Ezekiel Chapter 14 Idolaters condemned

verse 1-6

Ezekiel says that some of the elders of Israel came to him and sat down in front of him. Then the word of the Lord came to him and says “Son of man, these men have set up Idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all? Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: when any Israelite sets up idols in his heart, and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the Lord will answer him myself in keeping with his  great idolatry. I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.Therefor say to the house of Israel, This is what the sovereign Lord says: repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!

For those that go to Gods Prophet or servant after worshipping Idols and putting up stumbling blocks ( circumstances that may keep you from God) the Lord says he will answer them himself  so that he may recapture the hearts of those who turn from him. for his name sake. The Lord will forgive us and change our hearts help us fight those things that keep us from him if we repent of our sins. we serve a God who is faithful to us but most of all we serve a forgiving God who will not take back his words.

verse 7 – 11

The Lord says that when an Israelite or alien living in Israel separates himself from him and sets up Idols in his heart and puts circumstances between themselves and God and then goes to a prophet to inquire of him. The Lord says: I the Lord will answer him myself I will set my face against that man and make an example and a byword . I will cut him off from my people. Then you will know that I am Lord. And If the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the Lord have  enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel. They will bear their guilt – the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him. Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will  they defile themselves anymore with their sins. they will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the sovereign Lord.

When we are not walking right and we are self proclaiming ourselves as prophets that act won’t go unnoticed by God. The Lord will call you out you will prophecy your imagination and not what the Sovereign Lord has said and he will stretch his hand out against you. The Lord will stop you from putting  a stumbling block between him and his people Glory to god. Thank you Lord, Glorryyyy. I thank my Lord God for Loving us so much that he will stop anyone who thinks that the can block us from him. won’t he do it!

verse 12-20

Judgment Inescapable

The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel: He said son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut of its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, even if these three men Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.

Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one could pass through it because of the beasts, as surely as I live , declares the sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, Let the sword pass throughout the land, and I kill its men and their animals, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.

Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath upon it through bloodshed, killing its men and their animals. as surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. they would save only themselves by their righteousness.

These verses are powerful. only you are responsible for your salvation. your walk only can save you, your relationship with God can save you only. just as we are born in our individual bodies one soul one body one salvation, one relationship. I encourage you to get in to the word, begin the relationship walk in your purpose with confidence that God will walk with you Hallelujah!!!!!

verse 21 – 23

Ezekiel says that this is what the Lord said to him: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgements – sword and famine and wild beast and plague – to kill its men and their animals! Yet there will be some survivors – sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem – every disaster I have brought upon it. you will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.

sometimes In our compassion we ask God why? why he does certain things ?  some say well if there is a God why does he allow certain things to happen? why is it that this group of people are going hungry? why are we at war? why are babies dying? here’s your answer Ezekiel 14:21 – 23 reminds us to look pass the horrible actions and look deeper in to the conduct and actions. The famine (Hunger), the plague (HIV, Cancer), the beast (Drugs, politicians) sword ( murders) before typing this I said Lord I don’t want people to get this misunderstood. so here’s how he gives it to me. just in the bible these things go on for generations and though our flesh does not understand its your spirit that seeks God that will give you understanding. we have plagues in a word where we have false prophets giving us a good word to gain a profit. we have Idolizing people are separating themselves from God, people are putting there wants in front of the Sovereign. I know what you’re saying what about those that suffer and know God. at the end of their suffering where are they going. If they know God they bare their cross and then go to the  kingdom. and some will survive and praise his name. Glory to God we have people who have survived cancer we have people going 20yrs HIV positive you have people walking around with a bullet in their head, we have people sober after 15yrs on drugs we have people being pulled out of Jail because the were wrongly accused Hallelujah! his word never changes.

Now for the Important part, If you are looking to begin your relationship with the sovereign it starts with your salvation. google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved. Get on your knees and talk to God allow him to fill your cracks with putty and wash you clean. Hallelujah! have an amazing day God bless you

Ezekiel Chapter 9 Idolators killed

verse 1 -6

Ezekiel says that he heard the Lord call out in a loud voice ” Bring the guards of the city here, each with a weapon in his hand.” Ezekiel says he saw 6 men coming from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with a deadly weapon. He says that with the 6 men he saw a man dressed in linen with a writing kit at his side. They came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Ezekiel says that the glory of God went up from the cherubim where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the man called to the man clothed in linen ” Go out to the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve the lament over all the detestable things that are done in it” Ezekiel said he heard the Lord tell the others ” follow him and slaughter everyone but don’t lay a hand on those that have been marked, begin at my sanctuary.” Ezekiel says they began with the elders in front of the temple.

That’s why we do the work, because when the Lord comes back we want to have the mark on our forehead that states we are apart of the church. we want to be the bride to our kinsmen(Jesus). It is in the way we walk, it is in our relationship with the Sovereign that we will receive our mark. The Lord will protect us from death as we walk upright.

verse 7-11

Ezekiel says then the Lord says “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go”they went out and began killing throughout the city. while they were killing Ezekiel says he fell facedown and began crying ” Ah, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?” The lord answered ” The sin of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice. They say the Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see. So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.” Then the man dressed in linen came back and said ” I have done as you commanded.”

As I was reading this chapter, it reminded me that we are expected to do as we are commanded. Our flesh will have us to do what we want. through a relationship with God; we have to build our spirit to be stronger than our flesh, so that we can be  willed in the right direction. the best gifts that God has given us is salvation, and free will. led by a relationship with God, free will can lead you straight to Gods favor.

Now for the Important part If you are looking for Salvation google, download the free bible app,or turn your bible to Roman 10:9 Confess with your mouth tha t Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved. Start a relationship with the sovereign God get in to his word. and receive your mark on your forehead God bless you
