustard seed of faith. If you don’t believe that God can fix it because you can’t see the way then don’t expect to see a miracle.

The Lord tells the disciples that he will be handed over and killed, and rise three days later.

Verse 24 -27

Jesus pays the temple Tax

The word says; Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum. The tax collector came to Peter and asked him if Jesus paid the Temple Tax. Peter replied “Yes he does”

When Peter went into the house Jesus asked him,

What do you think Simon? Who do the kings of the earth collect taxes and fees from? Do they collect from their own sons or from others?

Peter answered “from others.”

Jesus replied:

Then the sons don’t have to pay, but we don’t want to make them angry. So go to the lake and throw out your fishing line. Take the first fish you catch open it’s mouth and there you will find  the exact coin you need. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.

Isn’t it something that the Lord knew what was going on outside this reminds me that the Lord confirms the word of his prophets and servants. Peter was willing to lie to avoid any trouble. Not noticing that his lie would’ve given them more troubles than needed.

Just as soon as Peter walked into the house Jesus addressed it. and provided a way for the words from Peter may be confirmed. this was another reminder of the tongue speaking life and death.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Let’s get into the word of God!!

Matthew Chapter 14

Herod kills John the Baptist

Verse 1-12

The word says Herod heard about Jesus and said he was John risen from the dead, that’s why he had powers.

These verses say that Herod had John arrested and bound because of Herod’s brother’s wife. John had been telling Herod that it was unlawful for him to have her. Herod wanted to kill John but he was afraid because the people considered him a prophet.

On Herod’s birthday his brother’s wife’s daughter danced for him and he was pleased. He told her he would give her whatever she wanted. Coaxed by her mother she asked for John’s head on a platter.

The word says the King was distressed but because of his promise and his guest he followed through.

Herod ordered for John to be beheaded, his head placed on a platter and brought to the girl. She gave it to her mother.

John’s disciples took his body buried it and then went to tell Jesus.

As I was reading the verses. I thought about all the believers that were killed for carrying out their purpose.

John did not keep his mouth shut. He saw something wrong and spoke the words of God against.

Isn’t that our jobs? To be ready to fight for God’s law. We are armed with our sword. As we see John had no problem striking with his.

If you see an eviliness on someone are you going to use your sword to destroy it? Will you sacrifice yourself to save another soul?

*These questions you should take to God during prayer time

Verse 13 – 21

Jesus feeds five thousand

When Jesus found out what happened to John, he went off to be alone.

When the people heard what happen and saw Jesus was in mourning they followed him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd he had compassion on them and healed the sick.

As it was getting late the disciples told Jesus to send the crowd away so they can go and buy food. Jesus replied they don’t need to go away, bring them some food.

The disciple answered; we only have five loaves of bread and two fish Jesus told them to bring him the food. Jesus told the people to sit on the grass. Jesus gave thanks for the food and started breaking the bread.

When he was done there were 12 baskets full that were left over. The amount of people that ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

I often refer to this scripture when I answer my children’s request for a friend to eat over.

It’s a reminder that we may never see things as being enough, but God says there’s more than enough

Verse 22-32

Jesus walks on water

After the meal Jesus had the disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side ahead of him

He went to the mountainside to pray. By night he was alone and the boat was a ways from him and was in the mist of heavy winds.

Later in the night Jesus went to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him the were terrified, they thought he was a ghost. Jesus told them to be courageous, it was him.

Peter says “Lord if it’s you tell me to come?”

Jesus told him to come.

The word says Peter started walking on the water toward Jesus, but when he saw the wind he was afraid and began to sink, he cried out “Lord save me”

Immediately Jesus caught him and said you of little faith, why did you doubt.

When Jesus got on the boat everyone worshiped him.

You of little faith, why did you doubt. We are disciples of Christ, we should be ready to walk on water because Jesus gave his disciples the power through him.

When we start to walk in power a little wind comes and we get scared. The most important part of this scripture never forget Immediately, Jesus will catch you.

Verse 34-36

Jesus heals all who touch him

When they crossed over, people recognized Jesus and brought their sick to him. Asking if they can touch his cloak, and when they did they were healed.

The faith to know that all you need is to touch him and be healed.

If your faith allows you to be healed what happens when the holy spirit dwells within you

Just a question to bring to God in prayer.
Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 12

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are moving with the power of God. As your walking through your day, remind yourself that Jesus gave his disciples the power to heal the sick, raise the dead, and rebuke demons so I ask you, aren’t you a disciple use your power today and go forth in faith.

Matthew Chapter 12

Verse 1-8

The word begins by telling us that Jesus and his disciples were walking through a field and the disciples were hungry and begain to pick from the heads of the grain to eat.

The word says when the pharisees saw this they said to Jesus.

your disciples are doing something that is not lawfull on the Sabbath day!

The word says Jesus answered them by saying

Didn’t you read in the scripture about David and his men who were hungry, and they went in to the temple and ate the consecrated bread on the sabbath?

Or what about the priest who break the sabbath and are blameless.

Right now in this place there is one greater than the temple.

If you had known what this means. Then you would know I desire compassion and not sacrifice.

And you would not have

condemned the innocent.

Amen! Glory be to God!!!!

This word reminds me that, when we walk on our journey there will without a doubt be people pointing at everything you do. Ready to say “he/she isn’t really serving God look what they did?”

As a believer/servant you get that all the time. Those actions can take a positive effect or a negative effect. When your dealing with others and what God tells you to do. Concern yourself with the fact that you are not serving them, your serving God and Jesus is greater than the rules and laws that people put on your faith and your journey.

Verse 9 -21

The word goes on to say; Jesus left from there and went to their synagogue. There was a man there with a withered hand and they asked him if it was lawful to heal on the sabbath days.

Jesus answered

If a man had a sheep, and the sheep fell into the pit on the sabbath day, would he not grab it and lift it out.

A man is better than a sheep.

Jesus then told the man to stretch out his hand and it was restored whole.

The word says the pharisees went out and held a council meeting against Jesus about how they might destroy him.

When Jesus knew what they were doing he left from there and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all and told them not to tell anyone. This was to fullfill the prophesy spoken by the prophet Isaiah.

Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgement to the gentiles.

He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgement unto victory.

The Lord says isn’t man more important than sheep. So if you see someone who needs help and compassion with a little bit of love are you gonna let them suffer. Isnt compassion greater than sacrifice which is what was sat aside for the sabbath.

We learned from Matthew Chapter 10 that when their is trouble people try to bring you down go to the next town go to the next event.

The truth is you’ll be sitting there all day trying to prove your works and word of the Lord to someone who doesn’t really care to say they understand or your right or even Glory be to God. Because we do the works for the Glory of God we can move on because our reward comes from God.

Jesus gave us amazing examples of how to handle ourselves when dealing with others. But most importantly to know that you are walking in the prophesy and all things lead back to the word of God.

Verse 22 – 38

The word says then a possessed man who was blind and dumb was brought to Jesus. And he healed him and the man could speak and see.

The word says the people were amazed and said is this the Son of David (The Messiah)

When the pharisees heard of this they said that Jesus cast out devils with help from Beelzebub the prince of demons.

The word says Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them.

Every kingdom divided is laid waste and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.

If satan is casting out satan then how can his kingdom stand.

And if I cast out demons with the help of Beelzebub, by whom do your children cast them out?

But if I cast out demons by the spirit of God has come on you.

How can someone enter a strong man’s house and steal his property, your gonna have to first bind him up, then take his things.

If you are not with me, your against me. And if you dont gather with me you scatter

All manner of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost will not be forgiven.

Who ever speaks a word against the son of man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, will not be forgiven on this world or the world to come.

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt. For thee tree is known by his fruit.

You brood of vipers how can you be evil and speak good things. The mouth speaks what fills the heart.

A good man, with a good heart brings good things, an evil man with an evil heart will bring evil things.

On the day of Judgement every man will be accountable for every careless and useless word spoken.

By your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.

In these verses we learn that the Lord says your kingdom divided will not stand. It brings us back to a family that prays together stays together.

In this generation we must be mindful of how we us our mouths. If we speak good, good we will receive. But the lord tells us one thing for certain, what’s in your heart will for certain come out your mouth.

Verse 38 – 46

The word says some of the scribes and the pharisees answered Jesus saying Master we want to see a sign from you, and Jesus answered

A generation of evil doers and adulterous people looking for a sign, and there will be no sign given, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.

Like Jonah was three days and three nights in the whales belly. Son of man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The men of Ninevah will rise in judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold a greater Jonah is here.

The queen of the South will stand up at the judgement against this generation she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and something greatet than solomon is here.

When the unclean spirit leaves from man it roams through dry land searching for rest, he will not find none. Then it will say I will go back to my home from which I came. It will find it empty, swept, and garnished

Then he will go and take with him seven other spirits more wicked then himself. And they enter in and dwell there.

The last state of that man is worse than the first and the same for this wicked generation .

The Lords word is straight and forward here, when we go to the Lord to be clean and walk a righteous life. Are old spurit leaves us and we are gleaning every word we here from God.

You will get tested your faith will be tried and it’s gonna be hard.

When the Lord talks about generations, well we can look around and see my grandmothets generation was nothing compared to my children why because the prophesy must come to pass.

Verse 46-50

The word says as Jesus spoke to the people his mother and brother stood without needing to speak to him.

Someone said to him look ypur mother and brother stands without needing to speak to you.

Jesus answered

Who is my mother and who is my brother

He stretched out his hands toward his disciples

Behold my mother and my brother. For whoever does the will of my father in heaven is my brother, mother, and sister

We Thank you lord for being our everything, for standing in the position as our savior.

Matthew chapter 11

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are walking in faith, and knowing that God is shifting you in the places your suppose to be.

Even if it doesn’t look like what you expect it to, God sees further than your eyes.

To my followers thanks for joining in I appreciate you guys so much.

If you were scrolling and came across this blog. Thanks for stopping by, let me introduce myself.

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy

Another way that I serve is as an encourager and baord member of Walk It Out Ministries. Okay lets get into the word

Matthew Chapter 11

Verse 1 – 6

The word of the Lord says that after Jesus finished commanding his disciples he went out to teach and preach in their cities.

The word says when John heard about this in the prison, he sent two of his disciples to see Jesus.

When Gods disciples came to Jesus they asked him if he was the one they were to find or should they keep looking.

The word says Jesus answered and said Go and tell John the things that you hear and see.

” the blind receive their sight the lame walk the leper clean and tge deaf hear the dead rise amd the poor preached to. And blessing to those that are not offended by me.”

If we all can walk through life saying blessings to all who are not offended by the God in me.

The Lord works in all the power that he commanded in the disciples in chapter 10. Jesus told us in that chapter that we can do what the teacher does but we can not be greater than the teacher.

So expect to have the power ti heal the sick, raise the dead, hearing to the deaf. What happens when you actually do tap into those commands with your faith.

Verse 7 – 19

In these verses it tells us that after Johns disciples left, the Lord began to speak about John.

Jesus begins to tell the people that people didnt go to the wilderness looking for a will dressed man, they went to the wilderness to see a prophet.

Jesus goes on to tell the people that since John the Baptist the kingdom has been advancing with force. And forceful people are taking hold of it.

Jesus goes to explain to the people that John is the one who fulfilled the prophesy the one that made the way.

The Lord goes on to say for those who are willing to accept John is the Elijah who was supposed to come.

V16

The Lord sayd people now are like children in the market looking for others to pay attention.

When John came and he did not eat or drink they said he had a demon, the son of man came eatting and drinking they said he was a gluttonous man. The Lord says wisdom is justified by her children. ( Those who act wisely prive wisdom is right)

Glory be to God these verses reminds me that no matter what God has placed others before us to make a way and he will keep on until he gets to his design.

People are so busy looking for a reaction from others for every move they makr or I should say we make. But expect that when you are busy looking for God people will find everything wrong.

John fasted and thw said he had a demon, Jesus ate and hung out with non righteous people and he was called gluttonous and a winebibber.

No matter what you do the people are only going to see what they want, let it be about the works that you do.

Verse 20-30

The Lord tells the people that had seen the miracles he preformed and still lived in sin that the towns and people that are no longer exist would still have it better than them because they would have at least mourned.

The Lord goes on to praise the father for giving sight of what he desires to the little children

Jesus reminds us that the father knows the son and the son chooses to make others known to the father

Jesus calls on all who are tired and carrying a heavy load. Leting them know that he will give them rest.

He called to the people to come and be hos servants and to learn from him. They eould find rest in him. In a service that is easy and light.

Amen! We learned in chapter 10 that a disciple shall pack light and not trouble themselves about what to preach on. In these verses the Lord says come to me it will be easy and light.

When we work for God we must remember that there isn’t a burden. The Lord has said he’s carrying that you just go and wait for instructions. If you get none keep doing what you have been doing.

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 10

Verse 1- 14

The verses tell us that Jesus called on the disciples to go out and help the people. The Lord gave them power to cast out evil spirits, to heal sickness and diseases.

The 12 disciples names were (in order)

  1. Simon (Peter)
  2. Andrew
  3. James
  4. John
  5. Philip
  6. Bartholomew
  7. Thomas
  8. Matthew
  9. James
  10. Thaddeus
  11. Simon
  12. Judas Iscariot

The Lord sent the 12 disciples to speak to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, they were to heal the sick cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out evil spirits.

They were told to give freely, all the things that were given freely to them

The Lord told his disciples don’t bring any silver, gold, or brass with them, nor clothes, coats, or shoes for the workman is worthy of his meat.

The Lord told his disciples to go into the town and see who is worthy, and when thet go in a house that is worthy let your peace come on it. And if it’s not worthy let your peace return to you.

The Lorf also told his disciples If a person does not receive you or listen to your words, when you leave the house or city shake off the dust of your feet.

As I was learning the verses I was literally living the lesson out ( to God be the glory for discernment and wisdom)

When we go out as disciples of christ we are to go out with the faith that God will provide. Just do the work, the lord will place it on someones heart to satisfy whatever needs you have.

When God places it on your heart to walk in your calling, stand firm in it and do it, allow your works to show you what your worth is.

Verse 14 reminds us not everyone is acceptable to the word of God, some will reject God’s workman, frown their faces at the people that are praising God’s name, or just reading the word of God. Some will try to hurt you and/or shame you the lord says shake the dust off your feet, let that go.

Verse 15 & 16

The Lord says “It would have been easier for sadom and Gomorrah on the day of judgement” the lord tells the disciples ” tionI am sending you out like sheep among wolves be as shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves.

The Lord tells us, we must pay attention to our surroundings and the people in them, remember our righteousness and all we do.

Verse 17 – 23

Jesus prepares the disciples for persecution; the Lord says be on guard against people, they will hand you over to the council and flog you in their synagogues. Jesus tells the disciples that because of who he is they will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and the gentiles.

The word says brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against parents and have them put to death. Jesus tells the disciples all men will hate you because of who he is but the one who stands firm to the end will stand firm.

The Lord says when you are persecuted in one place go to another. He tells the disciples they won’t finish going through the cities of Israel before don of man comes.

As we walk through this life we must be ready for those that look to be the reason for those that look to be the reason we fall or be around when we fall. as a believer this is something that we learn as soon as we give our lives to God, we start to notice attacks from every angle of your life. If your life was Israel, and we listened to the lord we would have to keep moving.

you will see people wanting to put you in a position to seem wrong and to punish you in front of everyone a public humiliation and reticulated. These are the things that happen, when we begin to walk, preach, and teach the word of God.

The Lord goes on to say ” all men will hate you because of him, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved” The Lord says your going to go through it, your going to be attacked, persecuted, and tortured but stand firm hold on you will be saved the father will bring you through.

verse 24 -31

The Lord tells the disciples that a student shouldn’t be above his teacher and nor a servant above his master. It’s okay to be like your teacher or master. In these verses the lord tells us nothing concealed will not come to light. The Lord says what I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight. What is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roof.

The Lord tells the disciples not to be afraid of the ones who kill the body and not the soul, rather of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell. The Lord reminds the disciples even the hairs on their heads are numbered. we are worth more than the sparrow that the lord spares.

When we become disciples of the holy spirit, messages, lessons download to our spirit man. There will be times that you speak the word of the lord and people will say that you are speaking lies they will try to argue with you about weather the bible is true or false. they will say things that will try to rock your faith. All because they don’t want to believe in Jesus, or the Father. The Lord says no matter what when he teaches us, tells us, shows us we must be ready to open our mouths and speak it, with the confidence that serving God is more important than someone trolling or ridiculing what is said.

verse 32 – 36

The Lord tells his disciples that whoever acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my father.

The Lord says don’t think I came to bring peace. I came to bring a sword

your household will be against each other.

We are not to put others before God. we are to put God before men. The Lord says he was not here to bring us peace. He is here to give us our weapon of defense. Our mouth being the sword and the Lord giving us the power to speak life or death into our lives and someone else.

verse 37 – 42

The Lord tells his disciples if you love your mother or father more than me, you are not worthy of me. If you love your son or daughter more than me, is not worthy.

the word says Jesus said he who finds his life will lose it and he who loses his life because of Jesus shall find it.

He who receive the disciple will receive Jesus, and he who receive Jesus receives the Father.

The Lord says he who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophets reward and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man’ reward.

When I read this part of the scripture, it reminded me that when we put others before God we are not worthy of him. Receive Jesus so that you can receive the father. Receive the prophet so that you can receive the prophets reward.

be blessed

Matthew Chapter 9

Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man

Verse 1 – 8

The word says that Jesus went into his own tow, and there the men brought a man to him paralyzed. Jesus saw their faith, and told the man that his sins were forgiven the word says Take heart

The teachers of the law saw this and said to themselves “this man is blaspheming.” Because Jesus knows their thoughts, he asked them why they thought so evil. He asked them if it was easier your sins are forgiven, than get up and walk? Jesus says this so we would know that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

Jesus tells the paralyzed man to get up and take his mat and go home. The word says the man got up and went home. The people praised God, who had given men this authority.

In this teaching Jesus shows us that we have the power to command, we have the authority to forgive sin. We walk around with lack of self-worth with so much power inside of us. The paralyzed man is us stuck in our circumstances we can’t seem to me because we don’t think we have the power to move out of it.

God has given us authority on this earth, to go forward and prosper, but he has also given us the gift of free will, to walk or sit. The question is what are you going to do with your power?

Verse 9 – 13

Jesus Eats with Sinners at Matthews House

The word says when Jesus left from the paralyzed man he saw a man name Matthew who was sitting in the tax collector’s booth. Jesus told the man to follow him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

As Jesus was having dinner at Matthews house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.

The word says when the Pharisees seen this they asked his disciples, why Jesus was eating with the tax collectors and the sinners?

It’s not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick.

But go learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.

For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

This word blew my mind, let’s talk about the real. Yes, we seek fellowship and to be around like-minded individuals. Let me say this on this blog first, I am not here for the righteous but for the sinner. This scripture made me realize why the Lord named the blog from sinner to saint, it’s here for the those that are looking for God, to help those that know him but have not yet established a relationship, and for those that just want to be filled by him.

Praise God for placing us here to help each other. We cannot deny the sinner we are not better than them, we are to have mercy. I Jesus came and walked the way we should be walking then we were meant to not expect sacrifice, but desire mercy, may God have mercy on them and me.

Verse 14 – 17

Religious Leaders Ask Jesus about Fasting

The word says that John’s disciples asked Jesus why he and the Pharisees fast but Jesus and his disciples doesn’t? Jesus answered by saying how can the guest of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them; then they will fast.

Jesus says no one will sew an unshrunk patch on old clothes because the patch will pull away from the garment making the tear worse. Nor will you pour new wine in old wineskins, if they do the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskin will be ruined, so they pour new wine in a new wineskin and both are preserved.

This word is real Jesus was there to do a new thing. When he speaks about the patch he is talking about the old religious ways. If he did what they did it would be worst. Jesus and his disciples were spending as much time together teaching and learning with the many that followed. They would not mourn, there would be a time for them to fast.

When we fast, we are releasing the old a purge we are coming from the fast new, changed. When doing a new thing you can’t mix it with the old, when expecting a new blessing God isn’t going to pour it out on your old ways.

Verse 18 – 26

Jesus Heals a Bleeding Woman and Restores a Girl to Life

The word when Jesus was talking about fasting a ruler knelt before him and told him that his daughter had died, he told Jesus to come put his hand on her and she will live. (command)  Jesus got up and went with him.

The word says just then a woman who had been suffering with bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, she said to herself “ If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

Jesus turned and saw her and told her to “take heart your faith has healed you” and the woman was healed from that moment.

The word goes on to tell us when Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, he told them to go away. Jesus told them that the girl was not dead, but asleep. But they laughed at him. After the crowd was gone Jesus went to the girl touched her hand and she got up. The news spreads through the region.

The king with authority new that Jesus would bring his daughter back, the woman with blood knew that all she needed was to touch him. But Jesus said take heart, relax your worry. Your faith has healed you.

Our authority is in our faith, to know that God is real and will bring us from whatever we are coming from, going through, and moving toward. Are you walking in the power of your authority? Are you moving by faith? Are you ready to take heart?

Verse 27- 34

Jesus Heals the Blind and Mute

The word says Jesus went on from there, and two blind men followed him calling out have mercy son of David! When Jesus went indoors the blind men came to him and Jesus asked them Did they believe that he is able to do what they ask of him? they replied yes, Lord.

Jesus touched their eyes and said

According to your faith, it will be done to you?

And their sight was restored, Jesus warned them sternly make sure no one knows about this. But they went out and spread the news to the region.

The word says while the men were going out a man who was demon possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. When the demon was driven out the man was able to speak. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” The word says but the Pharisees said “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.

Our faith is the key, we serve a God of impossible so wouldn’t what he does be never before seen. My favorite saying is, if you want to see God go and do the impossible, that will be a faith walk, a walk on water. When folks don’t understand what God is doing they will typically say it is the devil it’s demonic. Remember they are not supposed to understand what God is doing through you so don’t expect them to.

Verse 35 – 38

Jesus Urges the Disciples to pray for workers

The verse starts by telling us that Jesus went through all the villages and towns techin in the synagogues, preaching the word of God and healing sickness and discomfort. When he saw the people he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Jesus said to his disciples the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. Jesus tells his disciples to ask the Lord for a harvest so we can send out workers into his harvest field.

This scripture is very important. One day the Lord showed me that we are the Trees of knowledge and we are Eden. When we are growing in the Lord being nurtured in to goodness, we have bountiful harvests. Everything that comes from us is good. Jesus had compassion for the people because they didn’t know how beautiful they could be. We don’t know how beautiful we can be. When we lack faith in God we are walking around worried about so many unimportant things. Sometimes it can be a problem only God can solve, those are the times to just wait in his presence.

Are you ready to be a worker are you ready to plant a seed for the harvest? Did you know that that can just be praying that someone gets to walk the path of righteousness? However God moves you are you ready to walk in faith, are you ready to be that tree of Knowledge that God tells you, you are? Here is your free will, you know of what is good and you know of what is evil, now you decide. Amen

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 8

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are moving in faith. With a sound mind in God. The word reminds us that a wise man will build his house on rock and not sand, for when a storm comes a house on sand will sink.

Matthews Chapter 8

Verse 1 – 4

Jesus Performs many Miracles

These verses are on Jesus healing the man with Leprosy.

The word says when Jesus came down from the mountain crowds followed him. There was a man with leprosy that came and knelt in front of him. The man asked Jesus to make him mclean.

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said

“I am willing, you are cleaned.”

Jesus told the man not to tell anyone who healed him, but to show himself to the priest and offer the gifts that Moses commanded as a testimony.

When we are walking in the miracles of God there is no need to tell it on the mountain when a person see’s us then they will know exactly what is going on. I am guilty of telling it on the mountain. I can never seem to hold what God is doing in my life. This scripture I will pray into my life. Let my healing be my testimony.

Verse 5 – 13

A Roman Centurion Demonstrates Faith

The word says that when Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for his help. There was a servant that was laying paralyzed in terrible suffering.

Jesus says to the man “ I will go, and heal him”

The man begins to tell Jesus that he does not deserve to have Jesus under his roof but if Jesus would just say the word, and the servant is healed. The man begins to tell Jesus that he is a man of authority as well and if he tells his servants to go and do something they will go.

Jesus was astonished to her what the man said. The word says that Jesus said to the people that he has never seen anyone with such great faith. Jesus says many will come from the east and the west and take their place at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside in to the darkness.

Jesus tells the man to go! It will be done just a you believe it would.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.

We can be subjects of the word of God but it is when we move in faith that God has the power and authority to heal and fix all things is when we move toward that feast. You must believe in God’s power to be obedient.

Verse 14 – 17

Jesus heals peters mother-in- law and many others.

The word says that when Jesus came in peters house Peter’s mother in law was laying ing the bed dying from fever. Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her body and she got up and waited on him.

The word says when the evening came many who were demon possessed were brought to him. And he drove out spirits and healed all sick

“He took our infirmities, and carried our diseases.”

One thing came to my head when reading this part. We do not live in a day where people believe in miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe in a day where those that are believers doubt that they could be healed our mouths say won’t he do it and our brains say what am I going to do.

Verse 18 – 23

Jesus Teaches about the cost of following Him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd that followed him, he told everyone to cross to the other side of the lake. The word says a man who was a teacher of the law, came up to Jesus and said Teacher I will follow you wherever you go.

Jesus told the man that Foxes have holes and birds have nest, but the Son of man has no place to lay his head.

Another man told Jesus, that once he bury his father he will go with him and Jesus told him let the dead bury the dead and follow him.

We must be willing to understand that following Jesus may not mean stability. You’re going to have to take those risks on faith. Jesus didn’t have a place to live he was moving on faith that just like that fox had a hole and the bird had a nest that God will provide our place while we are moving forward.

When Jesus told the man to let the dead bury the dead. He may have been telling the man to follow him and live. God is like that our faith walk has us move from the things that are not of God. The man that wanted to go bury his father may have tried to put off walking in faith with Jesus. This will happen to us, when we begin to start following Jesus things will try to distract us. Remember that all things that isn’t of God does not give us life, we will have to be able to make the decision to let the dead bury the dead and live in Jesus name.

Verse 23-27

Jesus calms the storm

The word says that when Jesus got into the boat his disciples followed him and then a furious storm appeared, the waves crashed over the boat. The word says that Jesus was sleeping and his disciples woke him up saying “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

The Lord replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then the Lord got up and rebuked the storm and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and said “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey.

I have always believed that when we sleep God comes and spends time with us. Why not rest during a storm? When you rest during a storm you spend your time in faith. Not stressing about how are you going to fix it. When your faith is strong you know that God has given you the authority to tell that storm to go that it is not the center of your universe.

When we are moving in faith we cannot worry about the storm, worrying about the storm says that we lack confidence in the power of God, you cannot be a believer and doubt God.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation of faith with bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer.

Matthew Chapter 7

Blessing everyone,

As we are moving forward I pray that you all are seeking God, accepting others, and walking with the holy spirit.

Matthew Chapter 7

Jesus Teaches about Criticizing others

Verse 1- 6

Jesus teaches us, do not judge or we will be judged with the same measure of judgement that you used to judge. The Lord says we can’t look at the little things about others and criticize them and we have bigger things blocking our vision.

The Lord shows us that we can’t judge walking around crittizeing others when we are showing someone that something is not right, we should be standing in position as a helper not as a demolition. It is important that we are uplifting each other toward God.

Verse 7 -12

Jesus Teaches about Asking, Seeking, knocking

Jesus tells us ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to you. Everyone who does these things shall receive.

Jesus askes who is Gods son and ask for bread and get stone. Our ask for a fish and be given a snake? Jesus tells us that the Father in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask him. The Lord says in everything so unto others what you would have them do to you. This is said by the Law and the Prophets.

It’s important to our spirit that we do right by the people that come into our lives. We should allow ourselves to not walk around wishing misery on each other. We should be able to see that we all are trying to move forward in life. We all are out for the greater good even though the good to many are different it’s important to know that we all desire it which means that there is no need to want someone else to fail or need.

If we can help in our time, finances if God has already sent you an overflow be ready to spread that over flow so that others may be able to have a little in their cup. Remember a cup that overflows end up wasting what if you don’t pour it into another glass.

Verse 13 &14

Jesus Teaches about the Way to Heaven

Jesus teaches us that if we want to head into destruction we would go the road that has many people and large options but if we want to get in to heaven there’s only one way and few take that road.

The walk as a believer is a walk of discipline and relationship. It takes lots of patience to stand and walk righteously a relationship with God puts us in a place that we are seeking him and when we stand in that place challenges will come and test your faith to allow you to build another level of faith in God. Many will try to fit through that gate but it takes humbleness to be able to fit and continue walking. Knowing God provides all and we when we are tempted still keep moving in what God has instructed. The word says

“don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

When we are weak in faith as soon as a stress factor comes with tomorrows worry we seem to try to fall off the narrow road and try to find our own path.

Verse 15-20

Jesus Teaches about Fruit in People’s Lives

Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets, they come like wolves in sheep clothing. Pay attention to their fruit. Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Especially in this day you can scroll Facebook and find many people with the title Prophet before their names. Take the time to sit and speak with God before you run and do what they are telling you that “God said” look around them and see what God is moving in their life. Remember everything that comes from God is good.

Verse 21-29

Jesus Teaches about Those Who Build Houses on Rock and Sand.

Jesus says you can cry out Lord, Lord and still not get into heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will get there.
“They may say didn’t I prophesy in your name and drive out demons and perform miracles in your name. and I will say to them get away from me you evil doers.”

Jesus tells us that if we listen to his words and put them in practice it is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The storm came and the house did not move. But the ones who hears the words and doesn’t put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The storm can and the house fell with a great crash.

The word says when Jesus was done teaching the crowd was amazed because he spoke with authority and not a teacher.

We must remember to apply the word of God to our lives this is important. We stand on the word of God that is solid ground if you don’t apply a practice of faith and righteous living you cannot think that you will stand strong in the tough times.

You cannot turn your back on God when the sun is up and then when the rain starts to get heavy you scream Lord, Lord. We cannot be hypocrites; our walk should place us in the position to want the Heavenly Father to have a smile on his face because he knows that we are strong in faith because we practice I every day. He has been training us for a time like this. What are you going to do in the storm be the light on the night stand or be the light under the night stand.

Be Blessed

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 6

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going forth with full power, not half power but full power. When we walk in faith, we are walking with God, we are allowing God to led us in to everyplace that he knows that we will soar in. So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.
