It’s so much More

Blessings Everyone,

I pray that you all are doing well and moving in a upward direction. Can I tell you that God is so amazing! I’m sure that you know this if you’ve joined me on this blog. I spent some time just recapping on all the things that have happened in my life and is happening in my life.

Not to long ago I had the wonderful experience of going to a retreat. This retreat was so amazing a word came from the woman of God that spoke, a word that I was very familiar with. ever time I came in contact with someone this word came forth. I still hadn’t walked in the prophecy and I understood that I would on the certain day that God ordained.

Then I turned forty two weeks ago, yes I am the big 40 now. I had been excited about this change of events, I was out of the wilderness now I’m a big girl. Then something changed, my goals became a lot more God pleasing and a lot less me pleasing

Yes I speak Gods word, but was it for Him or for me? I then began to desire to build virtue this came no doubt after the chew and swallow blog on Luke Chapter 8, go back to the woman with the issue of blood.

My goals began to shift, I want to share virtue not sell knowledge, I want heal the sick, lost, and tormented as well as teach about the kingdom of God. which means I had to shift my angle. This comes to the part where I remind you that usually we are parallel with what we are studying in the Bible. let’s continue.

I start reading Luke Chapter 9.

Get out you Bibles lets study!! Verses 1-6 is about Jesus sending the disciples out to heal the sick, cure diseases, and to preach the kingdom of God. Jesus told them not to take anything, and shake of those that do not receive them.

If you are reading this blog it’s because you are led here and may have been dealing with a tug of your spirit, you know a shift is going on but you can’t put your finger on it. Let me say that as disciples of Christ this is a point that we come to. The attention is nice but if it’s not for the right reasons it will destroy you. You will suffer from inconsistency and a thirst for more, let us remember the scripture tells us that we would not thirst once we are in the presence of God, which means that at some point the flesh started running the show.

When the flesh starts running the show, anything that you come against you will take to heart. Remember Jesus told the disciples that if someone did not receive them to shake it off. When we are flesh led we will find ourselves, feeling attacked, we will look to be a soother so that others wont feel threaten. We are controlled by fear of being left to hang or get or heads chopped off by an unhappy person.

That leads me to Versus 7-9 which reminds us of the death of John the baptist. Because John was on this Earth on assignment he had no desire to be a soothsayer. Herod’s sin was called out by John. Herod’s wife was not happy that John was revealing their truths and she told Herod to behead John and so he did.

When we are on assignment there will be some that will have no doubt want to shut you up, and it is your job to trust God and shake it off. Your loyalty to God as a disciple should override the loyalty that you feel for man.

This word is for the person on assignment to admonish. The Job that we are given isn’t necessarily easy nor is it always worldly rewarding, but in the obedience God takes you to another level, lessens will be learned and you will have the opportunity to spiritually feed people.

Which takes us to the next part of chapter 9 Jesus feeds five thousand, if you catch my videos you know that I always say help me feed five thousand. I love the story of Jesus feeding five thousand it reminds us that when we are obedient and unselfish we see an abundance of overflow. This overflow is not for ourselves but for us to share with others and show others exactly how awesome God is.

In this Chapter we learn so much about the wonderful things that Jesus did as he was walking and teaching us how to walk. Take your time and read this chapter, see what God wants to tell you and teach you. meditate on it .

I will continue with the next half of Chapter 9 tomorrow, no need to rush the word of God.

It’s been a while since I did this but it’s only right

If you want to build a relationship with God and eat well from the table of God turn your Bible to Romans 10:9

Say this Prayer with me,

Lord God you are amazing to me, I want to get to know you, I want to be the one that you call friend. I believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross on Calvary and on the third day rose with power. Ibelieve that Jesus is Lord and paid a ransom for my life so that I can freely go to the father whiter than snow. Thank you Jesus for removing the old rags from me and placing me with a new wardrobe, Than you Jesus I am renewed

In Jesus name Amen

You were meant to move, so why are you afraid when God says go?

Blessings everyone!

Every bit of this chapter spoke to the future me. I understand now why the spirit of God has been beckoning me to read the book of Luke. It brought confirmations, instructions and understanding to my journey.

I’m sure the title has called you here and I want you to grab your bible and sit with me for a second, if you were drawn here this word is for you.

LUKE CHAPTER 4

This chapter starts off with Jesus being tempted in the wilderness. (4:1) And He was full of the Holy Ghost….. led by the spirit into the wilderness. He did not eat nothing, but when it ended, after He hungered.

We come into a time when everything is still. Jesus fasted for 40 days, take this as natural and spiritual. Fast means He did not eat anything . The Holy Spirit is telling me he rested with God, He was emptied to be filled. To get where God wants us to be we will have to remove the thing that we depend on the most. Why? because you are expecting to be stirred and filled a dependent on the Holy Spirit, being taught only by the spirit of God. becoming one with the Holy Spirit insures that what you are being told is God filled My sheep knows my voice John 10:27&28

4:3-13 Takes us into the tempting, the devil did his very best. First he wanted Jesus to prove Himself (4:3)

How many of you have felt you had to prove who God says you are to others. Here is proof that, that’s faithful satan up to his same old tricks.

Jesus’s answer was an answer straight from out of the word of God (4:4) It is written that man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word of God. The devil then promised the world to Jesus

Who has experienced a desire for fame and fortune? Who has desired control? I’m not saying these things are a sin I’m saying to desie them are. Our desire should be to be pleasing to God. Then fame and fortune will be gifted unto you for the obedience of saying yes to what has been asked of you. Let’s go back to the word

Jesus responded again with the word of God. For it is written Thu shalt worship the Lord the thy God and Him alone shall thy serve.

When you have passed these temptations the enemy will even come in like he is for the team of the Heavenly Father and start quoting scripture. (4:10) says satan for it is written he shall give his angels charge over thee and their hands they shall bear thee up. lest anytime thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus says Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. The word says the devil departed from him for that season.

Let me say this before I go on. Satan will try to compromise Gods word. Please not scripture is unchanging there is no compromising.

We are taught how to fight these battles , our weapons are right there in the word of God, right in our faces in the Holy bible. Yes your looking right at it.

The spirit gives us the scripture for our battles satan is consistent he doesn’t try anything new, He stays on the same path, trying to prove to God that you aren’t worthy of the power that God has given to you. When you have won that battle he leaves for a season. (4:14) Starts by saying And Jesus returned in the Power of the spirit, into Galilee and there went out a fame of him through all the region. And he taught is their synagogues being glorified of all.

No need to look for attention. When the spirit of God is in you people will seek you they will flock to you.

This is were the Holy Spirit spoke to me loud in clear (4:18) Jesus opened the book of the prophet Esaias. The word says when he laid open the book he found the place. Saying the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel. (4:20) then he closed the book he said to them today the scripture is fulfilled in your eyes. (4:22) they didn’t understand why he had such power, what made him so special, what made him think he was the prophesy. Jesus than says in (4:24) No prophet is accepted in his own country.

It’s hard to be accepted by the people who knew us pre Holy spirit this is why the lessons of Jesus in the wilderness is important . When it’s about God your not concerned about the ones not willing to listening. Your concerned with the ones that are hungry for the word of God. Your man concern is being obedient to the word of God on your life.

(4:28-32) Tells us that they had gotten so upset with what Jesus said that they had gotten to get to kill Jesus. the word says he slept right by them.

This reminds us that there’s no need to worry Gods timing reigns supreme.

(4:33-37) These verses tell us about Jesus rebuking the spirit of the unclean devil from a man (4:36) Reminds us that we have power and authority to command and when we use it all wil know. (4:37) And the fame of him went out unto every place of the country round about.

We are unsure if we have the power an authority. We have been told “not to play with God” We have been trained to believe that God is not with us, that He is far away. We have been taught to close our mouths and let the leaders speak. We have lost the sense that the leader lives in us.

(4:38)Jesus healed simoens mother in law and she got up and ministered to the people.

(4:40) Tells us that Jesus laid hands on the sick and devils fled and knew his name.

Are you afraid for devils to know your name? God has us covered, we worry about simple attacks (tests) we worry about being on satans most wanted list. We play it safe and let the spirit of God sit dormant in us.

(4:42) The word says Jesus went to the desert place and the people looked for him, they wanted him to stay kin Galilee and Jesus told them he must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities that is why he was sent.

This is why we must move, we must keep the word and glory of God flowing through cities. satan is going to do what he does, God expects us to do what we do with his spirit that rest in us. When you are afraid to move and feel you are not equip remember God doesn’t tell us to go and not have our backs of have already prepared us. go forth filled with the Power of the spirit of God

Someone prepared the way for you, Now you prepare the way for someone else.

Blessings everyone,

This is a good one, we forget that when we walk this Earth we walk a path that someone has already walked and that someone else will follow. we tend to moan and complain about what we maybe going through instead of chopping down trees for the way to be cleared for those that follow . This lesson in the third chapter of Luke puts the word of God in the lesson. It’s easy to say something but when you put Gods word in it, it becomes truth and everlasting.

Luke Chapter 3

Chapter 3 starts by telling us that in the thirteenth year of Tiberius Caesar, God spoke to John in the wilderness.(3:2) John went out into the country preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sin. The action of John was confirmation to the word of Isaiah.

There’s always an order, Isaiah came first letting the people know that John had come to prepare the way for the Lord.

In these verses John begins to teach the people how to live by the Law of loving thy Neighbor. (How to show Gods glory) (3:8-19) These verses tell us to be willing to Share, feed and not be gluttons.

3:8 Reminds us that when we walk in repentance we begin to produce fruit, we begin the process of multiplication.

3:16 John tells the people that the one who will come after him will be more powerful than he is . John goes on to say that he is not worthy to even untie the straps of his sandals.

Lets speak on the fruitfulness, should be able to pour into those that follow us. We should be able to prepare the way for them to get to the point of where we are and beyond. Because we cleared the way they would and should be in a position of understanding, as you once were when you were following someone.

Chapter 3 goes on to teach us that Johns Ministry took him to the prison. the lesson has taught us that John was sent to prison because he was no willing to compromise Gods word. King Herod the leader of the people was living in sin, John was walking in his purpose he was to prepare the way and that was to admonish and open the minds of the people. John rebukes the actions of the leader of the people that he was trying to strongly encourage.

Chapter three ends with the baptism and genealogy of Jesus. The word tells us that as Jesus was praying the Holy Spirit descended on him.

This is why a prayer life is so important to our walk, when we pray it strengthens the spirit of God in us. In prayer we go to God for instructions and lessons, the Holy Spirit interprets Gods word to us. Jesus began his ministry after He was baptized, after the Holy Spirit descended on Him. we can not go forth and produce fruit without the Holy Spirit of God with us.

We learn the family line in which Jesus came from taking us all the way to Adam. All that came before Jesus had been servants with a relationship with God. Let this word remind us of Isaiah 59:21 The spirit of God will stay with us and the word of God will be on the lips of our children and our children’s, children. This is those before you and those after you in the name of Jesus.

To God be the Glory!!!!

If you are ready to give your life over to God and ready to let Jesus come in to teach you, Turn your bible to Roman 10:9

Lord God Thank you for going to the cross with me in your heart and in your mind thank you Lord for stepping down from your throne and walking the path before me I believe in my heart and I say with my mouth that you are Lord and have died for my sins. Thank you Lord for paying the ransom for me that day on Calvary. I believe that on the third day you got up with power and defeated death just for my Salvation. Lord thank you for cleaning me with hyssop so that I can go to the father with a renewed spirit in Jesus name Amen!

Jonah Chapter 2

Blessings everyone!

I pray that you all are doing well today, did you enjoy chapter 1 today? We left off with Jonah in the belly of the fish. Have you thought about a time when you were forced to take the consequences, what did you do? Sometimes our backs can be pushed against the wall and all things, all fingers will point toward us. Can you say, hey it is me I am wrong! I’m realizing that Jonah did not deny or hide when it came time for his moment of truth. As a believer one thing that I have learned is God just wants us to admit our wrongs.

To the Followers thank you for your support and fellowship! If you happen to be scrolling and came across this blog welcome! If you enjoyed the bible study don’t forget to follow so that you can get notification of new blogs. Let me introduce myself!

My name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God, Some of the ways that I serve God is by writing this blog, I am the founder of Journey in Praise and the Host of Verse of the Day on Facebook, I am also the Host of the Journey in Praise podcast as well as an Arthur for the kingdom . Let’s get in to the word!

This chapter shows us that even though Jonah was in the belly of the fish, he had to give God the Glory for his life.

Verse 1-5 Jonah says he cried out and God heard him from the belly of hell. he was cast into the deep sea, engulfed in currents, with seaweed wrapped around his head.

Imagine being in Jonah’s position. what could you do but pray. your in the belly of a fish, you know what got you there , you actually suggest to be thrown in the sea.

Sometimes we find ourselves in sitiuations where we walked right through the wrong door. some of us have found ourselves lacking in finances because of poor spending habits. some of us have found ourselves fired from our jobs because we didn’t get up and go to work. whatever it is the outcome is your big fish.

verse 6-10

Jonah speaks of when he lost hope when his soul fainted, when he couldn’t take anymore, when he was overwhelmed that’s when he remembered the Lord. Jonah remembered and proclaimed that he was the sacrifice to God and that his salvation is from the Lord,

We can find ourselves with 2 million things to do, it’s when we put God first and give ourselves to God we see and understand that it is God who is going to release us from that hold. WE CAN NOT RUN FROM GOD. WILL YOU BE THE SACRIFICE?

Amen

Listen if you are saying ” I want to sacrifice myself give my life to God. Turn your bible to Romans 10:9 Say with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and on the third day God raised him in Power than you shall be saved.

Take the time to build your relationship with God. find a bible based church, begin studying the word and get among some like minded people but most important start to build your prayer life, talk to the Lord tell Him all about it.

Run the Race!

Blessings Faithwalkers

I pray that you all are walking upright and Blameless!!!

I have been deep into the study of righteousness and was waiting on , instructions on the blog.

Can I be transparent for a moment? It has been a task trying to adapt to the new format of the blog. For a couple of years now I have been doing bible study here on this platform. At this moment in time, I’m just led to talk and share what I’ve learned and I sit here wondering what to say. The Holy Spirit is saying, type about your lesson learned talk about your milestones crossed.

Next to me is a lesson on praise in our righteousness and on the tiltle which will probably be changed it reads the same thing. yet my spirit is not in a teaching moment it;s in a sharing moment .

I guess what I have learned this week is that, this is not my blog, this is not my ministry, my plans are changeable. When we say, I am your vessel Lord use me, expect to be used when ever and how ever He sees fit.

This weekend I completed 40 days of devotionals from my book Service in Glory. I was able to witness the 2 followers have breakthroughs in their lives. that’s what this walk is about. to help our neighbors get to where God wants them to be. assist in the journey.

The Holy spirit is showing me a vision of a person running a race and people standing on the sideline with water, medics ready to repair and ice down an ache.

That’s what help does! As we are running toward God’s purpose for our lives. The water is the word to get you through when your throat is dry from panting in fervent prayer and praise, a medic for when your spirit has been broken, your faith tested. Support to cheer you on the way. Some are there for you and others are there to watch you. Never the less your position is to focus on finishing, you can’t give up even if you have to finish the race on your knees. God wants you to know that He will carry you the rest of the way as long as you are consistent.

The works of our hands are all for God’s Glory Psalm 51:13 tells us that we work and move in purpose so that sinners will turn back to God. They will see our light and move forward. We are drawn to the light when we are stuck in Dark places.

Be Blessed

Listen , If you are stuck in a dark place and desire to be illuminated by the light of God say this prayer.

Lord God ,

I am but a sinner in this word, I do be leave that you have placed me on this earth for your will and your purpose, I do believe in my heart that Jesus is LOrd and came down from his throne just so that I can be seen by the Father. I declare with my mouth That Jesus died for my sins and rose in three days with power, Lord forgive my trangression and iniquities and wash me of my sin whiter than snow so that I  can be a light in this world in the name of Jesus, Amen

Sinning Ain’t Winning Part II (Psalm 51)

Blessings Everyone,

I pray that you all are working on and walking in righteousness! It may at times be trying for us, but it is important that at trying times we walk in 1 John 3:7 and not let others lead us astray. we must keep in mind that we need to walk right as Jesus walked right. we are to focus on looking like God, being his image.

let’s talk about Psalms 51. Yesterday the Holy spirit led us to the scripture of cleansing. In 2019 I’m sure you have heard a lot of people talk about Deliverance, when we go and ask God to Deliver us from things that are attaching itself to us, the first step is to ask God to cleanse us.

We say; Lord have Mercy on me~ have compassion for me, your love is right on time. and then we ask God to take away our transgressions. Knowing that God wants us to spend sometime with Him so that He can teach us and speak in to and through us, He waits for us to come to Him and say Father I keep messing this thing up, nothing seems to go right.

I go left and the door is closed I go right and something is in front of my path, Lord I don’t have the strength alone to move it out of my way. The Lord begins to show us the things that we have allowed to clutter our path from Him. These are the things that we begin to put before Him, making them our idol.

Once we begin to see, the things we have done, we ask God to wash us of our immoral behavior; our wickedness. we ask to be cleansed because we now know better, so now we ask for the help to do better because we know our transgressions are always before us.

the Psalm reminds us that we sin only against God, and God can only judge us. we acknowledge that we are born with a sinful nature from the time that we were conceived; yet God desires us to be faithful from the womb. (mother’s pray with your babies in gestation)

We have faith that when the Lord cleanses us with hyssop we will be clean. When the Lord washes us we will be white as snow. e believe that the Lord will create in us a pure heart and a steadfast spirit. We ask the Lord not to take us from His presence or take the Holy spirit from us.

Now after the Lord has cleansed us and we have been washed from our sins and changed into white garments Zechariah 3:5 then comes our righteous walk.

Psalm 51:13 Tells us that once we are cleansed, we begin to walk as teachers to sinners. God will open our lips and we will sing his praise.

We learn from this study that once you are free and cleaned of your transgressions, you start to win. You begin to teach others and help them come to the Lord for a cleansing of their sin. It’s important for us to pass on what we have learned Jesus told the disciples to go out and do this Matthew 28:19.

If you are ready to stand in position in your purpose Pray with me!

Heavenly Father

Thank you for your Love and Grace, Lord God wash me of my sins, purify me God, create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit with in me. Lord I declare with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart and spirit that He died for my sins and on the third day rose in power. Father God Thank you for Salvation In Jesus name Amen

Welcome into the family of God, May God bless your Journey

Be Blessed

Sinning ain’t winning Isaiah 64:6

Blessings Everyone!

I pray that you all are working hard at walking in righteousness. It’s important for us to stand on our foundation of Faith and trust in the Lord with all out heart. our righteousness is canopied by our faith. our faith in our Prayers, our faith in our praise and our faith in our walk.

Let’s get in to Scripture!

Isaiah 64:6  – But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The topic for this blog “sinning ain’t winning” comes from the Holy spirit teaching me about the righteous walker, the servant of God speaking God’s word and sinning. They will have to go before the Lord for judgement.

When we walk in righteousness we are to obey the laws of God. some have made the statement “when Jesus came from his throne died, rose and ascended he washed us and the commands have been taken away.” Not true! lets try our best not to adlib the word of God for our own personal purpose. Matthew 22:38 -This is the first and greatest commandment in the Law. Look at the word is used in present tense if the Law was over the word used would be Was.   Let us also remember that Jesus was with out sin because He himself lived His life by the commands of the Law.

Now what he did do was add another one that was really there in the first place. which is Love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:39 here’s why I say it was already there commandments 5- 10 has everything to do with loving and respecting your neighbor. Glory be to God! for assigning us help and to be helpers. Let’s get back to righteousness and sinning.

So when we are not respecting each other or putting God first that means; spending more time with Him then we spend with our TV’s; being obedient to the appoint time of fellowship that He assigns with you (for some of us that means rising at 5 am); watching how we speak ( the power of Life and death) and following the commands. when we are not following the commandments we become filthy and start to look like Joshua when he went before the angels of God in Zechariah 3:1-5

Zechariah 3:1-5 tells us that the vision showed Joshua before the angels of the Lord filthy and satan at his right side to accuse him. my question to you righteous Man/woman are you willing to let Satan stand at your judgement?

The filthy rags is symbolic to our righteous acts while we are in sin (Isaiah 64:6) now that this word was brought to light and you have been admonished are you willing to ask for forgiveness and start to stand in Zechariah 3:4-5.

If you are ready for a change and God to assign for your garments to be changed, let’s go to psalms 51:1 -12 we ask the Lord to forgive us of our sins and iniquities, we ask the Lord our God to wash us white as snow with hyssop, we ask the Lord our God to hide his face from our past sin and blot out all of our iniquities. to create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit with in us. We proclaim with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and we believe with our hearts that he died and in three days rose with all power, we give thanks to the Lord our God for our Salvation in Jesus Amen

Glory be to God for those who have read and agreed with their hearts welcome to the family of God. I pray that this word helped you all to understand why it is important not to allow the things of this day to hold you from what God has ordered over your life.

Join in tomorrow we will continue to glean on righteousness and cleanliness we will be jumping into the psalms 51

Be Blessed!

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.
