Job chapter 12

Glory to God we left off friday with Jobs friend zophar telling Job that he was a fool to think that he had not done any thing to be in the position that he was in that God sees all things that he is the creator and destroyer. But if you lift up your hand and ask for forgiveness then you will be able to look to him without shame.

Job replies That he knows everything that he is telling him. Job says his friends are being entertained he called on God and he replied with his friends the laughingstock who clam to be righteous and blameless

He says men that are comfortable in life have disregard for the misfortune as the fate of those who feet are sleeping  they would not be ready to catch them or help them. He goes on to say The tent of robbers are undisturbed and those who provoke God are secure those who carry their god in their hand.

Jesus! Job is saying you would would be quick to push a person who is slipping    before you will stop people that are out there up to no good and not walking right but stealing and killing.

Lord God have mercy! This is true it’s the reason why some don’t go to church now, because those that say they are righteous would rather be rude to those who are struggling, but watch the drug dealers and the rubbers go on ahead to keep killing and stealing.

Job says look around the earth and at all that is breathing and moving you will see what God does. What God tears down can not be rebuilt, if he holds back water there is a drought. God takes away the power of those who thank they have authority. He will and can make them roam in the dark

Go to chapter 4:31-37 of Daniel where we see that king Nebuchadnezzar went through the same thing his royal dominion was stripped and he roamed like an animal for a time.

You can scroll down and find a blog on this chapter.

I pray that you enjoyed this chapter what I take from this study is that we should be giving the misfortune support and an understanding ear. The sane pass we are willing to guve those that cross Gods law and commandments. We should be ready to help without judge taking the same mind my business attitude because you never know when you will be in the position and have great loss, God has the power to take away all that he has given us Gloryyyyyy to GOD  even our very life. HALLELUJAH.

Let me introduce myself  for those who do not know who I am, my name is Wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God. There is nothing better than serving such an awesome Sovereign God. Ok lets get in to the word.

Job chapter 10
In this chapter Job says I have disgust for my very life; so I am willing to freely speak out in bitterness and complaint of my soul.

At this point Job is a man ready to die now he’s saying; I don’t want to do this anymore. I will speak about my complaints and sorrows.

He says Lord don’t  punish me but let me know what I did wrong, why are you putting me through this.

When we are going through a rough time when we feel as if God has his rod on us, Some would say we are attacked by the enemy.

Trying to figure out what we did wrong and how we got to that point will add strain and stress, it will sometimes make us feel worse than we are feeling naturally it will began to attack the spirit.

At this point you may even fill like Job but hold on, the storm sometimes will have you feel like that.

Job says he would say to God does it please you to oppress me? are you like a mortal that you are only looking for the bad in me?

Even though you know that I am not guilty, and that you are so mighty that no one can help me.

You are my maker are you now my destroyer? You have put me together, blessed my life and watched over me. If I had sinned  you would have punished me right away.

Even if I am innocent, I can’t lift my head I am consumed  in my great sorrow. And even if I hold my head high, you come with your awesome power against me and bring people to speak against me and increase my pain and suffering.

Job says that when he is trying to get his mind right here comes people to bring negative around to push him back down.

Have you ever experienced that? when you are going through something here comes people to add on to your troubles so you feel as if your getting it from every angle

Job says why didn’t I die at birth, if only I wasn’t loved and had good things, if I had died at birth I never would have been able to feel this moment.

He says aren’t I going to die soon release me, so that I can have a moment of joy.

Praise God! Job is feeling as if he can’t take anymore, he feels as if no matter what he says God is not going to answer him, he’s just going to get more angry.

I’m sure that we all have those moments, where we may say father why has thou forsaken me. Know that there is a rise at the end. There is never a time or a thing that we go through that God hasn’t prepared a way out already, you have to reach into the spirit realm and through faith pull it into the natural with the strength of the Holy Spirit, speaking it in to existence moving as if you are already in your latter days.

If you remember Job said he can’t even come to him because he is consumed in his grief, grief will bring us to speak negative if  we let it take over.

If you are in the eye of the storm and you just can’t see a clear view to the outside or pass the debris that’s flying around.  Just know keep your eyes on what is to come, keep focused on faith, and strength but most of all the goodness of God.

Have a blessed Thursday

Now for the Important part, if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door to a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God Jesus Christ.

Job Chapter 9

Yesterday we heard from Jobs friend Bildad and he explained to Job to be patient if his words were true and he was without sin that God will show up and he will be happy  again. In chapter 9 Job replies  to Bildad and he says:

Indeed this is true. But how can a mortal be righteous before God? He could not answer him one time out of a thousand.

Job is speaking of the many times he called on Gods name to release him from the pain and dispear.

Job states that Gods wisdom is great, and his powers is immeasurable. No one has resist him and come out undamaged.

He moves mountains with out them crimbling and collapsing, he has the strength to overturn them in his anger.

He shakes the earth and makes them tremble. He has the power to make the sun not come up and to clear the sky of the stars.

He alone stretch out the heavens, and walks on the waves of the sea.

He perfoms wonders that can not be fathomed, miracles that can not be counted. No one can stop him he is the maker of all and he can put an end to all that he creates.

Job goes on to say; even though I did not do anything who am I to argue with God, I can only beg for his mercy.

Even if I summoned him and he responded I don’t believe he would give me a hearing. He would crush me with a storm.

Job says who am I to argue  with God he is the maker of all things , who am I to question what he chose to do or how he chooses to display his anger, I can only say Lord have mercy on my soul.

Job stated in 9:20 Even if I were innocent,  my mouth would condemn me; if I were blameless, it would pronounce me guilty.

Job says; although I am blameless, I have no concern for myself; I despise my own life.

He says his days are quick if he stops complaining or smile he will still dread all his sufferings. No matter what he does God is still going to put him through what he is going through.

Job says; God is not a man that I could comfront him in court. If only there was someone who could mediate between us. Someone who could remove Gods rod from me. So that his terror wouldn’t frighten me any more.than I could speak up without fear of him, but as for right now I can’t.

Praise God ! Yes God is the creator of all things, even satan has to ask for permission. Being ill and in pain made Job angry over his circumstances but he was aware that he just wanted mercy, he felt that he was not goid enough to question God it would be an insult to God, but maybe someone else could stand as a middle man so that he wouldn’t catch anymore of Gods wrath directly.

Sometimes we may feel like we are not worthy to speak to the Lord about how ever we are feeling, so we seek priest, pastors and intercessors to go before God on our behalf.

This book was before Jesus so you know all through this chapter I took the time to thank Jesus for his sacrifices Thanking him for being the arbitrator for us, Hallelujah Thank you Jesus for your blood thst washed me clean Glory to God, Thank you for the ability to be able to repent and go to the Father. Gloryyyy to God.

Job Chapter 8

This Chapter we hear from Jobs friend Bildad he speaking to Job. To recap in chapter 7, we left off at Job calling for his life to end, knowing that his death is coming, he began asking God why is he a target.

In chapter 8 Bildad starts off saying, How long will you talk like that? your words are just rants. ( blustering winds) he says does God corrupt justice? Does God corrupt what is right?

He reminded Job when his children sinned God gave them punishment for their sins. He then says if you would plead with God if you are upright and blameless even now he would rouse on your behalf.Job 8:7 your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.

Bildad says to Job ask the former generation  (the elders) and find out what the fathers learned. We were just born yesterday and know nothing but what follows (a shadow ) will they not tell you? Will they not teach you?

Bildad explains the same way plants can’t  grow without water we can’t  grow and flourish without God. If we trust in anything other than God it will not hold us up like a spider web if you lean on it, it will give way.

Bildad goes on to encourage Job by saying 20: Surely God does not reject a blameless man or strengthen the hands of  evildoers.21: He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and lips with shouts of joy. 22: your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more.

Amen

This chapter is one to keep a bookmark on, it’s something to go back to when we are going through the tests and lessons of life. Sometimes we are taken down to humble beginning and when we make it out we step into our blessings which leads us prosperous for some that’s financial for others that’s spiritual.

Sometimes we lean on others for support when they are unstable like a spider web they will give way.

Keeping our faith and knowing that God will come in the time that it is written and show up ,your happy time will come again. Those that spoke against will be shamed, what they assumed will be shut down by the truth.

God bless you all I pray that this chapter was a blessing to someone because it was a push for me. Love you

Job Chapter 6

This chapter is Jobs response to Eliphaz accusations that he must have sinned against God to be going through such horrible curses.

Job replies

That his pain and anger out weighs the sands in the sea this is why he lacked thinking about what he said and how the distress came frome his mouth (see chapter 3). He goes on to say that Gods arrows are inside of him. And their words are like poison to his spirit. Gods terrors are arranged against me.I refuse to eat your words.

Job says O if God would grant my request and give me what I hope for, that he would crush me, let loose his hands and cut me off. Then I would still have this comfort, my joy in this unyielding pain is that I did not deny the words of the Holy one.

Job goes on to say do I have strength that I should hope. What are my possibilities that I should be patient? Am I unbreakable like stone, do I have the power to help myself, Now that success has run away from me.

A man showing the loss of all hope, should have the loyalty of his friends, even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. But my brothers are undependable as irregular streams

Job goes on to say that they are like a merchant traveling and sure that when he reaches his water destination he is disappointed because there is none. He express to them that they were no help, he  says you see something dreadful and are afraid. He ask them have I ever asked you to pay a ransom for me from your wealth, deliver me from my enemy, ransom me from the clutches of the ruthless?

Job tells them teach me, and  I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong. How painful are honest words! But what do your arguments prove? Do you mean to correct what I say, and treat the words of a dispearing man as wind? He says to them you would cast lots for the fatherless for exchange for service (barter)  for your friend.

Job says look at me would I lie to your face, abandon that Idea don’t be unfair; for my integrity is at stake. Is there any wickedness on my lips? Can my mouth not discern malice?

Wow I didn’t want to interupt this one, could you imagine what an example when Job said you are so irregular it’s like a person on a journey and know there is water in a certain place and they get there and there’s no water.

Have you ever been there, expected someone to have your back but you found them wayyyy back, this was exactly what Job is speaking of.

I am in pain and wanting to die at least I should hear my friends say God bless you Job, well done you are a Good man.

This chapter difiantly shows us that even when we are at our weakest we can not expect for others, to stand loyal. He tells them to take back their unfair judgement for his integrity sake.

People are irregular they are suppose to be irregular we make assumptions on things we know nothing about, this is a lesson that we need to take  whatever that someone maybe going through it is not our place to assume how they got there,  it is just our place to support them in the journey to getting back on their feet.

Gloryyyy to God.

Now on to the most important part if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door to a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God Jesus Christ he has been waiting for you.

Now that the introduction is over lets get started on chapter 5 of Job.

Job Chapter 5

Job’s friends were  serious in believing that Job had done some serious sin to cause such curses on his life, to make the statement resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple  suggesting that maybe he was angry about something or jealous of someone.

Surely they did not know Job as well as they thought. It was suggested that Job should repent for what ever he had done because God is a powerful  God that he perfoms wonders that can not be fathomed. He wounds but he also binds up. He injures but his hand also heals.

I suggest that you read this chapter it’s short but full of Gods miracles.

Also Take the time to think about Job how do you think he must have felt when his friends were trying to tell him that he must have done something that he didn’t do?

I know I wouldn’t even had let them finish speaking but you know that was the kind of man that Job was.

Would you have the patience to allow someone to speak there assumptions on your life. Even when Jesus was accused he did not answer. I myself will take this from the study we really don’t need to worry about what people assume God will show them the truth in due time we just have to be patient and remember an assumption is not a reason to anger so quickly. Be patient even in your reaction. God will show up.God bless you

Now for the Important part, if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door to a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God Jesus Christ. my name is wilhelmina Lundy and I am a servant of God their is no greater Job then to serve our Soveriegn God. Now that the introduction is out the way lets get in to the third chapter of Job, I have been waiting all weekend for this.

Job Chapter 3

After Jobs friends sat in silence with him Job cursed the day he was born He saiad:

May the day of my birth perish

and the night it was said a boy is born

that day may it turn to darkness ;

may God above not care about it

may no light shine upon it.

May darkness and deep shadow  claim it once more;

may a cloud settle over it;

my blackness overwhelm it’s light.

That night -may thick darkness seize it;

may it not be included among the days of the year

nor be entered  in any of the months.

Have you ever been going through something serious in your life that you curse the day you were born, wish that the day never happen. That’s a pain that I couldn’t ever imagine. An emptiness as if your heart had been ripped out of your chest.

May the night be barren;

may no shout of oy heard in it.

May those who curse days curse that day.

those who are ready rouse Leviathan.

May it’s morning stars become dark;

may it wait for daylight in vain

and not see the first rays of dawn,

for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me

to hide trouble from my eyes.

O’God, to be in so much pain, my Lord to say you wish those doors of the womb shut on you, and your birthday a day of darkness. Not to be able to rejoice in the day but to wish a curse on the day you were born.

Why did I not perish at birth,

and Die as I came from the womb?

why were there knees to recieve me]

and breast that I might be nursed?

for now I would be lying down in peace;

I would be a sleep and at rest

with kings and counselors of the earth,

who built for themselves places now lying in ruins.
with rulers who had gold,

who filled their houses with silver.

or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child.

like an infant who never saw the light of day?

There the wicked cease from turmoil,

and there the weary are at rest.

Captives also enjoy their ease;

They no longer hear the slave driver’s shout.

The small and the great are there,

And the slave is freed from his master.

Why is light given to those in misery,

and life to the bitter soul.

To those who long for death that does not come,

Who search for it more than for hidden treasure,

who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave?

Why is life given to a man whose way is hidden,

Whom God has hedged in?

For sighing comes to me instead of food; my groans pour out like water.

What I feared has come upon me;

What I dreaded has happened to me.

I have no peace, no quietness;

I have no rest, but turmoil.

I didn’t want to paraphrase this chapter what is said is very Important, for those who suffer with depression and loneliness  this chapter may be for you.

You are not alone in what you are experiencing, In pain with his greatest fears coming to past Job was living in it and through it.

Did you get that part living in it, he may be cursing the day he was born but God saw fit for him to still be breathing which means there is away out.

As long as you are breathing there is away for God to work it out. For you, I’m praying that you find an understanding in this chapter please feel free to read on to chapter 4. God is on the otherside of despair. God bless you.

Now for the Important part, if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans10:9 and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door to a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God.

Ok now that all that is out the way, we can Jump in to chapter 2 of Job

Job Chapter 2

Second test

On another day the angels came before the Lord and satan was with them to present himself. The Lord asked satan “where have you come from?

Satan responded “from roaming back and forth through the earth. The Lord said to satan. “Have you considered my servant Job? He is blameless and upright a man who fears God and shuns evil and still maintained his integrity though you encouraged me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

Satan replied skin for skin a man will give all he has for his own life but strike out at his flesh and bones and he will surely curse you to your face. The Lord says to satan very well, then he is in your hands but you must spare his life.

Satan went back to the earth and afflicted Job with sores from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head. Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat in ashes.

Job’s wife said to him, are you still holding on to your integrity, why don’t you curse God and die already.

Job said to her your talking like a  foolish woman. Shall you accept good from God, and not trouble?

In all that is going on Job did not sin in what he said.

Job’s Three friends

Job’s  three friends got together and decided to go to Jobs house and sit and sympathize with him. When they saw him from a distance they tore thier ribes and sprinkled dust on their heads, and sat with Job for seven days and seven nights in silence, because they saw how great his suffering was.

When we look at the book of Job it reminds us that we should praise God in good times and in bad times.

That it is apart of our tests, a lesson, in all that is going on, what is bad or traumatic we have to learn how to get to our knees and praise and worship. We can’t only give him the glory when the times are good and we are receiving his blessings.

That’s like when we get mad at a friend that only comes around when we are celebrating or have money to spend we  feel as if we are being taken advantage of. Our God sees  and hears all so do think that you can pull a wool over his eyes.

Also I want you to think about  how we think selfishly satan was quick to say that let it be pain to Jobs body for sure he will curse God. In this day will you curse God if your body fell ill with sores or would you bow down and thank him for your life.

I’m going to leave you with that, have a wonderful weekend and I will catch you monday with chapter 3 of Job God bless you all.

Now for the most important part if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9, and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door for a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God Jesus Christ.

Job Chapter 1

Job lived in the land of Uz. He was a faithful and fearful servant of God and led a life without bleamish or sin.

Jobs family consist of seven sons and three daughters so that’s ten children. Job owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred donkeys, and he also had a large amount of servants.

Job was admired among the people in the east and very successful.

Job’s sons would take turns holding feasts in their homes, they would invite their sisters to eat and drink with them. When the feasting was done, the word says Job would send and have them purified.

Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking that maybe his children sinned and cursed God in their hearts, This iwas Jobs regular custom it’s something he did often.

God had blessed Job, bountifully and Job appreciated God and Loved God. Jobs faith was strong, so strong that he made sure that every morning he would sacrifice burnt offerings for his family.

Have you sent up prayers to God for your household  (family) Just asked him to cover your whole family and cleaned their hearts of anything that they may have done that was against him. As the person that has a relationship with God we shoukd go to him in petition for the members of our household.

Jobs first test

The bible tells us one day the angels presented themselves to the Lord and satan was with them. The Lord says to satan where have you come from? Satan responds: From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.

The Lord says to satan have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on this earth like him; he is blameless and upright; a man who fears God and shuns evil.

Does Job fear God for nothing? Satan replied have you not put a hedge around him and  his household everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that the flocks and herds are spread throughout the land, but stretch out your hand strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.

The Lord said to satan, very well whatever he has is on your hands, but don’t lay a finger on the man.

Satan went out of  the presence of the Lord

One day when Jobs children were feastimg and drinking wine at the oldest brothers house, a messenger came to Job and says; an oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby and the sabeans attacked and carried them off, they put servants to the sword and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you.

While that messenger was still speaking another messenger comes and says to Job a fire from God fell from the sky and burned up the sheep and the servants and I am the only one who has eacape to tell you.

While that messenger was speaking another messenger came and said the chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and carried them off, they put the servants to the sword and I am the only one who has escaped.

As that messenger was still speaking another came and says your sons and daughters  were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brothers house when suddenly a mighty wund swept in from the dessert and struck the four corners of the house It collapsed on them and they are dead and I am the only on who escaped to tell you.

At that point Job got up and torn his robe and shaved his head then he fell to the ground in worship and said.

“Naked I came from my mothers womb , and Naked I will depart. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. May the name of the Lord be praised.

In all of this Job did not sin and blame God for the wrong doings.

Glory to God , chapter one. Let me say this Job recieved bad news back to back he could not breath before another piece of bad news came and caught him.

In his faithfulnessJob new that without God he wouldn’t have had anything and praise God because only God has that power.

Did you notice that satan needed the Lords permission to even think about touching Job. Saints I tell you this it’s time for us to see the test and not call ut an attack because when you belong to God you don’t get attacked satan needs Gods permission to test your faith so lets remember when we are going through something to Praise Our Sovereign God for believing us to be strong enough to believe him for being ruler over all. Esther Chapter 7

The King and Haman went to Esthers banquet and they were drinking wine.  The King asked Esther what is your petition? What is your request? even up to half the kingdom it will be granted.

Esther answered, if I have found favor with you O king and if it pleases your majesty grant to me my life, this is my petition- and spare my people, this is my request.

She begins to tell him that she and her people were sold to destruction, Slaughter, and annihilation. If they had been sold as female and male slaves then she would have kept quiet because it wouldn’t have made since. To disturb the king.
The King asked Esther, Who is the man? Who dare such a thing?

Esther answers him and says The adversary and enemy is this vile Haman.

Could you visualize this moment haman sipping his wine feeling positive about all the negative feelings that he had filled his mind with, he probably was thinking about when and how he was going open up the conversation on killing Mordecai. Maybe even thinking about his order of reasons why. reasons that are good enough for the king. Then again he probably wasn’t  worried about giving a reason why he needed permission to take Mordecai’s life.

Then comes the Queen with her petition to spare her people.

The Bible goes on to say Haman was terrified before the King and Queen the king got up in rage left his wine and went into the palace garden.

So I’m sure we could imagine that the King was mad because the bible states that he left his wine. After reading  7 chapters the one thing we have learned that King Xerxes loves his wine.

Haman realized that the king had already decided his fate.

When the king came back from the palace garden  to the banquet hall Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was reclining. The king proclaimed  will he even molest the queen while she is with me in the house?

As soon as the word left the kings mouth they covered Haman’s face. The eunuchs attending the king said gallows seventy-five feet high stands by Haman’s house. He had it made for Mordecai who spoke up to help the king.

The king said hang him on it! So they hung Haman on the gallow he prepared for Mordecai  then the kings fury subsided.

To God be the Glory that Esther was able to save her people. That she was put in the position to speak. Praise God that Mordecai was able to raise an aware young woman who Loved God and Loved her people. Praise God that King Xerxes was pleased with the sight of Esther that he would give anything to his wife.

As a lesson to us all, we learned that what you prepare for someone  else God prepares for you. If you prepare horrible things and wish troubles and hardship, that’s what your going to get when the smoke clears.

Love each other as God loves you. You give love, and it’s going to be returned right back to you. God bless you guys
