Isaiah Chapter 25

Praise to the Lord

Verse 1- 12

This word starts off with the Prophet Isaiah praising and exalting God, He says “for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

Isaiah speaks of the Lord taking down a city to a heap of ruins, the strong hold of the foreigners will be no more and never rebuilt.

And so, the strong people will honor you (Speaking to the Lord) cities of ruthless nations will revere (Respect) you.

Isaiah says in his praise to the Lord, that He (the Lord) will be a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy and their distress and a shelter from the storm. (Hallelujah) A shade from the Heat. (My God)

Isaiah goes on to say that on the Mountain the Lord will prepare a feast of rich foods for all people, a banquet of aged wine, the best of meats and the finest of wines.

On this Mountain he will destroy the shroud (a garment the dead are wrapped in) that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; He will swallow up death forever.

Isaiah says He will remove disgrace from the earth.

In that they will say

“Surely this is our God;

We trusted in Him, and He saved us.

This is the Lord, we trusted in Him;

Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

The word goes on to say that the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain, but Moab will be trampled in their land. God will bring down their pride, despite the cleverness of their hands.

Amen, Amen, and Amen her lies a word for those of you who are beginning your prayer life

verse 1-6 is great for beginning praise. we serve a God who has covered us, who has prepared a healthy and rich feast by people that he has improved over the years (aged wine) the feast is fulfilling with the best of meats (the word).

In this chapter we learn that the Lord and savior is coming to swallow death forever and wipe away the tears from our faces. Even more reason to glorify God.

We also learn that the strongholds will be no more, the Lord will bring them down to dust.

Glory Be to God

If you are looking for God to redeem you and set you up on a mountain for this wonderful feast. Blessings Everyone,

Isaiah Chapter 22

A Prophecy about Jerusalem

verse 1- 25

The Lord says through the prophet to Jerusalem, why are you screaming and yelling  now. Your so full of festive celebration. Your slain were not killed by the sword in battle. Your leaders fled together and have been captured without the bow.

The Lord says through the prophet; you all were taken together, even though they had fled far away.

The Lord says look away from me, let me weep bitterly and don’t comfort me. For the Lord God of Host has a day of dread and uproar in the  Valley of Vision, a day of knocking down walls and crying out to the mountains.

Elam took up the fear, with chariots, foot soldiers and horsemen.

The word says the Lord stripped away the covering of Judah, and in that day he looked to the weapons of the house of the forest.

verse 9 goes on to say; The Lord says through the prophet that they say the walls of the city of David broken, you collected the water in the lower pool.

you counted the houses and tore down the houses to get materials to extend the city wall. But you didn’t look to his maker or have regard for the on who planned it long ago. (Give God the Glory)

So the Lord God has called you to weeping and mourning. instead you are celebrating saying let us eat and drink because we may die tomorrow.

but the Lord tells Isaiah that this sin will not be forgiven

The Lord says to Go say to the steward administrator; who are you to cut out a grave for yourself.

The Lord is about to take a hold of you and hurl you away, He will roll you up like a ball and throw you into a large country and there you will die.

The Lord says In that day He will summon his servant Eliakim son of Hilkiah, He will cloth him with the administrators rob and place his sash on him and hand  him the administrators authority. He will be a father to those in Jerusalem and to the people of Judah.

The Lord says He will then place on his shoulders the key of the house of David, what he opens no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open.

He will become a throne of honor and glory to his father’s house

This word tells us the Jerusalem was delivered by God but they did not change their ways, they were busy celebrating and living in sin, this hurt the Lord that they had not learned the lesson that was intended.

The Lord was not going to forgive them until he sends Eliakim – The resurrection of God who will become the glory and honor. Hallelujah That moment when your like ohhhh that’s why Jesus had to step down and walk this earth. Jerusalem really messed up.

This is why it’s important to see God in all things, to understand that God’s plan for us is so big, that he even planned to forgive in his anger.

okay, if you want to go to the Father and be forgive by your sins Declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord Eliakim and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead Then you shall be saved.

Find yourself a bible based church and get in the midst of so like minded people and begin you walk in righteousness.

Be Blessed

Isaiah Chapter 20

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are relying on God for your every need. Don’t look for others to take care of you, or protect you look to God.

Isaiah Chapter 20

verse 1- 6

This chapter tells us about the prophecy against Egypt and Cush. The word says the king of Assyria had went to Ashdod and attacked and captured the people. when this happen the Lord told the prophet Isaiah to strip from his sackcloth and sandels and walk bare for three years as a sign against Eygpt and Cush (Ethiopia) showing shame to Egypt.

The Isralites will see what has happened to the people that they trusted and ran for help to.

The Israelites had to see that running to a people for help was not the way. How could it be when God is our and our light.

Have you ever noticed it’s when you think someone will come through with what you need and you depend on that will be the moment that they are not available or able  to help. a set up to depend only on God.

If you are tired of depending on other people and you want to try the Almighty God turn your bible, download the youversion free bible app, or google Romans 10:9, Declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin your righteous walk with fellowship, prayer life and bible study, and let God move mountains for you.

Isaiah Chapter 9

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are doing well in your righteous walk. It can sometimes seem like you are going through a lot of things and it may even feel like they are hitting you all at once. when life hits like that, it is time to hide in the presence of the Lord.

I have come to learn that when it’s hitting me hard, the Lord is trying to get my attention. for the intercessors that means going into prayer more often. For the prophets and the teachers it may mean studying the word a bit more deeper.

Whatever the deeper is, the most valuable part is the unlock that comes from it. God is waiting to recover what was destroyed as he did Manasseh, but first we must go to him and be ready to change the things that he wants to change.

To the followers thank you for your support you are appreciated! If you happen to be scrolling and came across this blog, thanks for stopping by. If you are led please follow so that you can get notifications of new blog posts. Let me introduce myself!

Isaiah Chapter 9

verse 1- 7

The Lord continues to tell Isaiah the gloom will not be on her (the land) who is distressed, as when it was first had taken over the land of Zebulon and the land of Naphtali heavily oppressed people lived by the sea, beyond the Jordan, in Galilee of the gentiles.

The people who were in darkness (oppressed, depressed, and did not hear or see God) have seen a great light those who stayed in the land of the shadow of death, would see the light upon them. the nations will multiply the joy will increase. they will celebrate over their harvest. The yoke of their burdens will be broken and the staff of their shoulders, the rod of their oppressors like when Gideon blew his trumpet, for all the blood that was shed God will set flame (rebuke) of fire.

To us a child will be born a son given and the government will be on his shoulders his name will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, prince of peace. From the increase of his government and peace there will be no end, on the throne of David there will be no end to order it and establish it with judgement and justice for that time on, even forever the zeal of the Lord of host will perform this.

In these verses Isaiah tells the people of what will come from the darkness to light. This word applied to our lives tell us that we will go through things in our lives and there will and can be darkness then comes Jesus, and we call him wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace.

When there is no way, then comes God making away, because he loves us so much! showing us how wonderful he is, how mighty he is in our lives, and if we listen, how well he can counsel us. The peace that he will bring us, will bring everlasting life to us.

Verse 8-17

The verses says the Lord sent a word against Jacob and it all fell on Israel. The people of Ephraim and Samaria will know it. They will say the bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with stone. The sycamores are cut down, but we will replace them with cedars. Therefore the Lord raises Ephraim adversaries. from Rezin and spurs their enemies on. The Syrians before  and the Philistines after and they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. For all his anger is not turned away, but his hand is still stretched out.

Yet the people do not turn to Him who strikes them, nor do they seek the Lord of host.

Therefore the Lord will cut off head and tail from Israel palm branch and bulrush in one day. The elder and the honorable is the head. The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail. The leaders of the people cause them to fumble and the ones who are led by them will be destroyed.

The Lord will have no joy in their young man and no mercy on the fatherless and widows, because everyone is hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks foolishness and with all of this he’s angry but He still willing to help.

Even when we fail to give  God the glory he’s still right there waiting on us, and even if you didn’t know any better he’s still going to destroy the one who taught you.

This word is important for the impostors teaching and speaking, on their will, and according to their word’s. Leaving out Gods Glory in what he is doing and speaking on their own emotions and not the spirit of the Lord.

Taking on leadership positions, places us in a position that influences people. How we influence the people will be how God deals with us.

As believers in Christ we must realize that if we are not operating in the Holy Spirit and we are trying to move the body of Christ, it’s not going to work, God is going to destroy what is not good. When we move and  the Holy Spirit  is not in it, it becomes a self made, self recognized, self ruled thing.

We can not act out God’s orders or give him the glory if we are allowing ourselves to get in the way. This leads us to get in the way of the purpose of others. leading them in the wrong direction.

Verse 18-21

Isaiah tells the people that the Lord says wickedness burns like a fire, it consumes briars and thorns it even sets the forest thickets ablaze and mount up like rising smoke, by the wrath of God ( the word is the God of host “Armies) the land is burned up and the people shall be in fuel for the fire, no man shall snatch on the right hand and be hungry, he shall devour the left hand and not be satisfied. Every man will eat the flesh of his own arm.

Manasseh will devour Ephraim and Ephraim will devour Manasseh together they will be against Judah, and with all this His anger isn’t turned away and still his hand is stretched out

The verses starts by saying the day will come when wicked burns, is devoured  this being because of the Lord’s wrath. The people shall be the fuel for the burning land.

What we do will determine what will happen. This word is for a people that did not give God the Glory, this word was for a people who were so busy Idolizing, and being told to idolize. Even in hardship they did not say Lord why are you punishing me. They said “I have to do it better, I have to get more”

In a day where we have so many television Apostles, Prophets, Ministers we must keep in mind of this word, hold it like the warning it is.

The Lord wants the people to know that he will turn away, they will go through hardship, they will see and fuel His fire.

Verse 16; we are warned about leading in lies, and so we will be brought to repentance.

As I was writing this blog I was led to go deeper into the study of Ephraim and Manasseh. while I was studying I learned that Manasseh was held captive by the Assyrian king and was tortured until he repented and was recovered, when he did he abandoned his Idolatry ways.

God destroys and then he builds. He will bring us through somethings, so  that we learn our lessons. He will turn from us and stretch out his hands, and then send help to build us up.

Jesus was sent just for this reason

Israel had become an Idolatry people, doing evil in the eyes of God. They stop walking in faith and trying to be pleasing to God the had stopped believing God for all their needs.

When we apply the word from these verses we know that no matter how we want to cover it up, when we bring things in the natural that is from our own will and we bring them to God and to His people we must be ready to see it destroyed.

It’s not your ministry, it’s Gods; it’s not your church, it’s God!

Blessings if you want to began a relationship with the Lord of host and you want to see what he can do in your life then turn your bible; download the free bible app; or google Romans 10:9 and If you say with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and God raised him from the dead than you will be Saved.

Get yourself into a bible based church, find a Holy Spirit filled group to fellowship with and let the Lord move and destroy all that is not of him and for your good.

Be Blessed

Isaiah Chapter 8

logo_2042734_web

Blessing Everyone,

I pray that you all are walking in obedience, and making sure that you have your ears to Gods lips. As I was finishing up this chapter I meditated on how can I make sure that I give God the Glory in all things concerning me, that includes trials and tribulations, rocket fire and waits.

When we pray for God to come in and hand our enemies to us, kick down doors that we though were cemented we must be ready to welcome God in to our environment. This chapter was a sneak peak of what happens when God turns his back on us and treats us as we treat Him.

Lets get into the word!

Isaiah Chapter 8

Verse 1-10 Isaiah and his children as signs

These verses tell us that the Lord told Isaiah to take a scroll and write on it  with a regular pen Maher – Shalal- Hash- Baz (Quick to plunder, swift to the spoil) and so Isaiah called on the witnesses  of the priest Uriah, and Zachariah son of Jerberchiah. Isaiah said that then he made love to his wife the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son and the Lord told Isaiah to name him Maher -Shalal-Hash-Baz. Isaiah says that the Lord said before the boy knew how to call out for his parents the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.

The Lord spoke to Isaiah again telling him that because the people rejected his presence and rejoiced over the fall of Rezin and the son of Ramaliah, the Lord is about to bring on them a mighty floodwaters of the river.

The king of Assyria and all his army will overflow through the towns and cities and fill up the land. The word goes on to say that the Lord tells Isaiah to tell the people, they will be shattered into pieces. Listen for countries, prepare yourself but you will be broken. Make plans, but it wont come to anything, speak your plans, but it won’t come to nothing, because God is with us.

These verses show us how powerful God is when we turn our backs to him. When we do not follow instructions and when the Lord decides to confirm his word. When we apply this word to our lives it starts with our faith.

The Lord will confirm his word. In Chapter 7 the Lord says that Rezin, Syria and the son of Ramaliah would not get their way. even though the prophecy was confirmed the people still turned their backs on God rejoicing the fall but not giving God the Glory.

We can not pray and beg God to deliver us and then when he shows up not bother to give Him the praise and the Glory for taking care of us.  We learn in this chapter that something bigger than what we first feared will be the end result. No matter what you plan to get out of it, your still going to feel it.

We must give God the Glory when He comes through in your life. We should be on a “As for me and my household” Level with our praise.

verse 11-22

The word says that the Lord spoke to Isaiah with a strong hand (seriousness) that he (Isaiah) should not walk in the ways of the people. not to say conspiracy concerning all things the call a conspiracy, nor should he be afraid of their threats, nor trouble. you should Hallow in him, lets Him be your fear, let Him be your dread. He will be a stone of stumbling, a rock to trip on, to both the houses of Israel. A trap and snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and many among them shall stumble over them then they will fall and be broken and even be cornered and trapped.

Bind up the testimonies and seal the law. (here’s your ark) among my disciples and I will wait on the Lord who hides his face from the house of Jacob and I will look for him.

Isaiah says listen carefully “Here am I and the children the Lord gave to me. we are signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts who dwells in mount Zion.”

And when they say to you seek those who are mediums and wizards,  who whispers and mutters, should not a people seek their God? Should the seek the dead on behalf of the living? Direct them to the testimonies and the law. If they do not speak according to this word, that is because there is no light in them.

Those that seek any one other than God will go through life deeply distressed and hungry (empty) and they will become enraged and curse their king and their God as they look upward, and they will only see darkness and distress. When they look at the earth, and they will be driven away in darkness and overwhelming night.

We are placed in some difficult surrounding around people that have zero light. If we are not careful their speech can easily become our speech. As believers we must focus only on following the word of God and listen only to those who walk with the light of God in them.

When we are not filed by the glory of God, we are walking around anxious and hungry, frustrated and tired, that position will place you in darkness.

If you find yourself listening and following the ways of the “they’s” you will find yourself empty and hungry, because you are looking for answers to life from the dead,

Hey! If you want to be in the light and get your answers from the one true living God turn your bible, download the free bible app or google Romans 10:9

Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and God raised him from the dead, you shall be Saved.

Start your relationship with God by reading this chapter in your bible and let the Lord tell you what you need to know. get your self into a sound doctrine bible based church and begin your fellowship with followers of Christ Jesus

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 8

I pray that you all are moving in faith. With a sound mind in God. The word reminds us that a wise man will build his house on rock and not sand, for when a storm comes a house on sand will sink.

Matthews Chapter 8

Verse 1 – 4

Jesus Performs many Miracles

These verses are on Jesus healing the man with Leprosy.

The word says when Jesus came down from the mountain crowds followed him. There was a man with leprosy that came and knelt in front of him. The man asked Jesus to make him mclean.

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said

“I am willing, you are cleaned.”

Jesus told the man not to tell anyone who healed him, but to show himself to the priest and offer the gifts that Moses commanded as a testimony.

When we are walking in the miracles of God there is no need to tell it on the mountain when a person see’s us then they will know exactly what is going on. I am guilty of telling it on the mountain. I can never seem to hold what God is doing in my life. This scripture I will pray into my life. Let my healing be my testimony.

Verse 5 – 13

A Roman Centurion Demonstrates Faith

The word says that when Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for his help. There was a servant that was laying paralyzed in terrible suffering.

Jesus says to the man “ I will go, and heal him”

The man begins to tell Jesus that he does not deserve to have Jesus under his roof but if Jesus would just say the word, and the servant is healed. The man begins to tell Jesus that he is a man of authority as well and if he tells his servants to go and do something they will go.

Jesus was astonished to her what the man said. The word says that Jesus said to the people that he has never seen anyone with such great faith. Jesus says many will come from the east and the west and take their place at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside in to the darkness.

Jesus tells the man to go! It will be done just a you believe it would.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.

We can be subjects of the word of God but it is when we move in faith that God has the power and authority to heal and fix all things is when we move toward that feast. You must believe in God’s power to be obedient.

Verse 14 – 17

Jesus heals peters mother-in- law and many others.

The word says that when Jesus came in peters house Peter’s mother in law was laying ing the bed dying from fever. Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her body and she got up and waited on him.

The word says when the evening came many who were demon possessed were brought to him. And he drove out spirits and healed all sick

“He took our infirmities, and carried our diseases.”

One thing came to my head when reading this part. We do not live in a day where people believe in miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe in a day where those that are believers doubt that they could be healed our mouths say won’t he do it and our brains say what am I going to do.

Verse 18 – 23

Jesus Teaches about the cost of following Him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd that followed him, he told everyone to cross to the other side of the lake. The word says a man who was a teacher of the law, came up to Jesus and said Teacher I will follow you wherever you go.

Jesus told the man that Foxes have holes and birds have nest, but the Son of man has no place to lay his head.

Another man told Jesus, that once he bury his father he will go with him and Jesus told him let the dead bury the dead and follow him.

We must be willing to understand that following Jesus may not mean stability. You’re going to have to take those risks on faith. Jesus didn’t have a place to live he was moving on faith that just like that fox had a hole and the bird had a nest that God will provide our place while we are moving forward.

When Jesus told the man to let the dead bury the dead. He may have been telling the man to follow him and live. God is like that our faith walk has us move from the things that are not of God. The man that wanted to go bury his father may have tried to put off walking in faith with Jesus. This will happen to us, when we begin to start following Jesus things will try to distract us. Remember that all things that isn’t of God does not give us life, we will have to be able to make the decision to let the dead bury the dead and live in Jesus name.

Verse 23-27

Jesus calms the storm

The word says that when Jesus got into the boat his disciples followed him and then a furious storm appeared, the waves crashed over the boat. The word says that Jesus was sleeping and his disciples woke him up saying “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

The Lord replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then the Lord got up and rebuked the storm and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and said “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey.

I have always believed that when we sleep God comes and spends time with us. Why not rest during a storm? When you rest during a storm you spend your time in faith. Not stressing about how are you going to fix it. When your faith is strong you know that God has given you the authority to tell that storm to go that it is not the center of your universe.

When we are moving in faith we cannot worry about the storm, worrying about the storm says that we lack confidence in the power of God, you cannot be a believer and doubt God.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation of faith with bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer.

Matthew Chapter 7

Jesus Teaches about Criticizing others

Verse 1- 6

Jesus teaches us, do not judge or we will be judged with the same measure of judgement that you used to judge. The Lord says we can’t look at the little things about others and criticize them and we have bigger things blocking our vision.

The Lord shows us that we can’t judge walking around crittizeing others when we are showing someone that something is not right, we should be standing in position as a helper not as a demolition. It is important that we are uplifting each other toward God.

Verse 7 -12

Jesus Teaches about Asking, Seeking, knocking

Jesus tells us ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to you. Everyone who does these things shall receive.

Jesus askes who is Gods son and ask for bread and get stone. Our ask for a fish and be given a snake? Jesus tells us that the Father in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask him. The Lord says in everything so unto others what you would have them do to you. This is said by the Law and the Prophets.

It’s important to our spirit that we do right by the people that come into our lives. We should allow ourselves to not walk around wishing misery on each other. We should be able to see that we all are trying to move forward in life. We all are out for the greater good even though the good to many are different it’s important to know that we all desire it which means that there is no need to want someone else to fail or need.

If we can help in our time, finances if God has already sent you an overflow be ready to spread that over flow so that others may be able to have a little in their cup. Remember a cup that overflows end up wasting what if you don’t pour it into another glass.

Verse 13 &14

Jesus Teaches about the Way to Heaven

Jesus teaches us that if we want to head into destruction we would go the road that has many people and large options but if we want to get in to heaven there’s only one way and few take that road.

The walk as a believer is a walk of discipline and relationship. It takes lots of patience to stand and walk righteously a relationship with God puts us in a place that we are seeking him and when we stand in that place challenges will come and test your faith to allow you to build another level of faith in God. Many will try to fit through that gate but it takes humbleness to be able to fit and continue walking. Knowing God provides all and we when we are tempted still keep moving in what God has instructed. The word says

“don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

When we are weak in faith as soon as a stress factor comes with tomorrows worry we seem to try to fall off the narrow road and try to find our own path.

Verse 15-20

Jesus Teaches about Fruit in People’s Lives

Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets, they come like wolves in sheep clothing. Pay attention to their fruit. Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Especially in this day you can scroll Facebook and find many people with the title Prophet before their names. Take the time to sit and speak with God before you run and do what they are telling you that “God said” look around them and see what God is moving in their life. Remember everything that comes from God is good.

Verse 21-29

Jesus Teaches about Those Who Build Houses on Rock and Sand.

Jesus says you can cry out Lord, Lord and still not get into heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will get there.
“They may say didn’t I prophesy in your name and drive out demons and perform miracles in your name. and I will say to them get away from me you evil doers.”

Jesus tells us that if we listen to his words and put them in practice it is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The storm came and the house did not move. But the ones who hears the words and doesn’t put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The storm can and the house fell with a great crash.

The word says when Jesus was done teaching the crowd was amazed because he spoke with authority and not a teacher.

We must remember to apply the word of God to our lives this is important. We stand on the word of God that is solid ground if you don’t apply a practice of faith and righteous living you cannot think that you will stand strong in the tough times.

You cannot turn your back on God when the sun is up and then when the rain starts to get heavy you scream Lord, Lord. We cannot be hypocrites; our walk should place us in the position to want the Heavenly Father to have a smile on his face because he knows that we are strong in faith because we practice I every day. He has been training us for a time like this. What are you going to do in the storm be the light on the night stand or be the light under the night stand.

Be Blessed

When we walk in faith, we are walking with God, we are allowing God to led us in to everyplace that he knows that we will soar in. So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.

Be Blessed

1 Samuel chapter 16

Samuel anoints David

verse 1 – 7

The Lord asked Samuel how long he will mourn for Saul, since he was rejected as king of Israel. The Lord tells Samuel to get himself together, fill his horn with oil and be on his way to Jesse of Bethlehem where the Lord had chosen one of Jesse’s sons to be king.

Samuel said to the Lord. How can I do the Saul will find out and kill me. The Lord tells Samuel to take a heifer with him and say he is going to sacrifice, the  Lord tells Samuel to invite Jesse and his son’s to the sacrifice and the Lord will show him what to do. The Lord tells Samuel that he was to anoint the one the Lord has indicated.

Samuel did as the Lord told him. When Samuel arrived in town the elders greeted him with worry they asked him if he came in peace. Samuel told the people that he had come to sacrifice, he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

When they arrived Samuel saw Eliab and Samuel thought that the anointed was already there as surely as Eliab was standing. but the Lord told Samuel not to look at his appearance or his height for the He ( the Lord) had rejected Eliab.

In this scripture the Lord says to Samuel how long are you going to mourn Saul. Sometimes when we are working on something and putting our everything into it and it fails we can go into depression not want to do anything else. But the Lord says how long are you going to mourn it. It’s time to get up and do a new thing. was Saul Samuel’s  purpose? no his purpose was to find a king for the people so now he has to fill his horn with oil and get up and find a king.

The same thing applies to us we may be working on something birthing a new thing in our purpose and then it doesn’t work out the way you want it to. The Lord is saying don’t just sit there and soak about what didn’t work, get up and start the next thing until your purpose is fulfilled.

Really quick, I want to touch on Eliab. Samuel saw Eliab and said “the anointed is right there”. I’m sure his mind said the Lord doesn’t need me. The Lord says to him don’t look at his appearance or his height for I have rejected him. We are reminded that we can not look at someones outer appearance or the stories that we heard about them to compare to ourselves we have to go in following instruction and focused on the instruction. looking at someone else will just distract you from what you are suppose to be doing. There is no need to judge on appearance and word we do not know their heart or their walk with God.

verse 8 – 13

Jesse brought seven sons before Samuel, and none of them were the one that the Lord had chosen. Samuel asked Jesse if he had another son and Jesse told him about the youngest that was tending to the sheep. Samuel told him to go get the son they would not sit down until he came. When Jesse’s youngest son walked in the Lord said to Samuel “Rise and anoint him; he is the one” Samuel took the oil from the horn and anointed him in the presence of his brothers and from that day on the spirit of the Lord came upon David. the word says that Samuel then went to Ramah.

Glory to God let me just say this When in a relationship with God it’s important to move when He says. in order for us to be able to move in what the Lord says we need to ask the Lord to purge us of all things that is not of him. Gory God. Had Samuel not been in a relationship with God he would have anointed the wrong brother. when we don’t follow his instruction we end up in the wrong position.

David in Saul’s Service

The spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul and he was tormented with an evil spirit the word says this came from the Lord. Saul’s attendants suggested that he find someone who can play the Harp for him when the Evil spirit comes upon him and this would make him feel better.

Saul sent his attendants to find someone. One of the servants stated that the son of Jesse plays the Harp and then he begins breaking down David’s attributes. The word say that Saul then sent a messenger to Jesse’s house saying “Send me your son David” Jesse loaded a donkey and gifts and sent David on his way.

When Saul saw David he liked him, he made David his armor-bearer and sent Message to Jesse. asking him to allow David to stay, he was pleased with him. The word says that whenever a spirit from God came upon Saul David would play the Harp, Saul would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.

Glory be to God as I was reading this scripture I had to say “Look at God”. We know that Samuel did not want to run in to Saul. we know that when God’s spirit left from Saul it left a spirit Devastation, depression, Hate, Mourn they all laid on Saul he went from nothing to king but what pained him was he didn’t follow God’s instruction and he knew he was rejected as king.

The Lord anointing David before he went in to Saul’s house was a blessing. The power of God was with him. His instructions was to be in positions and follow instructions. To stand in his purpose. (Which we know is to take over as king, for God is not a man that he should lie.)

As we walk through this day let’s remember that on a foundation of faith you stand firm, no matter what you have to go through to get there ( Samuel hands were probably sore, he was tired, he missed his sheep, and arguing with his brothers.) When God is with us, and we stay obedient, we stand in Power. Yeah it’s hard at times, you may even fail as Saul did. But it’s your choice to get up and move on as God told Samuel or be stuck with a spirit that reminds you of your failures. To be soothed by the anointing of the person that will take your place. To love him because he did the one thing that put your mind at ease. Stuck in a spirit is conviction of all your shoulda, coulda, woulda’s Remember to follow instructions God told Samuel “How long are you going to mourn Saul? fill your horn with oil and lets go to the next one”

Now for the important part, If you are looking for Salvation and you want to begin building you foundation on faith Download the free bible app, google , or turn your bibles to Roman 10:9 and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Start your bible I encourage you to go to this chapter and read it, see what the Lord shows you. A Foundation of faith is built on Prayer, Worship, Word Study, Fellowship and Praise Applying it to your life is staying in position for instructions.

Blessings Everyone!

I pray that you all are doing well this morning. Here we are at the top of the week and some may be wishing they were still basking in the weekend. Let’s look at this day as another God given opputunity to get it right, to work on the things that we want to be great at. Lets allow God to purge us, and fill us up with his anointing, in hopes that we can pass the glory of God on to our neighbors.

To my followers thank you for joining in, you are very much appreciated. If you were scrolling and happen to come across this bible study blog, Welcome! thank you for joining in you are appreciate. Let me introduce myself.

1 Samuel Chapter 13

Samuel rebukes Saul

verses 1 – 15

When Saul became king he was thirty years old and he served for forty- two years. Saul built his army by selecting Three thousand men from Israel. two thousand of them were with him in Micmash and in the hill country of Bethel. The word says  a thousand men were with Jonathan at Gibeah in Benjamin. The rest of the men were sent back to their homes.

The word says that Jonathan attacked the Philistines outpost. Saul had the trumpets blown and sent out a message to the Hebrews that the Philistines were attacked and Israel now has become a stench to the philistines. The people were summoned to be with Saul in Gilgal.

Philistine prepared to fight Israel with Thousands of chariots, Charioteers, and as many soldiers as the sand on the seashore. They went up and camped at Micmash. When the men of Israel saw that Philistine was ready to attack the became scared. Some hid in caves and others crossed the Jordan river. Saul stayed in Gilgal, the soldiers that were with him were terrified. Saul waited the seven days that Samuel told him to wait, Samuel didn’t  go to Gilgal and Saul’s men scattered. Saul told some one to bring him the burnt offering and just as soon as he finished making the offering Samuel arrived and Saul went to greet him.

Samuel asked Saul what he had done? and Saul replied that when the men where leaving, and Samuel hadn’t come at the time he said he would, plus Philistines were coming he felt compelled to seek Gods favor.

Samuel tells Saul that he did not keep the Lords command, if he had the Lord would have established his Kingdom. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people. because you didn’t keep his command. Samuel left and Saul took count of his men which came up to six hundred.

These fifteen verses reminds me that it can seem that the enemy may out number us, and bring fear that everything we kn ow will crumble. It is faith in knowing that God will provide that we should walk with. We can’t go oh my, the lights will be cut off let me now repent, and pray so that the Lord will fix it. God know our hearts he knows when we are coming to him just for satisfactions.

When Saul prepared the burnt offering himself it was like he was saying the Lords time has come and passed and Samuel isn’t here so I’m going to have to do it myself. We can not give our obstacles to the Lord and then say let me do it myself. That’s like saying God isn’t Sovereign. It’s having faith that we serve a Sovereign God, and his time is right on time. Glory to God.

verse 16 -22

Israel without weapons

Saul, his son Jonathan and the men all stayed in Gibeah in Benjamin. There were no blacksmiths to be found in Israel, the word says the Philistines said ” Otherwise the Hebrews will make swords or spears.” all Israel went down to Philistine to have there weapons and tools sharpen. On the day of battle the only men with weapons were Saul and Jonathan.

While we look back on chapter 13 we see that it is faith that keeps us in Gods instructions. verses 16-22 shows us that our faith will be tested. If we look at the fact that only Saul and his son Jonathan had weapons. What does your faith tell you? My Faith tells me that even with two people with weapons, God has the Power to bring favor over them against thousands of men. We serve a God that is Sovereign over all things including our enemies including that thing that is preparing to attack you.

Today Meditate on how you can practice faith. When you start to stress ask God for instructions and allow him to prepare your path. Know that you serve a Sovereign God rest in your foundation of faith practice building your faith.

Now for the Important part, If you are looking for Salvation and will like to start building your foundation download the free bible app, google, or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead. Build your faith by studying the word of God, Worshiping and praise, prayer and fellowship.

Be Blessed
